Enablement of Store Business Document (Drag and Drop Documents)

Hi All,
When creating a an attachment on FD32 ->Click on Services for this Object->Create popup ->Store business document is not letting me store the document.
Does anyone know how to enable this function please?

Is there an error being thrown when this happens?
I have seen some cases where this issue is resolved by performing the following:
- Start transaction SE16 and enter the table name as TOAEX.
- Click on the menu option TABLE -> CREATE ENTRIES.
- Create the following entry:
EXIT_ID = BORLENGTHOBID
ACTIVE = X
- Save the entries.
So I guess the first step would be to check this entry exists and if not, try creating it to see if it helps.

The best way to do this so that it is easy for your end users is to:
Step 1
Create a drag and drop folder location for SharePoint Online e-mails
1.       Go to your SharePoint Online shared documents location
2.       Create the folder structure that you want for your e-mail storage
3.       Click on your top folder
4.       Click on Actions
5.       Open with Windows Explorer
6.       In the address bar at the top of the Explorer Window copy the address
Step 2
Go to Start, Computer
1.       Click on Map Network Drive
2.       Paste the address copied above into the Folder box
3.       Check Reconnect at logon
4.       Take note of the drive letter given or choose a drive letter
*note these instructions are for Windows 7 – you can search help for Map Network Drive for the OS you are using
Step 3
Open Notepad
1.       Type in the following:
“explorer z:” (leave out the quotation marks and enter the drive letter in step 2
2.       Click File
3.       Click Save As
4.       File name OpenEmail.bat
·         Note the file name does not matter but the .bat has to be there
·         Save to the Desktop
When a user wants to open the SharePoint location that stores e-mail they double click on OpenEmail.bat and it will open in an Explorer view which will allow for e-mails to drag and drop from Outlook into the folder.

How can I disable drag and drop feature for a document library? Do I have an option to disable it from the SharePoint's feature set?
Or can I disable it using a script? If so, how?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to disable drag and drop feature for a document library.
Drag and drop in SharePoint 2013 is a feature that depends on HTML5, which requires version of browser, SharePoint by default doesn’t has feature to disable or enable this.
You can try disabling the drag and drop feature by disabling an add-on in Internet Explorer, or
using Internet Explorer 9 or lower.

Drag and Drop files from other places to universal apps(windows store)

Hi,
Is there a possiblity to drag and drop a file from windows desktop or from other windows store app to my application. I tried searching samples, but it says about dragging an image with in the solution.
The best example is drag and drop files into recycle bin. Is there a way possible for modern app(instead of recycle bin), or give an user similar experince as the same.
If not windows8/windows8.1,could we expect in windows 10.
I believe if it is not possible with XAML/c#, the same holds good for HTML5/JS

How do I enable text drag and drop in Mail?

Simple enough question. I'm sure I had this at one time in my Mail app, but it doesn't work now, and I see nothing in Preferences to enable it. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

Just found the problem. The old Kensington Turbo Mouse I was using won't work with drag and drop. It doesn't work even when I dedicate one of the four buttons specifically to Drag. Attaching the regular mouse solves the issue.
(Though not, interestingly, with the text in InDesign, the application I'm using throughout the day).

opened into itunes for the first time since updating to 9.0.1 and found that I cannot drag and drop (unpurchased) songs from the store to library playlists. is there a solution to this beyond downgrading to previous version? thanks

I think you just use setDragEnabled(true) on both tables.

What are the main settings in access levels or profiles needs to be done ?

You can do "drag-n-drop" in the Java Report Panel. But you cannot "drag-n-drop" report objects from folder to folder which is a poor design in my humble opinion. As of Import Wizard, it is an administrator tool and should be restricted to administrators only. Making it available to developers/users is asking for trouble. It will lead to total chaos.

Enable 'Store business document' option in MIGO

We have observed that for MIGO transaction,the 'Store Business Document' option is disabled.Could you please let know how this can be enabled? We have serarched the forums,no inputs.Also,there is no indicator from the configuration side as well.Any help pointers will be very much appreciated.

Hi Vipin,
The 'Store Business Document' will only be active when an ArchiveLink document is configured against the object in question. In your case the object is BUS2081.
You can use the transaction code OWD5 to do the configuration.

Images from my i-pad, stored in i-photo, will randomly refuse a drag and drop attempt. I can move the image to the desktop, and from there to the document (mail etc.) and it will work (display image). As I mentioned, these events are random. ....Help !

When executing a drag and drop from i-photo to a document, occasional, random, images will refuse drop onto the document. The work around is to drag the offending image to the desk top, and from there to the document.
Question: What is causing these random "rebel" images to misbehave ?

Why doesn't the original document I'm dragging and dropping from one folder to another move?
What's happening is the computer is creating a duplicte of the document and placing it in the new location with a new creation date. The original document I wanted to drag and drop into a new location remains where it started as the "original" document and the new copy has this little arrow protruding up from the lower left of its icon.
At first I thought it was an alias, but it's a copy of the document I thought I was dragging and dropping.
What gives here?

That arrow indicates it is a linik to the original, though. This happens if you wish to drag files, for which you do not have permissions to do this operation, e.g. from Library or System folder. I am pretty sure you do not accomplish this operation from/to folders like Desktop or Documents; if so, there is a problem with your system.

Still no drag and drop between tabbed documents

Working with multiple documents opened at the same time is my everyday workflow and I'm sure I am not alone.
When Adobe introduced tabbed view it was finally a solution to messy multiple opened documents but they omited the biggest advantage in this workflow which is drag and drop of object from one to doc to the other.
In order to do so you have to go to Arrange button (CS5) or Window>Arrange (CS6) and choose to tile or float all documents. That is stupid and inefficient.
What we need is to grab a layer and drag it onto a another doc tab and Photoshop should switch to that tab immediately. You can drag and drop between separate Illustrator and PS files but you can't drag and drop within PS which doesn't make any sense.
Copy and paste is just as not as quick solution as drag and drop.
And while you at it why not make empty space after tabs double clickable to get open document window, kind of like when you have no file opened you can double click the gray area.

I keep tagging my agreement to this everytime I see it requested - from multiple users, including myself.
Dragging from the layers panel seems a much more logical method to me. What's really frustrating was that we had this in CS4, and it was removed in CS5 and is still absent in CS6.

Drag and drop Contact from Address Book to Pages Document on iPad

On OS X MacBook and iMac I can use Drag and drop Contact functionality from Address Book directly on a Pages document. In Pages I have setup Merge fields to merge values from my Contacts. This works great!
I would also like to use this in Pages on my iPad mini. I know Pages on iOS are different from Pages for OS X, but I wonder if there is any possibility for me to open OS X created Pages document with Merge fields on iPad's Pages and replace existing Contacts values with new one from Address Book?
It seems like Pages on iOS even don't recognise Merge fields that I have created on OS X at all.

Are you dragging directly from one application and dropping into the other? What happens if you export to vcf card then import the vcf card with the other application?

New to the MacAir. Moved documents and photos from computer to flash drive. How do I now move to Mac? And how do I drag and drop?

New to the Mac and not finding manual helpful. Did not want to move everything from my old computer so just put the phots and documents I wanted on a thumb drive but don't know how to now move them onto the computer. Something talks of drag and drop but it won't move.

Understood, ... go into FINDER at top then PREFERENCES then GENERAL tab
then check "hard disks" and "external disks"
THIS WILL PUT A HD ICON ON YOUR DESKTOP YOU CAN OPEN AND DRAG AND DROP FILES TO (or from)
THEN verify the format of your external HD
go to DISK UTILITY and verify what it says your HD is formatted as under the "ERASE" tab
HFS+ above is the "mac format" however do NOT erase / format the HD, since this will erase it.....UNLESS you want to do this
Format (erase) it in "mac osx Extended journaled"
AFTER THIS YOU CAN DRAG AND DROP FILES AS YOU LIKE

For case A, create insp plan with usage "1- production" If you have one IP with this usage for given material then system will assign Plan to lot automatically. In your case for second plan update usage as 1.
For case B, system should assign 1st plan make sure for both plan udage is correct. for 1st plan usage should be 5 while 2nd plan usage should be 1. Now if your 1st have status 4 and key date before lot date then system will assign plan auto.
