Enabling Telnet on the SG200-50FP

I connot connect to SG200-50FP out of the box using Telnet. Web interface works ok, How do I enable Telnet on the switch?

I believe you can achieve this by first configuring Port 2 under Vlan Management -> Interface Settings and place it into the correct Vlan.
Then select Port 2 from the same screen after editing the Vlan, click "Copy settings" and enter "3-24" as the interface range.

Figured it out finally...
You have to su to root, then run "launchctl" and then the prompt changes. Use the load command with the -F switch to force enable the disabled service.

Enabling telnet and ftp on M4000 wth solaris 10

please i need help i have installed solaris 10 on M4000 and i have enabled telnet in /etc/default/logins and ftp in ftpusers but i am not able to telnet and ftp??
i did some research and i found that it may be the firewall???

Have you tried connecting from another host on the same subnet as this problematic system or are you coming from another subnet? You may have a software firewall installed. Sun were touting SunScreen up until Sol10:

You could also try running nmap from another host, see if any other ports are available although check you're not violating any security policies beforehand.

Apple says it can't be used to connect to the computer:

Enable/disable/defaulting the radio button in tabular Form

Hi friends,
I have one radio button column in my tabular form with 3 values for it.
<li>FC
<li>BC
<li>EC
I need to enable/disable the radio buttons according to the position of the user.
If the position of the user is CEO means,
then FC radio button has to be checked defaultly and also for him he needs to have BC and EC radio buttons to be enabled.
If the position of the user is between(1-4) grades means,
then FC radio button has to be disabled, but BC radio button has to be checked defaultly and also for him he needs to have EC radio buttons to be enabled.
If the position of the user is between(4-6) grades means,
then FC, BC radio button has to be disabled, but EC radio button has to be checked defaultly.
How i can achieve this radio button enabling/disabling and defaulting it dynamically according to the user.
Where i need to specify this kind of restriction inorder to work for me in my application.

no, when using facetime you log in with the apple id you want people to reach you at, so unless you both agree to share one apple id for all the facetime you do, it will be necessary for you to logout and login each time you use the application.

More than likely its a hardware issue, I have never encountered such a problem and best bet is to just go get it replaced. If you have insurance on your device apple will replace it as long as there was no water damage, if you dont have insurance they will charge $200 more or less. Hope you get it fixed

Enable and Disable the file paths

Hai i have two file paths one logical file path and other is physical file path.
I took two radio buttons.
How can i enable and disable the file paths by using these radio buttons.
When i select the 1st radio button then 1st file path is in enable and second file path in disable mode similarly for the second radio button also.

In Lion OS X the IR Control is no longer in Sistem preferences any ideas where is the option to enable or disable the IR??

Try resetting your PRAM and SMC to see if the IR receiver shows up after doing this.
Do you see the "IR Receiver" in the "USB" section of the "System Information" utility (previously "System Profiler")?

Option missing for the iPod to enable or disable the album artwork.

I have a 5th Gen iPod and iTunes 10.5.1. I did a restored on the iPod to try and solve a locking up/freezing problem.
After the restire none of my album artwork got included in the restore. Additionally I don't have the option for the iPod to enable or disable the album artwork.
I plug in the iPod and select that iPod then select Music. No matter what options I choose (Sync all of Library, Sync Playlists, etc.) I don't have the option to enable album artwork.
Has anyone else seen this issue?
I also have a second 5th gen (but bigger) iPod and older Nano, iPhone and iPad and this option does not show up for any of these devices however, all of those show the artwork.
What happened to the option to enable or disable artwork and how do I get my artwork back on my iPod?

That option was removed as of iTunes version 9. Somebody else recently had this issue with a similar model iPod and came to discover that the HD was simply going bad.

For enabling and disabiling any field on the view, there is only procedure.
1. Make an attribute of type 'ABAP_BOOL' in the context.
2. Bind the enable property of the UI element to this attribute.
3. Enable or Disable the UI element in the code.
So for your question you can follow :
1. Make an attribute 'ENABLE' in the context node bound to the table. Type ABAP BOOL.
2. Bind 'ENABLE' property of the desired input field with this attribute.
3. In WDDOMODIFYVIEW check your condition and based on the condition use set_attribute method of if_wd_context_node to change the value to 00 - None or 01 - Enabled.

I usually use the OS connection option. So as you suggest, connect without the ISP connection software. Doing so does not by-pass the sudo command being active in Activity Monitor however.
On reading my post I see my failure to link the concerns of the laptop purchase with the sudo and modem. My thought here is of an intersection of known vulnerability with this widely used modem/software (via permanent sudo process activated) and that vulnerability then being known and utilised by another party(s).
I am pursuing the issue in part with consideration to a broader possible issue of vulnerability.

Yes you will have to create a Z function module.
Instead of declaring the function module as normal function module in the attributes tab, mention it as remote function module.
Also when giving import and export parameters select the pass value check box.
This might solve your query.

Enabling and disabling the button in the multi record block

i am using
Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.24.1 (Production)
Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
i have a multi record block each block contains a button(button is to approve the record in terms of changing the status)
i have the items like date,remarks and button
the button should be enabled if the remarks is not null otherwise it should be disabled.
for this in pre-record trigger i have written

      set_item_property('button',enabled,property_false);
end if;what problem is enable and disable is impacting on all the buttons in the block. in other words if first record's remarks is null then all the records button is disabled. if first record's remarks column is not null then all the records of the button column is enabled.
i have to make enable and disable the button for the corresponding record.that means if first record's remarks column is not null then only first records button should be enabled others should be disabled.

You need to set the No. of items displayed to 1 as Ammad had said, additionally you can set the X and Y Position (Just Y will do and having fixed X) of the button depending upon the current record.
