Enabling browsing web services

I am not able to locate the oracle.bi.enterprise map in the domain bifoundation_domain in OBIEE 11g. How do i do the following:
+"To enable browsing for Web services, you must go to Oracle Enterprise Manager,+
+access the oracle.bi.enterprise map, which is located on the bifoundation_domain, and+
+manually add the "wsil.browsing" credential to the credential store. This key holds the+
+user ID and password for the valid user defined in the identity store."+
If this is not the correct forum for this question do let me know.

if you dont have it then you just need to create one with the name oracle.bi.enterprise map by clicking on create map and then follow the instructions as adding the wlis.browsing with the valid credentials

  • Cannot enable HP Web Services: "Connection error. Check Internet connection."

    Hello,
I have a problem with LaserJet setup using Wi-Fi network from windows 7 and 8. The problem as far as I understand is due to inaccessible HP Web Services.
    Details:
1, The printer works good by USB.
    2. The printer is correctly configured to use Wi-Fi router with right password.
    3. It can be successfully ping'ed from Windows
    4. In Web browser I can enter on printer's IP
(Serial Numbers are hidden as you recommend, firmware updated)
    4. But when I try to Enable HP Web Services, an error message appears:
which is strange, because the printer is connected to the same router as the computers and other devices  with automatic configuration (and internet is available without any proxy when I am typing this message):
Please help to resolve this issue.
    Thanks,
    Fedor

    Thanks for clarifying Fedor,
HP Web Services are not related to the pritner installation over the local network, those are two different features.
However that may indicate a nework issue.
First try running the HP Print & Scan Doctor below on one of your PCs:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&lc=en&jumpid=ex_r4155/hho/ipg/ccdoc/p...
Does the tool can see your printer throught eh local network?
By clicking the top Network menu and Troubleshoot Firewall, what Firewall software is detected on your system?
Try disabling it and check if that may help.
From teh top Network menu select Show Advanced Information.
What is the IP address of your PC?
I also suggest rebooting the router by unplugging its power for a moment, then reboot the printer and try installing it again.
If the issue persists, what is your router model?
May you see any difference by connecting the printer to your router with an Ethernet cable?
Say thanks by clicking the Kudos thumb up in the post.

  • M251n can't enable hp web services

I just got an M251n printer and I have been trying to set up the wireless for hours going through all the support suggestions and none have worked.  When trying to enable the Web Services Setup I get a message of "Connection error. Check internet connection."  The connection is fine and working and the printer is connected online via ethernet and my computer is connected to the printer by USB.
I am using a Mac and have downloaded the latest driver for the printer.  One support suggestion stated that I might have outdated firmware but I can't find any firmware updates for this printer.
I am not sure what is wrong.  It's not straight forward and without the wireless function working I will have to take this printer back and buy a different brand.
    Any suggestions are welcomed.

    Hello neilthedirector,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that the HP LaserJet Pro 200 color Printer M251n will not allow you to enable the Web Services. I was able to locate a firmware update utility that you can check the printer with, if you are using Mac OS X 10.5 - 10.8.
HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility<---
    If the update is not present, or fails to resolve the issue, try applying a manual I.P address and DNS. To do this;
Enter the printer's I.P into the address bar in Safari.
    Click Networking, then IPv4 Configuration.
Set the IP Preferred Address Method to Manual.
Increase the last set of numbers by 50.
    Subnet Mask should be 255.255.255.0.
Default Gateway will be your router's I.P address.
Click Network Identification on the left.
Under DNS Primary (IPv4) enter 209.244.0.3 and for Secondary (IPv4) enter 209.244.0.4.
Click Apply and then power the printer off and then on.
Try now to enable the Web Services.

  • P1102w cannot enable "HP WEB SERVICES" for sprintConnection error" check

I have a new printer which works fine for wifi printing but I'd like to use web printing which I beleive is called eprint.
I printed the configuration page and my firmware is 20120814
I cannot see were my printers email address is.
I navigated to the printers url and clicked on the tab "hp web services" and clicked on the green button enable but I keep getting the following error message.
    "connection error: check internet connection"
From the router I can see that both the laptop and printer are on the same network 192.168.0.??
Can you please advise I suspect I have a fault on the printer but cannot be certain what can I do, I have updated the software on my mac which is running mavericks 10.9.2 , I've even hit the update software and there is no further updates available whch should mean I have the latest software and firmware for the printer.
Please advise how I may overcome the error when there clearly is no network issue as I can get to the printer to print and go to its web pages without any issues at all?

    Hi  paz_egap,
Thank you for the thorough response, I appreciate it.
Since you have set a static ip with manual DNS servers and you are still cannot enabled the web services is the firmware up-to-date on the printer.  Please follow the steps in Getting the Firmware and Product Updates.  Once the firmware is current and the printer still has its manual ip address and manual DNS servers you should be okay to enabled the web services on the printer.
If you are still having an issue after completing the above please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region.  If you live outside the USA/Canada region please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

  • Help! Getting "Connection error Check connection" when trying to enable HP Web Services on M1536DNF

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to enable HP Web Services on HP LaserJet Pro M1536DNF model?  Everything works fine and shows it's connected to the network but I cannot enable HP Web Services.  It says "Connection error Check connection" I've tried restarting everything; network, printer, computer.  I've also updated firmware to latest version as well.

    Hi snapry,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are getting an unable to connect message when trying to enable the web services for your Laserjet CP1025nw printer.
Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer.  The instructions can be found in the document Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. There is a Windows section and a Mac section.  In the Windows section you will find the instructions in the sub-section titled “Solution three: Assign the printer a static IP address”. For Mac the applicable sub-section is titled “Solution two: Assign the printer a static IP address”.  When entering the information for the Manual Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.8.8 and for the Alternate Preferred DNS server please use 8.8.4.4.  These are Google’s DNS servers.
After setting the manual IP address and manual DNS servers, you should have no problems enabling the web services.

    Hi GayleneC,
Thank you for the update and additional information.  I truly appreciate it.
You indicated that you tried to update the firmware, I’m wondering since the printer isn’t connecting to web services that it might not have connected to check for firmware updates.  I’ve included two links, one is for the Windows version of the HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility the other is for the Mac version of the HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility. Please choose the one for your operating system and let’s try and update the firmware without using the front panel of the printer.
After running the firmware update utility, please disable the IPv6 wireless through the embedded web server.  Please follow the steps below:
To open the HP Embedded Web Server, type the product IP address into the address line of a Web browser. When it opens it should look like the screen shot below.
Please click on the ‘Network’ tab as highlighted in the screen shot above.
Please click on ‘Advanced’ in the left hand side menu as shown above. Please uncheck IPv6 and click on ‘Apply’.
Please click on the ‘HP Web Services’ tab.
Please click on the ‘Enable’ button. The Web Services information sheet should print.

  • Cannot enable ePrint Web Services - get internet connection error for HP LaserJet 1102W

I have a HP laptop running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  We just changed over to Comcast internet service from AT&T where my HP LaserJet 1102W was set up for ePrint.  After several hours, I was finally able to add the 1102W printer to the Comcast network, access the Embedded Web Server tool and print wirelessly but I cannot set up ePrint.  I have deleted the printer but cannot get it to connect to Web Services.  I keep on getting:  Connection Error. Check Internet Connection but again, I can print wirelessly successfully to the printer but would like to be able to set it back up for ePrint.  My Comcast router is an Arris TG862.
I have updated the firmware and used the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool but still am not able to get the ePrint Web Services to connect.  Here is the information from the Networking page of the EWS:

    Hi Surf1981,
I understand that you're not able to enable web services on your printer.  I would try steps listed below.
    1. Open an internet browser type printer's IP address.
    2. Should bring you to the printer's status page.
    3. Select networking tab at the top.
    4. Left hand side select Network Identification.
    5. Under DNS address Configuration select Manual DNS Server.
    6. For Preferred enter 8.8.8.8
    7. For Alternate enter 8.8.4.4
    8. Select apply. You might get a warning saying this could interrupt connection that's fine.
    9. Turn printer off for about 30 seconds then try again.

  • Session enabled RFC Web Service Fails & WSDL has enablesession=false

    Please help  Thanks in Advance
A stateful Webservice with 2 RFCs, consumed by a .NET application fails and the cause seems to be because of statelessness.

to get this working you need to enable some services in transaction SICF
to know a complete list of all services to be enabled check oss note number 517484
particularly these nodes should be active
    /default_host/sap/bc/soap/wsdl and
    /default_host/sap/bc/soap/wsdl11
(to get the error thrown by the server instead of page cannot be found, in your browser go to tools->internet options->advanced and uncheck the check box "show friendly error messages" and run the wsdl button again)

  • Cant enable ePrint web services for Color LaserJet M551

    Hi,
I've read all posts in this forum about the ePrint web services enabling issue and tried out all suggestions with no luck.
    Here is the situation:
The printer works fine locally. I can print without problem.
    The printer is wired.
All ports in my router are open for outbound connections, including UDP.
Using communication logs in my router I can see that the printer can resolve the DNS-names using either my ISP DNS-server or the suggested 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Using nslookup shows "registration-pro-site1print.houston.hp.com" resolves to 15.240.60.111 and "registration-pro-site2print.houston.hp.com" resolves to 15.201.224.79.
This indicates that the printer can indeed resolve the addresses. The logs also reveils that the printer communicates with the servers (connection established and data transferred) over https (probably the web service) but still after some minutes the enabling process times out.
I've tried this enabling procedure for several days now so my believe is that the registration servers should have worked some time during that period.
    I'm frustrated
    ....even more frustrated
    what am I doing wrong?

  • Cannot enable ePrint/Web Services, HP LaserJet CP1525nw

I am trying to follow HP's instructions for enabling ePrint and Web Services for my LaserJet CP1525nw.  I printed the Config Report, got the printer's IP address and entered it into a brower as instructed.  It does pull up summary page, but there is no "HP Web Services" tab as indicated in all of the HP instructions I can find - only four tabs that read: Status, System, Print, Networking.
I have looked at all sub-menus under each of these tabs, and cannot find anything that even resembles a "Web Services" option.
Can somebody please help?  Or is there another way to find the printer's email address so that I can register and use ePrint for my iPhone and iPad?
From what I have been able to find on HP Support, the Airprint software driver(s) are not yet availble for this LaserJet model - or are they?

There is firmware to enable AirPrint in the HP LaserJet CP1525nw.
Go to the support page for this printer:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=219&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=40529...
and pick the type of desktop computer you are using. On the resulting page you will see a choice to download a firmware updated that you can run on your computer to update your printer.
