Encore and BD-Live
Hey all,
I tried search the knowledge base for information on this, but was unsuccessful in finding any pertinent information. Apologies if this has already been discussed.
I'm looking at authoring some Blue-Ray projects and was interested in providing supplementary information on the web for these discs via BD-Live.
Does Adobe Encore support authoring BD-Live? I imagine the web content would be developed using standard web technologies - but how do I incorporate these as online interfaces for a BD-Live disc?
If anyone can share some information on authoring for BD-Live (especially in Encore) I'd be very appreciative.

This requires AACS & the proprietary BD DRM usage.
Very expensive.
SIte licenses required for the authoring house & massive "Per Title" AACS fees payable by the content owners as well.

if i bought my ipod touch 32gb in germany where the voltage is 220v and i live in America where the voltage is 110, i will have to wait to get to my home to charge it for first time or I can charge it here and change the voltage of the battery in America?

Most wall chargers are dual voltage (110- 220 volts) and only require a plug adopter. Check the wall charger to see if yours is. -
I have a new Samsung phone and I live in CT. Last month they charged me $38 on my bill for the sales tax for the new phone which was $600. I'm paying for the phone itself over 20 installments of $30 each. Now again I'm getting that same $38 charge. I can't believe that the monthly CT tax is higher than the payment for the phone itself. Does this make sense. Last time I spoke with them on the phone it was for 1 1/4 hours for something simple. I don't want to call unless I need to. The salesman told me nothing about any of this. Thank you for any help you can offer.
The bill from last month states:
CT state sales tax** $38.10

The current bill says the same.
Actually, now I'm realizing that last month's bill stated I was making the first payment toward the phone. Now this month also says it's the first payment toward the phone when it's really the second. -
Do I need to re-install the WHOLE suite or can I just install just Encore and Premier Pro?????
I'm having a problem with my Encore and Premier Pro software. I have the Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio Premium CS5.1. Encore will not allow me to burn DVDS. I'm getting an 52102 error...won't allow it to finish writing...ALSO Premier Pro stops after capturing about 5 or 10 minutes of video and freezes...do I need to re-install my software??? and if I do... do I need to install the WHOLE suite or can I just install just Encore and Premier Pro????? I can burn and image file and it burns DVDs on my old Corel software so I know its not the burner or the DVDs I'm using..I am in the middle of a big project for kids at school really need to figure this out...not getting anywhere online. Can anyone help??? Has anyone had this problem? Hope I'm posting this to right place. THANKS!
I haven't had 52102 error, but seen it discussed. Here are a couple of links

Burning the iso file to the dvd may not be the same process as burning directly from Encore to dvd, and so may not exhibit the same error, if any. See response 1 in the first link.

Can't run (Media Encoder or Encore) and Premiere Pro
I finished a sequence, started up Media Encoder, then began editing a new sequence with Premierer.
The result was that after a while, Media Encoder "Not Responding".
I started Media Encoder again and this time I left the room to watch TV.
Media Encoder built the AVI file correctly.
Also Encore died when I tried to use Premiere at the same time.
Is that the rule with CS4 applications?Harm
In EN once I click on the Build button to begin building a DVD it will take more than 30 minutes before the DVD comes out.
In the mean time I would like to fire up PR to start editing some other project.
If that is not something I can do then I can use my KVM switch to go to my old PC and produce artwork for the DVD case.
On another topic, I am in the process of making a BluRay DVD with Encore and when I clicked on the Preview button, instead of getting the neat little window that allows me to run a simulation of the DVD menu, I got a huge version of that menu that I could not manuver to get to the controller buttons. -
I have an iPhone 6 and Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2014 and I live in Dubai, I bought my macbook from Canada and iPhone from UAE so it doesn't have FaceTime but i should be able to get calls on my mac right?
If you set your imessage off on your phone it will only turn it off on your phone i think I don't think it effects your mac. I'm not 100% sure on this though.
If you want to remove imessages from your mac - Open iMessage, go to Messages top left, and then select Preferences. Select "Accounts" and then simply "Sign out" That should do it. -

Does it have a line in and how do you monitor sound?
Will I need adaptors and an interface?
Also, I am guessing as Logic only runs on MAC surely then they would not the best spec to recommend to run it?
I see all the upgrades as additional memory or a faster process?
Is a retina screen necessary, and why flash based storage against a 1TB hard drive, and a i5 instead of an i7
The main reason for this purchase is to play live and use backing tracks and record found sounds and make creative songs.
I hope you can provide some valuable feedback, as I am a longtime MAC user and see upgrades and changes happen regularly but the most important thing is the songs not the equipment.
I have £500 already and willing to add another 500 to 700 pounds, then software extra.Can anybody help?

The warranty of an iPhone is only valid in the country where it has been bought. You'll have to bring it back to the USA to get it serviced, Apple does not accept international shipments. Any Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store outside the USA will not service your phone, sorry.

Click "Manage My Account", sign in, and go to the Password and Security section. If you've forgotten your answers, there should be a link just under the security questions fields where you can have a reset email sent to your Rescue email address. If the link for the email doesn't appear, as can happen if you didn't set a rescue email address or (apparently) have a .Mac email address, see the user tip created by Kappy, another user here, on how to proceed:

Note that Apple has not yet released any of their producst in Iran - in fact until recently they were prohibited by US law from doing so. They have no iTunes Store in Iran and you are not allowed to use another country's iTunes Store from outside of that country, so Apple Support may not be able to do anything to help you.

I want all my devices to be on a password related internet but the double nat on my TC makes weird things happen and slow. I try bridge mode but the internet doesn't work.
You building supplied internet is a cheap service that is without proper routable addresses..
Therefore to use more than one IP you MUST have double NAT.. sorry there is no choice..
Slow that is because you are sharing internet with every other person in the building.. get your own broadband service.
Bridge will not work.. it cannot work because the building only has private IP addressing. And they only give you a single address.
You can put a password on the wireless.. go to the airport utility and put in a password.
Other than that I don't understand what password you expect.
Can I get an explanation of what bridge mode is?
No NAT.. means the TC becomes a dumb Wireless AP and switch.. works fine with a cable modem router.. or any broadband router but useless with your building system.
Can I get suggestions on what I should do to use the TC as a wireless device to spread the same wireless device my apartment is broadcasting?
Double NAT, and set your own wireless names. There is no alternative.. sorry. -

It seems there is a problem with rss feeds and ffox live bookmarks.

However I do not get the plus sign indicating there are additional items.Apple allows you to interact with iTunes U as an administrator through an XML-based web service. In particular, you're looking for the UpdateGroup web service directive:

If you send Apple an UpdateGroup directive, referring to a specific group (tab) within a course that feeds from one of your RSS servers, you're asking Apple to process the feed "now" (where "now" is defined to be "as soon as possible") as opposed to having to wait for an overnight feed refresh.
Have a look at the documentation ... if you're a little bit of a developer, it should make some sense. If not, I owe someone from Apple a favor and might give you a simpler way of using the directive ... without requiring you to write code yourself. -
