  • Down-/Upload files via Web Services using a NON-SAP system!?

    Hello,
is it possible to down-/upload files via web services using a NON-SAP system!?
    Regards,
    Jens

    Hi Jens,
I am not sure about your requirement here. What i could understand is that you want to check whether service could handle file processing?
    1) Uploading file - You can build a Webservice which has import/export parameters as the file structures and implement the proxy class in such a way that the passed data is written to application server.
    2) Downloading file - Same as uploading file, but the proxy class would have the code to extract data from the application server and pass them as output parameter.
Functionality of Non SAP system: The system which calls these services should be able to convert the output of proxy data into file in case of downloading the file and it should be able to convert the file data into export parameters in case of uploading file.
    Hope this helps.

  • Web Services reliable messaging is not supported in SAP AS 7.0?

In 7.1 documentation, I find that one enables a webservice for reliable messaging by writing @RelMessagingNW05DTOperation annotation.
However I'm shocked to find that in 7.0 documentation, it only talks about some PL/SQL like code (LUW) that one has to implement to have reliable messaging (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp2/helpdata/en/46/9743916d1115ece10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm). As I'm not familiar with LUW, can you confirm that the developer himself has to handle creating sequences, reordering them and guaranteeing exactly once delivery? And the LUW code shown in the link, does it do all this?
    Please advice.

Someone please reply. I'm clueless. Are they saying the webservices reliable messaging has already been implemented using ABAP LUW and is available in the workbench? If so how to use it ito create a reliable webservice? Why are they showing some PL/SQL like code then?  It is all unintelligible to me as I haven't used any of these.

  • Web services reliable messaging in weblogic 9

    Hi Weblogic web services gurus,
I have some questions regarding the reliable messaging support in wls9 of web services.
    1. Since the SAF used for persistent storage, does weblogic support the sequence recovery when system failures? Or sequence can't accorss system failures?
    2. For the response sequence created by the web services service provider, what is the RM policy used? From the the wsdl file, we can see the policy only attach to the input message part of operation section.
    Thank you very much!

  • SOAP Reliable Messaging (8.1) vs. Web Service Reliable Messaging (9.0)

I am looking for the differences in implementation and user experience for two Reliable Messaging solutions ( besides that WL 9.0 implemented WS-RM Spec. ). In particular, when a Reliable Messaging transaction is committed and successfully complete, which consumer element/component on the receiver side gets the message and how ( I mean a run-time component which is not implemented by WL on the receiver side) ? Does the message stay in receiver side persistent storage until it is taken by the consumer element/component or it sits in memory only ?
Docs in 8.1 version detailed how the SOAP RM worked while in 9.0 version such description is absent.
Please, send your response to [email protected]
    Thank you in advance,
    - Michael

    Hi,
i think its not possible to get the response of the return type as void. you just think in normal core java also, its not possible that. i think you must change in the web service. and one more thing are you developing the web service in java or .NET? if it in java its easy to change the return type. i am also new to java web service. i am giving what i know.
    Thanks

  • Web Services Reliable Messaging

Does Oracle BPEL PM has WSRM implemented
1.As Server to expose WSRM based service ?
2.To consume other WSRM services ?
If so, what other app servers the interoperability is tested ?
    regards,
    Arun

BPEL PM does not support WS-RM .. But you can use Oracle's Webservice Manager, that should contain this feature as part of its SLA management ..

  • Web Service Reliable Messaging: Namespace confusion / bug

    Hello,
according to the 9.2 doc and IMHO the spec the correct namespace for RM1.0 assertions is:
    xmlns:wsrm="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/02/rm/policy
    however, the packaged example uses
    xmlns:wsrm="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/02/rm
even worse, this is the only way to get it to work!
does that mean I have to use a wrong namespace to get a working WS-RM example for the latest WLS9.2MP3?
    thanks for your input.
    Barossa

ok, it does work with the rm namespace. I have no idea why, as this should be a completely different schema.
also it works with the correct namespace rm/policy (which is more restrictive, first I had an ExponentialBackoff element
in the wrong order, for the rm namespace it was ok, but not for the rm/policy.)
so the example is plain wrong. the namespace and even the sequence of the elements. still it is working. how does that come?

  • M251n can't enable hp web services

I just got an M251n printer and I have been trying to set up the wireless for hours going through all the support suggestions and none have worked.  When trying to enable the Web Services Setup I get a message of "Connection error. Check internet connection."  The connection is fine and working and the printer is connected online via ethernet and my computer is connected to the printer by USB.
I am using a Mac and have downloaded the latest driver for the printer.  One support suggestion stated that I might have outdated firmware but I can't find any firmware updates for this printer.
I am not sure what is wrong.  It's not straight forward and without the wireless function working I will have to take this printer back and buy a different brand.
    Any suggestions are welcomed.

    Hello neilthedirector,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that the HP LaserJet Pro 200 color Printer M251n will not allow you to enable the Web Services. I was able to locate a firmware update utility that you can check the printer with, if you are using Mac OS X 10.5 - 10.8.
HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility<---
    If the update is not present, or fails to resolve the issue, try applying a manual I.P address and DNS. To do this;
Enter the printer's I.P into the address bar in Safari.
    Click Networking, then IPv4 Configuration.
Set the IP Preferred Address Method to Manual.
Increase the last set of numbers by 50.
    Subnet Mask should be 255.255.255.0.
Default Gateway will be your router's I.P address.
Click Network Identification on the left.
Under DNS Primary (IPv4) enter 209.244.0.3 and for Secondary (IPv4) enter 209.244.0.4.
Click Apply and then power the printer off and then on.
Try now to enable the Web Services.

  • P1102w cannot enable "HP WEB SERVICES" for sprintConnection error" check

I have a new printer which works fine for wifi printing but I'd like to use web printing which I beleive is called eprint.
I printed the configuration page and my firmware is 20120814
I cannot see were my printers email address is.
I navigated to the printers url and clicked on the tab "hp web services" and clicked on the green button enable but I keep getting the following error message.
    "connection error: check internet connection"
From the router I can see that both the laptop and printer are on the same network 192.168.0.??
Can you please advise I suspect I have a fault on the printer but cannot be certain what can I do, I have updated the software on my mac which is running mavericks 10.9.2 , I've even hit the update software and there is no further updates available whch should mean I have the latest software and firmware for the printer.
Please advise how I may overcome the error when there clearly is no network issue as I can get to the printer to print and go to its web pages without any issues at all?

    Hi  paz_egap,
Thank you for the thorough response, I appreciate it.
Since you have set a static ip with manual DNS servers and you are still cannot enabled the web services is the firmware up-to-date on the printer.  Please follow the steps in Getting the Firmware and Product Updates.  Once the firmware is current and the printer still has its manual ip address and manual DNS servers you should be okay to enabled the web services on the printer.
If you are still having an issue after completing the above please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region.  If you live outside the USA/Canada region please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

  • Cannot enable HP Web Services: "Connection error. Check Internet connection."

    Hello,
I have a problem with LaserJet setup using Wi-Fi network from windows 7 and 8. The problem as far as I understand is due to inaccessible HP Web Services.
    Details:
1, The printer works good by USB.
    2. The printer is correctly configured to use Wi-Fi router with right password.
    3. It can be successfully ping'ed from Windows
    4. In Web browser I can enter on printer's IP
(Serial Numbers are hidden as you recommend, firmware updated)
    4. But when I try to Enable HP Web Services, an error message appears:
which is strange, because the printer is connected to the same router as the computers and other devices  with automatic configuration (and internet is available without any proxy when I am typing this message):
Please help to resolve this issue.
    Thanks,
    Fedor

    Thanks for clarifying Fedor,
HP Web Services are not related to the pritner installation over the local network, those are two different features.
However that may indicate a nework issue.
First try running the HP Print & Scan Doctor below on one of your PCs:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&jumpid=ex_r4155/hho/ipg/ccdoc/p...
Does the tool can see your printer throught eh local network?
By clicking the top Network menu and Troubleshoot Firewall, what Firewall software is detected on your system?
Try disabling it and check if that may help.
From teh top Network menu select Show Advanced Information.
What is the IP address of your PC?
I also suggest rebooting the router by unplugging its power for a moment, then reboot the printer and try installing it again.
If the issue persists, what is your router model?
May you see any difference by connecting the printer to your router with an Ethernet cable?
Say thanks by clicking the Kudos thumb up in the post.
If my post resolve your problem please mark it as an Accepted Solution

  • Help! Getting "Connection error Check connection" when trying to enable HP Web Services on M1536DNF

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to enable HP Web Services on HP LaserJet Pro M1536DNF model?  Everything works fine and shows it's connected to the network but I cannot enable HP Web Services.  It says "Connection error Check connection" I've tried restarting everything; network, printer, computer.  I've also updated firmware to latest version as well.

    Hi snapry,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are getting an unable to connect message when trying to enable the web services for your Laserjet CP1025nw printer.
Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer.  The instructions can be found in the document Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. There is a Windows section and a Mac section.  In the Windows section you will find the instructions in the sub-section titled “Solution three: Assign the printer a static IP address”. For Mac the applicable sub-section is titled “Solution two: Assign the printer a static IP address”.  When entering the information for the Manual Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.8.8 and for the Alternate Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.4.4.  These are Google’s DNS servers.
After setting the manual IP address and manual DNS servers, you should have no problems enabling the web services.
