Enabling Sharing on I Mac Yosemite Version 10.10

Hello. I recently downloaded and installed Yosemite Version 10.10 on my I Mac. When I click on SHARE, it comes up no service. Can you give me instructions on how to ENABLE SHARE on this I Mac. Thanking you in advance Pete E from Tappen

Hi Thanks for your answer. I checked preferences and file sharing is enabled
.Before i downloaded Yosemite, I was able to share webpages from Safari with others, by clicking SHARE under File and sending the webpage by E mail. Now when I click SHARE , it comes up as NO SERVICE.
Really ,all I need to do is figure out how to send Webpages to others, from the new Yosemite operating system.Thanks for your help. Pete from Tappen

The latest version of Adobe Contribute isn't compatible with the latest Mac OS so an older version wouldn't be either.

Internet sharing issue on Mac os version 10.9.1

I am facing problem with internet sharing(WI-FI) , previously it was worrking fine till yesterday(09 March 2014) , but i deleted one file"com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist " from location" /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist" because i can not see the home sharing option in my connected ipad and iphone.
after that internet was completely stopped in iMac. since i had a backup of this file in my time machine ,i took that file and place into the correct location (note : it was old file). Now the problem starts internet sharing was completely stopped even i can not browse in my ipad(i use to connect ipad with shaing network) ,After reading an artical to solve this issue i delete another file from "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.nat.plist" then i restart the system ,now internet sharing is not working at all , devices are connected with shared network but its not working (please excuse for my english). please help me to solve this issue. please see the attachned log for more detail:

Hello All ,
I have solved this issue by replace the file "/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist". i took this file form one of my friend and place to the original location and restart the system and it works perfectly.
Here i have also solved the internet home sharing , I just provided the DSN IP in WIFI and start the internet sharing all the devices get connected properly.

Skype message / text box disappears / does not show in Mac Yosemite version

After making a call the text box disappears. No amount of scrolling or clicking makes it appear again. I saw a reply from a Skype employee three weeks ago saying the development team is aware of it and is working on a fix. But it still keeps on happening over and over. Only way I've found to fix it (as have other community members) is to restart the program.

Having the same issue, it would be nice to have this fixed ASAP.

Acrobat XI Actions not working with Mac Yosemite?

We are witnessing an apparent bug with Acrobat XI and Yosemite when creating or importing Actions; specifically they do not appear in the Actions panel!
All latest updates (as of Nov. 6, 2014) have been installed; can anyone else kindly confirm this bug please?

I try to reproduce your action issue in Mac Yosemite, but I can’t reproduce your issue in our end.
I try the problem in Acrobat 11.0.10 in Mac Yosemite version i 14A_389.
I need the following information:
1. Can you send me your action sequence file? How do you create this sequence file, does it work before?
2. What is your Mac Yosemite version, my Mac Yosemite version is 14A_389, you can find this from “About This Mac” menu.
3. What is your Acrobat version, 11.x or 10.x, you can find this from “Acrobat/About Acrobat” menu

On 10.6.8 you can update to 9.2.3.
You really need to rethink you're computing habits. Using a computer without a back up is like driving without a safety belt. Updating the OS and applications without one is like driving blindfolded and drunk without a safety belt...
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

I can not select logical and physical relations in DataModeler version 4.1.0.866 Build 866 on Mac Yosemite 10.10.1 (Java SDK 1.8). DataModeler does not allow me to select them. I mean the next scenario: I create two entities (or tables) and add a logical (or physical) relation between them. After this I can not select the relation in diagram window. Meantime I still can select the relation in browser window.
Could you please suggest me is it a bug (maybe a platform specific problem) or did I miss something in software options?
I found a topic about the same issue. It describes the same problem, though the topic is without an answer and was archived.

Thank you for the good hint about "default line width and colour".
Meantime the option does not resolve the problem in my case.
According to your suggestion I set maximal width for relation lines and I still can not pick (select) it in diagram window.
I checked behaviour of DataModeler with next display resolutions on MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) in System preferences Displays: "Best for display"; Scaled "More Space", "Larger Text", and "Best (Retina)"... And the problem takes place in all these cases.
Please see attached image - this is how I see the relation line. And I still can hit it!
If I use the DataModler on a casual external monitor, the problem is absent (no matter what a width is). Also I believe the problem takes place only on mac retina displays. Therefore I think this is a platform specific bug.
I do understand a root cause of the problem may have no direct relation with Oracle DataModeler source code.

I had the same problem earlier today. Sign out of your account for CC in the Preferences panel, close the CC toolbar app. Then sign back in, and the download process might begin in earnest for you. Took me SIX HOURS to download this pig, and now it crashes continually. This software is not ready for release based on today's experience. Hopefully you will at least be able to get to the level of frustration I have arrived at, beyond the level of frustration you are currently stuck at trying to get it to work.I am on the same OS. Too bad Apple abandoned a pro level competitor to LR. Hopefully in the near future they will update Photos so that it competes well with LR.
