Enabled users are not seen in the rtc database

Hi,
I have installed Lync 2013 into our environment and I am having an issue where users enabled for Lync are not able to log into the client, receiving the error:
"You didn't get signed in. It might be your sign-in address or logon credentials, so try those again. If that doesn't work, contact your support team."
We have an EE FE pool and all the AD prep and server install sections completed successfully.
When a user is enabled via the Control Panel or using Enable-CsUser, all the relevant attributes within AD are populated and visible in AD and the Get-CsUser command. However, running dbanalyze with /report:user returns the following error:
###50010:ReportUserData: [email protected] is not found in this database.
Also, running dbanalyze with /report:diag returns:
No contacts found in the database.
I have checked SQL profiler and can see similar issues to this post -
http://jamesosw.wordpress.com/2013/08/04/cant-sign-in-to-lync/ with the same errors in SQL Profiler and OCS Logger Tool, but we only have one domain, so this fix doesn't work and isn't relevant anyway.
Is there anyone who could shine a light on this problem?

Update-CsUserDatabase and after 5 minutes Can we get the output of Get-csuserpoolinfo -identity "domain\username"

    After upgrading to 10.3.1 Any kind of USB key is not seen by the OS, even after restarting the operating system.

    There a lot of issues being discovered by users doing the upgrade OTA or using Link. And they are varied. It's had to say whether your problem another of these issues or something else. Those I trust are recommending a clean OS install using an autoloader as so far there are not the same problems afterward.
    You could try the autoloader route. Do a backup first. After the clean OS install, test before you do a restore and install app. If problem is gone, then you know the clean OS works. The next question will be if the problem returns when you restore or add apps.

    Is it Business content infoarea, for me also business content infoarea is not seen, but in "open query" window if u select the icon for create new query,there it will ask for the cuben here u click binaculor icon for search and type ur infocube technical name there u can get ur cube.

  • Service principal names of user are not unique; check the active directory

    Hello Experts,
    My company had set up this service principal account to use with Kerberos and I am trying to configure the authentication template using SPNEGO wizzard.  The format of the service account is not the same as SAP recommened (J2EE-SID-DOMAIN) but something like abc_de_portal.  After trying to use that account with the wizzard I am getting this error "Service principal names of user abc_de_portal are not unique; check the active directory configuration."  I am not sure what else in the AD attributes is causing the problem.  Please let me know if you have ran into similar issue and how did you corrected.  Points will be rewarded of course.

      SPN of the service user for kerberos has to be unique as you would have made out from the message . There seems to be
    someother user having the SPN as yours.
    You would have to find the other AD user with the same SPN as yours and then de register that with
    setspn u2013d <SPN> Username
    Then this error should not come up after that .
    There was a tool called Ldifde  which you can use for this. We have our AD team do this for us. Would be better if you ask them to carry this out.

  • Subfolders are not seen by the compiler

    In an Actionscript Flash Builder 4 project, I have my main folder set to "src".  All of the files within "src" compile.  But I have several subfolders, each with several .as files, for example:
    src
      main.as
        module1
          mod1_1.as
          mod1_2.as
        module2
          mod2_1.as
          mod2_2.as
    The subfolders are seen as packages in Package Explorer.  Yet none of the files are seen by the compiler, and none of the files within compile.  I can make obvious errors in the source files in these packages, but error messages are never generated.  I thought .as files within subfolders would automatically be processed by the compiler.  Is there a setting I'm missing?

    Yes, I figured out that I had to reference all the sub packages with "import" statements.  Then the compiler sees them.  This wasn't the case when the project was in Flash CS4. Everything compiled automatically.
    I'm now having a problem with embedding fonts.  They worked fine in Flash.  I'll try a couple more things then may ask another question.

    I am facing a strange Problem. In the RWB i am not able to see the Comm Channels that i have configured in the Integration Directory. In the Adapter Monitoring also I am not able to see the Adapters with Green Status.
    I am on PI 7.0 and SP9. For a simple IDOC to File Scenario, the IDOC is getting sent but the File is not getting written. I have to monitor it for this. As the Comm Channels are not showing so I am not able to Montitor.
    Can anyone please suggest me how to do this montoring and how can I see the Comm Channels that I have created.

       Click on Check button check the SLD working fine or not.

  • Errors are not passed to the client database

    We are using Mobile Client 7.1 with MaxDB database.
    We have a problem with the synchronization. We are developing a
    notification handling application. The problematic scenario is as
    follows:
    The existed notification is modified on the client side. Then the
    client performs the synchronization and the changes are passed to the
    backend via DOE. The syncstate field of the NOTIFICATION table is 202
    (during update). BAPI Wrapper returns an error during the update (i.e.
    because the object is locked or some other reason...). The client
    performs the synchronization one more time in order to receive the
    feedback. This synchronization fails and when we check in the trace
    file what is the problem, we see there the content of the error message from the
    backend and the error "Column index 1 was not found". The syncstate field is not changed to 301 or some other value, it still remains 202. The message is stucked and it's not possible to
    do anything with it, only to recover the device.
    What is the problem?

    lists everything except Type1 directory contents.
    Meanwhile fc-cache  searches and caches /usr/share/fonts/Type1
    $ xlsfonts|grep nimbus
      shows the font.
    % xset q
    Font Path:
    /usr/share/fonts/100dpi,/usr/share/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/share/fonts/cyrillic/,/usr/share/fonts/local/,/usr/share/fonts/misc/,/usr/share/fonts/TTF/,/usr/share/fonts/Type1/,built-ins
    infinality patches installed and gsfonts package.
    What can be the problem?

    In your infifinality.conf, located probably in /etc/fonts/infinality, there should be the following entry right at the beginning:
    <!-- Ban Type-1 fonts because they render poorly -->
    <!-- Comment this out to allow all Type 1 fonts -->

    <rejectfont>
    <pattern>
    <patelt name="fontformat" >
    <string>Type 1</string>
    </patelt>

    You will need to comment it in order to make your T1 fonts visible for the system, as instructed by the author of the file.

  • Decimals not seen in the query...

    Hi Guys,
    I have a problem with the query..
    I have loaded a KF with 2 decimal places in the cube.
    But when I run a query created on the cube, the digits after the decimal place are not seen in the query.
    For e.g.  the value of the KF in the cube is 9.85...but in the query, it is seen as 9
    please let me know where do i need to make the changes.
    FYI..the unit of the KF is %. Has this got anything to do with the problem ?

    Right now my macbook pro requires an admin password before connecting to a new wifi network. In other words when a user that is not an admin tries to connect to a new wifi network the pop up displays indicating that it is locked and an admin password is required.
    Is there a way to remove this restriction so that a non admin can connect to wifi without the mac's admin password.

    You can enable / disable this option in System Preferences:
    System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab > Require administrator authorization to: Change networks

  • LAN was down ie Users are not getting ip from DHCP server after enabling DHCP snooping

    Hi All ,
    Enclosed file has network connectivity diagram.
    1. L3 vlan's ie 2,3,4,5 and 6 are configured on ACC-CR1 and ACC-CR2. 
    2.Trunk is configured between Core switches ( CR1 and CR2) and access switches .VTP mode is transparent on all switches.L2 vlans are configured on all access switches.
    3.DHCP is server is located at different location and is reachable over MPLS.
    Without enabling dhcp snooping , users connected to access switches (Sw1,sw2,sw3 and Sw4 ) are getting ip address from DHCP server without any problem and everything is working fine.
    But users connected to Sw3 and Sw4 are getting ip address from rouge DHCP server which is not pingable from any one of the switch.
    So we have configured DHCP snooping for all vlan's on CR1 , CR2 , SW3 and SW4 and "trusted uplink ports" which are connected to WAN routers from CR1 and CR2  and also "trusted uplink ports " of Sw3 and Sw4 which are connected to CR1 and CR2.
    As soon we have enabled DHCP snooping and trusted respective uplink ports , users are not getting ip address from remote DHCP server and even users connected to Sw1 and SW2 are facing same issue.
    Note : DHCP snooping is not configured on SW1 and SW2.
    Why users are not getting ip address from remote DHCP server as soon as we enabled dhcp snooping on Core switches and two access switches ie sw3 and sw4 ? what could have caused DHCP packets to be dropped ? Any idea would be appreciated .

    as you say: " HSRP is configured between CR1 and CR2 and Vlans are active on CR1" does it mean there are L3 intrefaces configured in each VLAN on your CR switches and ip hepler-address pointing to the remote DHCP server is configured on each of them?
    I know it's difficult in a productive environment but IMHO you need to find out where are the DHCP offers dropped.
    Either by enabling DHCP debugging or by capturing packets via Wireshark, e.g.

    I used Colormunkie Photo to create an .ICM file for printer calibration.   When that failed I tried changing the suffix to .ICC.  Under neither circumstance did LR4.2 display the file in the menu to select printer profile.  There were several display files with both suffixes but no printer files at all.  I tried three times with no success and cannot think of what else to try. The first two were the same.  I varied the file creation name suffix in the third.  Help will be appreciated. My OS is Win 7 ultimate SP1  Printer is HP 2550L laserjet.

    Glad you found your answer, Colormunki is smart enough to figure out the color space for the printer as I found out - But for quality work the latest generation of inkjet printers from Epson and Canon are hard to beat, and compared to a laserjet the quality is like night and day. The other benefit of changing up to an inkjet printer is the choice of papers available which you could not put through a laserjet.
    I had a colleague that tried printing on Photoglossy paper through his color laser and it fried the fuser, and HP, while they replaced the fuser unit under warranty, made it very clear that that was a daft thing to do.
    So if I were in your position I would go with an inkjet and you will then enjoy the benefits of better quality output, better paper choices and with your Colormunki be able to make custom profiles that will work in LR

    Because Report Builder in the Report Manager is a ClickOnce application, the error message means that one or more of the files listed in the application manifest cannot be found on the server, so the application cannot be started. Based on my research, frequently
    this means that the application is somehow corrupted, or that the ClickOnce store is corrupted.
    To fix this issue, we can try to refer to the following steps:
    If Report Builder is corrupted, we can update the Reporting Services to repair this.
    Check that the Report Builder application is existing
        Open the Report Server folder. By default, the folder is located in: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.<X>\Reporting Services\ReportServer\ReportBuilder
        Make sure the file "ReportBuilder.application" is existing in the folder mentioned above.
    If it is existing, please use the following URL to access the Report Builder directly:
    http://<server>/ReportServer/ReportBuilder/ReportBuilder.application
    And this issue can also be caused by browser. Because not all report functionality is supported by all browsers in Reporting Services. So please use IE browser to start Report Builder to try it again.
