Enabling Global CDP for AP's

Recently I ran into an unexplainable issue when I turned on CDP on our 2 WiSM's. I wanted to set up the switchport tracing feature and from what I understand, cdp is necessary to use this feature. On the 2 WiSM's, I enabled CDP under wireless>access points>Global Configuration and I click the check box to enable CDP. Using WCS, I audited the AP's and verified that they all have CDP enabled. After a few days, I noticed AP's were dropping connection with the WiSM's, the alarms said "The Access Point is not able to draw enough power." I ssh'd into one of the problematic AP's and cleared the private config. After attempting a reset configuration, the device continued to be stuck in a boot loop (I had a continuous ping that would reply for 15 pings, then drop 15 over and over).
Ultimately, I ended up disabling CDP and these AP's started working again. It seems from what I noticed that this issue only happened on Cisco 1242 access points. I tried to research to see if anyone else has had this issue, but my efforts did not yield any resolution.
Has anyone run into this issue or can explain why CDP might cause this issue?

These are the switches that we are using to power the AP's
WS-C3560-48PS
WS-C3550-24PWR-SMI
I checked the inline power for each port and the AP's seem to be pulling sufficient power.

One of the problematic AP's is plugged into a non-PoE 2960 and is using a power injector.

    The special nature of '&' as delimiter is what prompts the browser to run the script. In fact, by default, browsers will run any Javascript that you place in the query-string. Run this, for example

    But what reason will I say if they are asking me why javascript alert is coming then.
    As you have just seen, the <script> tag cannot come in. The alert occurs at the browser - that is, at the client - but Coldfusion runs at the server. Communication between client and server is by means of the URL variables that the client sends to the server. For the attack to be effective, it has to be sent in the form
    sneakyVar=<script>alert(1)</script>
    That is not the case here.

    In a prior version of Firefox I found a website somewhere that told me what to do to enable spell checking for text boxes that are just one line. I got used to being able to send an e-mail with a Subject Line that didn't have a misspelling. Now it doesn't work. Please tell me how I can enable that again. I am on a Mac using Firefox 6.0.2.     I am trying to figure out how to enable remote debugging for a session other than the one I am currently using.
    More specifically, we have an application that is making database calls to Oracle 11gR2. Something is causing an exception during this invocation. My system is currently not set up to recompile said application, so I can't just add the debug call to the code and recompile. Therefore I would like to be able to log into the database (as sys, if necessary) and invoke dbms_debug_jdwp.connect_tcp on the desired session.
    The docs indicate that I should be able to do so:

    Interesting deduction, that would be very useful indeed. I hate recompiling just to add the debug call, and it can't be done in our production environment. But it seems unlikely to me it would be implemented this way.
    I would cross-post this in the SQL AND PL/SQL forum though, as this is really a database issue, not with the SQL Developer tool. Do add the links to the other posts in each.

    Sorry, I don't believe that you have had a good look at the Foundation framework. I'll now hold your hand while we go through the basics.

    The default values are
    Em-base : 16px
    Row width: 62.5em (62.5em x 16px = 1000px)
    Columns per row: 12
    These and other default values can be changed. The fact of the matter is that if you stipulate a section width of 2 or 3 or 12 columns, the widths will automatically be calculated for you.
    In your case, if you want 7 columns, all you need to do is change the number of columns per row and the rest is done for you.

    Did you create the weblogic domain with the Oracle Webcenter Spaces option selected? This should install the relevant libraries into the domain that you will need to deploy your application. My experience is based off WC 11.1.1.0. If you haven't, you can extend your domain by re-running the Domain Config Wizard again (WLS_HOME/common/bin/config.sh)

  • Can't enable disk use for restored shuffle

    My shuffle stopped playing music in March. I continued using it as a removable disk. I tried the restore utility and it worked - now my shuffle plays music again. However the latest iTunes (7.0.1 and 7.0.2) has no checkbox to enable disk use for when the Shuffle is connected. The checkbox is there for a 5G iPod but not for the Shuffle.
    So - now it works as an iPod but no longer works as a disk. What is going on here? How can I enable disk use?

    iTunes 7.0.2 is still displaying that checkbox for both of our local Shuffles.
    Perhaps you just need to scroll down to find it. If it's actually not there then I'd have to think that this is an iTunes question, not an iPod one, and might be better placed in those forums.

    Using Acrobat Pro 8.3.0, I "Enabled Usage Rights for Adobe Reader" for a fillable form created in LiveCycle Designer 8.0.  The following error message occurs when opening this form in Reader X:
    "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader.  The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available.  Please contact the author for the original version of this document."
    The form has not been changed and as mentioned, I am the author.  Any solutions to allow user in Reader X to fill-in form?  Do I need to upgrade to Acrobat Pro X?

    I am having same problem with a 2011 year tax PDF fill in form I JUST got from IRS website.  The actual form is the 2011 8829.
    I can not open the PDF from the web browser or if I save it to my local drive. 
    I have not been able to open it at all ... thus I have made NO changes.
    I am running Windows 7 64 bit, Adobe Reader X version 10.1.4.
    After trying to open the doc (nothing displays) I go to properties, and it says ...

  • Setting a global margin for any documents to print

    Hello,
    On a Mac running OS X, I have a ruby/java script allowing me to open a Microsoft Word document and print it as a PDF (and extra stuffs, but that's not part of the problem). During the conversion from Word to PDF for most of my documents I get a dialog saying 'A footer of section X is outside of the printable area of the page...'. What I would like to do is not to write a script to click 'yes' when a dialog open but to try to set the default margin for printing to 0. In the 'page setup', there is an option to create customized 'paper size', with a giving width, height and margins (that I can set to 0). By default the paper size is selecting A4, but I would like to find a way to set this paper size as a default to my customized paper size for any document opened on Microsoft Word or printed as PDF!  If I select manually the customized paper size after I open the document on Word, I can print it without having the dialog.
    So my question is to know if there is a way to set a global margin for printing to 0 (let me know if I need to use Acrobat Pro, Distiller etc.), whatever the way is.

    There is nothing specific with the SDK that you have to print a marketing document such as a Sales Order, PO, etc.  What you may want to look at in the 2005A SDK is the "PrintEvent" object.  This event lets you catch a print event in the SAP Business One application, get the relevant data that is sent to the printer and then edit it using a third-party editing tool such as Crystal Reports. The PrintEvent event provides an exit point that allows you to integrate third-party tools for reporting and document editing.

    By default Access Control Lists (ACLs) are enabled on Leopard Server (10.5). The situation was different on Tiger Server (10.4) as you had to enable ACLs for each mounted volume.
    To disable ACLs on Leopard Server you have to use the command line:
    sudo fsaclctl -p path -d disable
    to disable and to enable:
    sudo fsaclctl -p path -d enable
    As with 10.4 you its a good idea to restart the server after disabling or enabling ACLs, otherwise ACLs won't take. Strictly speaking this should only be true of the Boot volume although in my view its worth doing it for any other mounted volume you are going to be using for sharing.
    To display ACL status for all mounted volumes issue this command:
    fsaclctl -a
    for a specific volume its:
    fsaclctl -p path
    where path is the name of the volume - you can drag drop the desired volume into the terminal window to show its full path. For example you could have:
    fsaclctl -p /
    / is terminal shorthand for the boot volume. Regardless of how you do it you should see something like this:
    Access control lists are supported on /Volumes/Data HD

    You can only set up a Gmail account as an Exchange account if you have a paid account. Google dropped Exchange support for free accounts two years ago. That link is just a bit outdated.
