Enable shipping condition in delivery header to be editable

Hallo experts, need your advise on below:
Currently the delivery header shipping condition is not allowed to be changed in VL01n or VL02n, it's somehow "grey out". How can I make this field editable? Is it by user exit or transaction variant? Honestly speaking, I don't prefer transaction variant. Is there any SAP standard way to do so except transaction variant?

Shipping Condition in Delivery header usually copied, if shipping condition is assigned to sales document type in customization, otherwise system copies from corresponding customer master data. As far as standard SAP, you can not change this value during delivery processing. You may check for user exit only.

Prevent Shipping Condition for Item

Hi Pros,
I'm a PP guy so forgive my ignorance please.
1)     I enter a shipping condition in the header of a sales order, Parcel for example.
2)     I enter item 10 part A and all is well because part A is small and weighs less than 50lbs (our cut off weight)
3)     I enter item 20 part B which only weighs 20 lbs but is too big to ship parcel. Now my shipping clerk must call traffic to reroute the order.
Is it possible in sales order / quote processing that I give my salesman/CSR an error when they try to put a material on an order with this Parcel shipping condition? Maybe an exit that bounces MARC-TRAGR off of VBAK-VSBED (Material master transportation group against sales order shipping condition)?
I expressed to the traffic manager that by using transportation groups I can force a delivery split which should flag the issue but understandably she does not like that option.

This is condition table, which tells the system about what is the Partner function and what is the company code / Sales Organization to which it needs to send MSDS. .

Shipping Condition Change in Delivery

Hello,
Can forum members tell me if I could change the shipping conditions in the delivery? I know there are couple of OSS Notes available which can be applied to activate the shipping condition field but I do not want to do that. My requirement is that I want to activate the shipping condition field which is in the shipment tab of delivery header. There should be no link of this field with Shipping Point or Route. Please let me know if there is any user exit available where we can write something to activate the field.

You cannot edit the shipping condition in the delivery as it is coped from the preceding document which is sales order.
When you do an F1 help on the shipping condition tab, this is the info you get:
If a shipping condition has been assigned to a sales document type in Customizing, this condition will be proposed by the system in the corresponding sales document. If there is no assignment, the system copies the relevant data from the corresponding customer master record of the sold-to party. You cannot change this value during delivery processing. The shipping condition will not be copied from the delivery into the shipment. The shipping condition is one of several criteria for selecting deliveries when you create a shipment. You can enter a shipping condition manually in the shipment where it only serves as a characteristic for grouping shipments.

Restrict Shipping conditions on the Sales Orde Header Document

Hi,
I have a unique requirement
We have a large pool of shipping conditions for our products namely
Overnight
One day
Ground
International
Saturday Delivery etc
Hazard Overnight
Hazard Ground
We have a few hazardous materials for which we want to restrict the shipping conditions to only 2
i.e
Hazardous Overnight
Hazardous 3 Day
in sales order creation.
What i mean is tht any time a sales order is created for these hazardous material,the customer service representative should not be able to select any other shipping conditions expect
Hazardous Overnight
Hazardous 3 Day
In Standard SAP we can have the shipping condition defaulted from the customer master in the sales document.However if required we can manually go and change the shipping conditions to any thing different.
How can i restrict this for specific materials though?

If the question is "can we limit the list that appears in the drop-down box to these 2 selections" then the answer is "No".
But in a user exit you can trigger an error message if the users select an invalid shipping condition. As correctly suggested above, this can be done in MV45AFZZ include.
There are various routines that are triggered at different times. You may be able to use USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP or USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBKD (if "shipping conditions" are stored in VBKD-VSART).

I think you cant change shipping condtions directly in delviery. Because this data will be copied from sales order. So if you want to change u can change in sales order and then try to create delevery.
Based on this shipping conditions only shipping point will be determined. So you cant change in delivery but u can change in sales order or directly u can change in customer ship to pary then it will be copied to sales documents...

PO header condition shows the price of all the items seperately when material are seperate. when u have the same material of five line items it will club together and shows it as one.

Delivery header output issue

Hello every one,
We have a plant assigned to multiple storage locations(A,B) and we have different printers at both the str.locations.(1,2)
Output procedure is assigned to the delivery header.
when ever i use storage location A it should print on printer 1
and
when i use storage locaiton B it should print on printer 2.
Storage locaiton details are stored at the delivery item level.
how can i separate the printers based on the storage location and print the doc from delivery header?
Configurations, development or requirements.... please advice

Hi Sumanth,
If you already have plant and storage location in key combination to set the condition record, you just need to maintain the printer name into "Communication" data of condition record in tcode "VV22".
If you don't have plant - St Locn in key combination you'll need
1) Maintain the condition table for fields plant, storage location and delivery type. (path SPRO>LE>shipping>Basic functions>Untruth control>O/P determination>O/p determination for o/b delivery)
2) Assign newly created table to the access sequence which is assigned to condition type. (path SPRO>LE>shipping>Basic functions>Untruth control>O/P determination>O/p determination for o/b delivery-->Maintain Access Sequence)
With above setting you'll be able to maintain condition record with the new key combination and then can maintain the printer 1 for plant "A", st locn "B" and delivery type "LF". Also can maintain printer B for combination "A", "C" and "LF".

Transportation group at delivery header

Dear Friends,
while creating the delivery from some of the plants transportation group not determined at delivery header level, but i can find the same at item level.
Can you please let me know how it gets determined at header level, if there is any specal setting required.
customer is having the shipping condition
Material is having the transportation group
route is determined properly..
the only the proble is transportation zone at delivery header level.
can you treat this one as top prioiry and let me know.

I know very well this but wanted you to check whether any deletion is made in the meanwhile.
for few of the cases it is working fine
What those few cases are ?? Different delivery type ?? Different Material code ?? You need to analyse this and compare in your system.

You can define shipping conditions in your system which corresponds to the requirements of your company. You can specify a shipping condition in the customer master and in the vendor master.
The loading group, the plant and the shipping condition determine the shipping point that will be proposed by the system.
Apart from the country and the geographical region of the shipping point, the ship-to party and the transportation group, the shipping condition determines the route that the system proposes in the order for the delivery of the goods. In the delivery, the route proposal also takes the weight group into account.

Shipping condition in the billing document

Dear SD gurus,
I saw that the shipping condition is changed on the cross company PO and it's cpied to the delivery document but the system does not copy it to the billig header.I think it's standart but I am not sure if it's OK or not? Why does the system does not copy it and redetermşnes the shipping condition based on the sold to master data again?
In other side, the shipping condiiton is changed on the sales order and the system copies it to the delivery and later to the billing document successfully.
What is this difference coming from?

Yes as like sale order process where system will copy the shipping condition from sale order to billing, it will not happen in case of STO. In fact, shipping condition will not copy from delivery to billing in both these cases (sale order and STO).

Delivery Header Output Determination Issue

Hi all,
       I have a scenario like below.O/P condition type OPT has to be determined in Delivery header based on the Payer.
       I read the IMG-S&D-SYS.MOD-New fields for O/P Determ with Condition technique. Based on that i added the Payer Field KUNRG in KOMKBV2-Header for Communication O/P in Delivery.Since KUNRG is already in KOMB it didn't add it in the structure KOMBZ.Now i created a Condition table,Access Seq and when i assign the condition record i am not able to see all Payer in F4 of KUNRG.
       Am i missing something. Have i assigned wrong field in KOMKBV2.
I have a doubt if KNRZE might work? Plz clarify.

Determining only one output type (out of 4) in delivery header

Hello everyone!
We have 4 different Label Output Types (in delivery header). And the requirement is to print only 1 output type (depending on Customer No.)
I made the 4 output types link to one Access Sequence. Defined some condition records for each Output type and defined the same tables in the Access Sequence. So the access sequence has 4 accesses (exclusive flag checked)
Now when I create a delivery with a Ship To number which has condition records only for only 1 output type. I mean it passes the first Access in my access sequence and hence should only print the output type that has condition record for that "Ship to" number. Yet it is printing all 4 output types.
Any help is appreciated .

Shipping condition HD00

Is there a way to define shipping condition HD00 (header level) to not distribute the freight. We would like freight charge to be a fixed amount, where one time freight charge is applied to an entire sales order. We do not want HD00 amount to be distributed to all line items or apply same amount equally to all line items.
If the delivery qty is changed or there is a split shipment we DO NOT want freight charge to change. For example, delivery was split because of partial avail. of stock.
We would like freight amount to remain constant or fixed. One amount applied to an entire sales order.

I don't think this is possible in standard. Any price or discount or surcharge or freight is always associated with materials or services and it needs material or service reference to post into accounting. Hence the header condition needs to be distributed or applied same to line items of a sales order always.

Since every now and then this question is coming in the forum, I further checked OSS notes and found Note 84605 - Transfer absolute amount condition to billing doc. Can you check whether this note is of any help to your scenario?

Custom field to add number of packages shipped along with Delivery

Hi Sap Experts,
We have scenario, we have created sales order with quantity 1(Like soft copy or hard copy of CD).
Now we want to create delivery with sales order and quantity is 1(Copy from sales order).
Our requirement is some time we have to send additional things like hard copy of manual or complement gift which we are not entering in sales order.
Exp: Sales order- quantity 1.
Want to deliver quantity 1(+ manual+ complement gift, these items are not part of standard order)
For more clarity, we have to add one field and want to enter number (How many items we have send along with main materials and these items are not relevant for pricing also).
So requirement is add one additional field in delivery header/item.
Customer doesn’t want to use Free of goods or BOM which we have propose him. How to customize standard table and standard program.

I have also checked "No. of packages'` at header level but my requirement is at item level.So we are also exploring the option of APPEND standard table and add this field.
