Emulator doesn't work!

I'm using flash pro cs6 and while debugging an app made on it I kepp on getting this message "debug socket server is already in use. current debugging session will terminate" and I also cannot test it on emulator which comes with flash pro cs6.It just remains blank. please help me with this.

Can you try a newer version of the Fennec emulator? Here's a candidate build for our upcoming 4.0b2 release, which might work better:

    I've downloaded the emulator to my machine and unzipped the folder to my desktop.

    What does the problem with modules mean? Archlinux was warning me, that "in future releases /etc/modprobe.d/framebuffer_blacklist.conf.save will be ignored, but it is the same file as /etc/modprobe.d/framebuffer_blacklist.conf.
    I don't understand, why it cannot find any screens (I use a laptop screen)
    I tried to start with and without xorg.conf, which is:
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "Intel X4500MHD"
    Driver "intel"
    VendorName "Intel Corporation"
    BoardName "Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller"
    BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
    Option "DRI" "true"
    Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"
    Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"
    EndSection
    The graphic driver I use is xf86-video-intel-newest from archstuff, but it is the same version as xf86-video-intel.
    I am not sure if I provided all needed info, but I hope so. Thank you for your help.SOLVED

    Use the arch version.   It is actually built against the xorg version that you are using...  here is the relevant section of your log:
    [ 934.354] (EE) module ABI major version (6) doesn't match the server's version (7)

  • How do you close a dragged applet, as Stage.close() doesn't work?

    I'm trying to implement a close button in a draggable applet, but Stage.close() doesn't work, and there's an odd little "X" icon which is causing me problems...
    My starting point and example is the simple draggable applet from the API documentation. It's the code listed under "User-Specified Close Example":
    http://java.sun.com/javafx/1.2/docs/api/javafx.stage/javafx.stage.AppletStageExtension.html
    import javafx.scene.*;
    import javafx.scene.input.MouseEvent;
    import javafx.scene.paint.*;
    import javafx.scene.shape.*;
    import javafx.scene.text.*;
    import javafx.stage.*;
    var textContent = "Click the box to return to the browser";
    var outside: Boolean = false;
    var s: Stage = Stage {
        title: "AppDeploy Demo"
        width : 300 height : 200
        style: StageStyle.TRANSPARENT
        opacity: 0.5
        scene : Scene {
                content: [
                    Text { content: bind textContent
                           x: 25 y:35 fill: Color.BLACK
                           font: Font{size: 24}
                    Rectangle { x: 100 y: 100 width: 100 height: 100 fill: Color.RED
                                onMouseClicked: function(e: MouseEvent): Void {
                                    s.close();
        extensions: [
            AppletStageExtension {
                shouldDragStart: function(e: MouseEvent): Boolean {
                    return e.shiftDown and e.primaryButtonDown;
                useDefaultClose: false
    }However, the Stage.close() function in the user code doesn't seem to close the applet once it's dragged. It seems this can only be achieved by a mysterious little "X" in a box top right, acting as a close button.
    Here's a demonstration of the problem once you've compiled that code:
    1. Open browser with applet (I'm using IE8 on Windows XP)
    2. Shift-drag the applet out of the browser. Notice the little X in a box appears when you drop the applet on the desktop.
    3. Click the red rectangle to invoke the Stage.close() function in the user code.
    4. Applet disappears from screen and does not reappear in the browser.
    5. But minimising all the icons on the desktop shows the little X in a box is still there sitting on your desktop (actually I find the X has gone, but the box is still there). This suggests the applet is still running.
    6. Close the browser. The little X's box is still on the desktop.
    7. After a short pause a Java dialog box appears: "Desktop integration warning. The application would like to create shortcuts. Do you want to continue? OK/Skip" The applet wasn't closed, it is still running!
    8. Click Skip. Dialog box disappears. But the little X's box is still on the desktop. Is the applet still running?
    9. Try to recompile app again into a deployable Jar (I'm using Eclipse for this).
    10. The compiler stops with "ERROR: Jar file C:\[...].jar could not be deleted. The Jar is probably locked by running application, Web browser, emulator or antivirus. Please check that all windows related to the application have been closed." Yes, the applet Jar is still being used.
    11. Minimise all the windows. The little X's box is still on the desktop.
    12. Click the little X's box.
    13. After a few seconds the box disappears. Does this mean the applet is no longer in use...?
    14. Recompile the app again into a deployable Jar. It works!
    By the way, you get the same experience with another Sun sample: the DraggableMP3Player at
    http://javafx.com/samples/DraggableMP3Player/index.html
    That, too, thinks it's implementing it's own close button, and again the same problem occurs.
    So it seems Stage.close() doesn't properly close the applet, and only the the little X in a box will do this.
    I'd like to be able to really close the applet from my own code. How can I do this?
    Many thanks
    Nik

    After double tap home button, swipe up on the app card that appears above the icon.

  • [Solved] ASUS F3Ka bluetooth doesn't work

    Hi everybody!
    Can anybody help me with getting bluetooth to work on ASUS F3Ka please?
    Here is the dmesg output:
    [n0ne@darkstar ~]$ dmesg | grep Blue
    Bluetooth: Core ver 2.11
    Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
    Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
    Bluetooth: L2CAP ver 2.9
    Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
    Bluetooth: HIDP (Human Interface Emulation) ver 1.2
    I've got bluetooth daemon in my DAEMONS array in /etc/rc.conf
    BUT it still doesn't work:

    some stuff ive noticed with laptops and bluetooth...
    - bluetooth/wireless works in a lenovo i recently installed ubuntu in only after I suspend to ram. This is due to some weird Radio kill switch bug
    - sometimes leaving bluetooth and wireless turned  on on wiindows has its effects in linux, because windows drivers sometimes do not release control of the hardware. So try a cold boot, and if that doesn't work, a reboot from windows...'
    - try variants of leaving the bluetooth switch on/off during the boot process
    none of these actually seem like logical solutions, but thats how bluetooth/wireless and linux sometimes is..good luck!

  • Slim doesn't work

    HI
    i was upgrade ,and install the  fontconfig   ,then reboot
    reboot
    show this
    systemd [1]:Default target masked.
    kvm: dissabled by bios
    welcome to rescue mode! type "systemctl default" or ^D to enter defauld mode.
    i followed message
    [root@archlinux Desktop]# systemctl default
    Failed to start default.target: Operation refused, unit may not be isolated
    then
    # systemctl list-unit-files
    i found this
    default.target masked
    graphical.target masked
    slim.service enabled
    display-manager.service enabled
    but
    # startx
       is working .my xfce4 working well
    just  slim not work
    then , i fould  "  graphical.target "  is null
    i edited  it, now
    cat /usr/lib/systemd/system/graphical.target
    # This file is part of systemd.
    # systemd is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it

    After=multi-user.target
    Conflicts=rescue.target
    Wants=display-manager.service
    AllowIsolate=yes
    [Install]
    Alias=default.target
    then  reboot,  seems like solved  "default.target    masked"  problem.
    "default target masked. kvm: dissabled by bios .welcome to rescue mode! ......."no longer show
    but ,slim still doesn't  working
    now

  • Submit button doesn't work after moving form to another parent container

    I'm re-arranging the page using jquery. When I moved a div or table containing a form to another div, the submit button doesn't work anymore. Using the emulation mode under the Inspect Element feature of IE, the same code works for IE9 but not under IE10
    and up.
    Any ideas?

    I will steal the answer that George gave to a similar question, because it turns out it is applicable here as well:
    George Johnson  on Feb 23, 2012 11:17 AM
    When you distribute a form, it replaces the email address that you've set up in a submit button with the email address you have specified in "Edit > Preferences > Identity > Email Address". So before you initiate the Distribute Form process, change the email address there to the one you want to use.
    It is a ridiculous solution, because it means I have to make the identity of my personal copy of Acrobat the email address of someone else or some other department when I make the form, but whatever -- at least the form sends now.

  • Bought game for BB, but doesn't work

    I bought a game on Bplay, and have received 2 mails on my computer about the purchasing. So I had to forward the mail to my phone, and open the link that was in the mail, when I open it on my phone it says:

    Select General Properties.
    Make sure your default browser is: Internet Browser
    Exit out of General Properties and enter Browser Configuration.
    Scroll down to Emulation Mode / Browser Identification and make sure it is set to BlackBerry."
    If I change the things and try it again, it doesn't work again. I payed 9.99 dollar for this, that's not a problem at all, but I really want this game.

  • Help, why keyRepeated doesn't work

    Hello,
    I created a class to extend GameCanvas in midp2.0. In this class, I overwrote "keyPressed ()","keyReleased()","keyRepeated()" three methods.
    "keyPressed ()","keyReleased()" both work very well to capture the key.
    But keyRepeated doesn't work. It looks it hasn't been called back by system.
    I used wtk2.0 DefaultColorPhone to test the code. Does the emulator not support KeyRepeated() ?
    Can anybody help me this?
    Thanks in advance.

    i not using wtk 2.0 but u can try hasRepeatEvents method to check the availability of repeat actions

  • RDP 6.0 Vista lefthand Mouse doesn't work

    When i connect to a Terminal client  with my Windows Vista my left hand lefthand Mouse doesn't work correctly (switch to right hand).
    With Windows XP and RDP 6.0 i haven't these problem.
    what goes wrong?
    Regards
    Walter

    First off, I can state with 99.9% certainty that this has *nothing* to do with USB vs. PS/2 mice, and since you don't have custom mouse software on the client, the driver on the client is irrelevant to the equation. The version of Remote Desktop you are using is the most up to date available, so upgrading won't help you.
    I suspect (this is just a theory as I lack a mouse to test it with presently), that the problem is not that Remote Desktop doesn't recognize the presenter mouse.  Rather, the Presenter mouse software that does the custom button swapping is only designed to work with the Presenter mouse.  It ignores the emulated mouse that Remote Desktop uses on the server to forward mouse clicks from the client, so Presenter settings don't get applied.
    Does the server's mouse software completely remove the check box to swap mouse buttons, or does it just offer an additional means of swapping mouse buttons?  If the check box still exists, you should be able to use it to fix the Remote Desktop problem.  If it doesn't exist, I'm afraid I can't offer much in the way of solutions. The only possibility I can suggest is that while the client mouse software is not causing your problem, you might be able to solve the problem using the same weird mouse software that is causing the problem on the server.  As a test, you might try turning off mouse button swapping on the client, installing the Presenter on the client, and using the mouse button assignment mechanism it provides.  If it is bypassing the usually mechanism for swapping mouse buttons, it is possible that the Remote Desktop client won't detect the swap, and will pass the clicks on to the server inverted.  It's not an ideal solution, since in order to make it work in the long term you'd need to get another Presenter mouse for the client, but try it out to see if it *can* solve your problem.
    I will look into providing a mechanism to solve this more easily in the future (even if it is just a checkbox to allow you to force a swap), but any solution would not be available for quite a while I'm sorry to say.

  • Rich Textbox example doesn't work in Windows 7

    In the past I use the Rich Textbox example (\samples\userint\activex\richTextxbox.prj) in Windows XP (CVI 2010 SP1).
    Now I noticed that this example doesn't work in Windows 7 64-bit because the ActiveX is not registered on the system (see attached error.jpg).
    Isn't this control installed by CVI IDE itself?
    How can I get this example working on my Win 7 64-bit machine?

    Hi Vix
    It looks like the Rich Textbox control component provided by one of the VB runtimes is no longer included by default with Windows 7.
    I have been able to manually register the ActiveX control using Regsvr32 as described in the following Microsoft KB.
    I was able to download the needed ActiveX control from here and from there you need to copy the .ocx ActiveX control to your C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory. Open up a command prompt as administrator and run 'REGSVR32 RICHTX32.OCX'.
    SysWOW64 is the 'Windows On Windows' emulation directory which is used for running 32 bit controls in a 64 bit environment.
    I realise this isn't the best solution as it will make application deployment a little more complicated, another solution may be to use another RTF ActiveX control such as the one here: http://www.lebans.com/richtext.htm.

  • WIFI pairing doesn't work

    I can't seem to make this awesome feature work
    I find it awesome, because my goal is to use the Z1 Compact Wirelessly as much as possible - which limits the need to open and close the delicate port opening.  also i just hate Micro USB ...
    WIFI paring (Network Configuration) require a couple of things to work (apparently):
    - Windows Firewall (or other) has to be enabled
    - UPnP Framework Rule has to be enabled in Windows Firewall (actually named Portable Device Connection)
    - UPnP Device Host Service has to be enabled and running (i guess)
    - Network Discovery has to be enabled
    - more ?? maybe a sacrificed chicken ??
    Well... After doing all that, it still doesn't work -- I guess it's not worth the effort ??
    A much simpler solution i've found, is to install "SAMBA FileSharing"
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.funkyfresh.samba - which works perfectly !

    Self-replying, so
    Dear Me,
    1° To undo the pairing, navigate to folder storage/emulated/0 using "ES File Explorer" and delete file named after the computer you want un-pair.
    2° Redo the pairing.
    brgds, Me Again
    [Edit]
    Seems to be ok for now, at least the devices still show on the list.
    Would be nice to have shortcut(s) for connecting to pc / laptop on the home screen and / or smart connecting, but could not find either. I must have missed it surely it can not be only accessible via settings, can it?

  • Mini-DVI to S-Video Adapter doesn't work

    Hi, I am using the Mini-DVI to S-Video adapter from apple to connect my macbook to the TV. But the only thing I get is a grey flickering picture on my TV. When I click on the monitor-button I can see that my macbook detects only a monitor (but not a TV) in addition to the macbook-LCD-display. I tried all different resolutions, but needless to say it doesn't work.
    Can the adapter be broken, or is there a problem with the macbook?
    Macbook white 2 GHz Intel Core Duo 1GB RAM   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    my macbook detects only a monitor (but not a TV) in addition to the macbook-LCD-display
    If you connect the Mini-DVI to S-Video adapter, the monitor button on the menubar should show resolutions for Color LCD in one section and NTSC/PAL in the other.
    A grey flickering picture is indicative of picking the wrong standard-PAL vs. NTSC.
