Encore CS5.1 Access Denied

I am running the program as administrator and no luck. Every time I try to build as a DVD or DVD folder I get this error. Also This Encore project was sent to Encore from Premier Pro CS5.1.
My project has about a 2 gig video and the rest is 10 slide shows with about 99 photos a piece.
Could the Access denied be from one of the files that Project is pulling from? I am at a loss. thanks.

Does that mean you are the admin, or that you are doing what it says here?

  • Purchased a Digital Download of CS5, get Access Denied message

I've just purchased a digital download of Adobe Photoshop CS5 for a Mac, and the online company has given me the links and key for the download. However, following the company's directions after downloading the Adobe Download Assistant, clicking on the link sent by the company gives me an Access Denied message:
    Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/PHSP/12/win32/Photoshop_12_LS1.exe" on this server.

Any thoughts on why my link to download CS5 doesn't work?

Well, not to state the obvious: You have been had. A company selling digital downloads of CS5 now that CS6 is out and then pointing to the trial versions? Do you need any more evidence that this is a scam? The download issues can be resolved following proper procedures as described here:

Still, probably a moot point since your serial numbers will be most likely useless...

Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache.  If it continues to fail try using a different browser.
You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

  • Access Denied when saving file - CS5 & Win7

Using Dreamweaver CS5 and Win7...  Sporatically, I will try to save my .html file and will get an error saying "access denied" to the .tmp file.  So I do a "Save As" to another file name and then the original file literally disappears (is deleted / erased) from my hard drive.  No where to be found!
Has anyone else had this experience?  Is there a work around?
    Godspeed,
    Omar

Here's the solution (as I learned from other forum posts):
    - Disable the Preview Pane in Windows 7...
    or
    - Simply "deselect" the file in Windows Explorer (thus deactivating the "Preview" of the file) and try to save it again.  The "Save As" dialog will appear and you can save it with the same name.
    What is actually happening:
When a file is selected in Windows Explorer and the Preview Pane is enabled, Windows 7 displays the file (and locks it).  If the file is also open in Dreamweaver and any modifications are made, the file is considered a temp (.tmp) file by Windows as it is already in use by the Preview Pane (and locked).  When you try to save the modified file in Dreamweaver, you get the "Access Denied" error.  If you go into Windows Explorer and deselect the file, the file will disappear (be deleted / removed) as Windows now considers it a "temp" file that is no longer being previewed. At this time (assuming you didn't close the file in Dreamweaver) you can try to save it again and a "Save As" dialog will open (since the original file was deleted).
    Hope this helps!
    Godspeed,
    Omar

  • Encore CS3/Windows XP Access Denied error...?

I'm running XP version 5.1 SP3.  I'm trying to build a project, but I keep getting the Access Denied error message.  I've read the fix for Vista, but I don't have the options listed.  This is my first time using Encore, but I know co-workers have successfully used it previously...but none of them have a clue what's going on.  Thanks

    Any Matrox involved?
Now, how are you getting your PrPro Sequences into En?
As a test, from PrPro, Export as elemental/elementary streams, i.e. one Video-only and one Audio-only file, per Sequence. For the Audio, choose PCM/WAV 48KHz 16-bit*. Import the Video-only file as a Timeline, and the WAV as an Asset. Drag the Audio from the Project Panel to the appropriate Timeline. Do you get Audio?
    Good luck,
    Hunt
    * If you have a DD 5.1 SS Master Audio Track in PrPro, you will then need to Export that with the SurCode DD 5.1 SS encoder plug-in, as an AC3 file.

  • "Access Denied" DVD DL Encores CS4 in Win7 64b

Hello, I am new to this forum, so please bear with me on this. I, like others, have bounced off the "access denied" error when burning dvd+r dl in Encore CS-4. I did attempt the fix listed for vista, but I am using Win7 and have not been able to get it to work. Any solutions. Much appreciated. CR

I, too, am running into this problem. My files were on an external drive and so I had hoped this was the pro
blem but I just transfered to an internal SATA and re-created the project and I am still getting this error.
I would prefer to not have to use yet another program to create my DL DVD as Encore is supposed to be able to support this.
I am running win7 64b OS as an administrator and have all the latest CS4 updates. Help!

  • Encore Notification: Access Denied

    CS4 Encore
The project is checked, no problems
    First DVD went fine
2nd DVD gets access denied notice after transcoding before burn.
    Failed completed.
    Brand new hard drive
I've disabled the second disc drive.
    Disabled security
    Disconnected the internet
Shrank the project to fit DVD

    Thank you Raj,
Right now we are muscling through these projects and things are going "alright" but still a little hinky.
At least I remember to reboot now.
My wife says that when she is working in Encore she usually forgets to close Premire Pro anyway. We'll have to run tests to see if there is a consistent trigger.
We can't decipher all the nuances immediately because the family we're doing this for is getting together this weekend and we are transfering their three kid's wedding videos from the ninties onto DVD to be given to them while they are here.
After this weekend we are going to figure it out issue by issue.
You people are the best, thank you so much,
    Tracy

  • Access Denied message in Flash CS5 help

    Hi,
I had the problem with an Access Denied message when running community help and followed the technote instructions to re-install, but still had errors.
Browsing the config files in my newly created folder for the chc app:
      %appData%\chc.4875E02D9FB21EE389F73B8D1702B320485DF8CE.1\Local Store\HelpCfg\en_US
I find that the "baseURL" setting in Flash_11.0.helpcfg was set to: baseUrl="http://help.stage.adobe.com/"
Which also shows the Access Denied error in the browser.
Changing this to baseUrl="http://help.adobe.com/" seems to start it working and I get packages downloading etc.
Not sure if the URL is right, but that helped me.

I am having the same issue, Mac OSX.
Can't find ANY of the files you have referred to, and I'm incredibly frustrated that once again Adobe has screwed up my day's work.
Why can't we just have the reference documentation instead of all this 'community' help.
There's a time an a place for that - and it's online. Why can't I just get the reference info I want for the app I am using by clicking on HELP?
And why does my CD-based install require access to your website to get help files?
Now I have to waste time finding and fixing another of your bugs because you're trying to make something overly complicated.
I understand why you do not give printed documentation with boxed product - but WHY can't we just have a PDF file?

Here is a copy of the error

I have double and triple checked and the file is named properly, exists in the exact location (pics/) and the permission on the file is set to read/write for all
It was working but the last two times I used PUT I got this error. I can't find anything wrong with the file or it's location. The file IS on the server already but I don't like having unresolved errors like this.
I had one similar a few years back and I can't remember how I resolved it.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

OK, just tried, that. Same issue. Tried again (just for good measure) but still get the same error.
I even loaded the image into Photoshop and re-saved it but still same issue.

  • Access Denied Contribute CS5

I am having a problem getting one of our employees up and running with Contribute.  I have sent them the connection key and when I go down to try and install it I get an error:
Access denied.  The file may not exist or there could be a permission problem.
My IT administrator has assured me that he has set the permissions on the server exactly as they are set up for someone who is already running Contribute to work on the same site.  I'm running out of ideas here and Googling the problem has not been helpful.  Does anyone have any other suggestions on avenues to try?
    Many thanks,
    A

Were you able to resolve this issue?  I am having the same issue suddenly with all my users.  They are able to connect, but get the error message when they select edit page.  I am also using Contribute Publishing Server.

  • 'Access denied' when attempting to build/burn DVD, please help, urgent/desperate!

Recently bought CS3, overjoyed with most of it. Encore is giving me serious trouble though at the moment! The problem is that it simply will not burn to a dual layer disc! When we try to burn it to disc it begins the process, wizzing through different elements, then when it gets to 'sorting files'it stops with the message 'Access Denied' If we split the Wedding video in half it will burn to a standard DVD, but it will not burn to dual layer. We installed an additional, external writer in case the problem was with the hardware, but again it would not burn to dual layer. We attempted to build the dvd as an 'image' to the harddrive to then burn to dual layer through nero. This worked for a much smaller file, but when we tried to burn the larger file to the harddrive as an Image, 'Access Denied'!! We've tried everything we can think of, ...but if anyone else can think of a way to fix this, please let us know as we are in the final stages of the video project for a client and simply cannot get the project onto disc! When we 'check project', there are no errors listed. We've tried transcoding it to 7gb 1pass, and importing it from Premire pro without transcoding it, thereby letting Encore set the settings, but no joy. Thanks, Justin.

Rather than disabling UAC (or turning it down in Win7), just run Encore as Administrator.  Right-click, and select Run As Administrator.  Works fine for me in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  Doing it this way you still get the benefits of UAC.
