All other applications installed successfully. The warnings don't make sense RE: OS and display requirements. I'm using an HP Z800 / Windows 7 64 bit / Nvidia GTS 450. system worked beautifully with CS5. Now this. Sheesh. I rebooted and retried. Same result.

Once you verify that everything is working correctly, make a restorable image to an external USB drive
Hardware crashes or virus infections happen, so you should buy AND USE software to make a full backup of your hard drive to an external USB hard drive... plus, making step-by-step backups during a new install or major program addition makes it easy to go back a step if something doesn't work
This backup and then restore is, of course, only to the same computer with a new drive (or the same drive as long as you don't mind writing over everything) since doing a restore to a new computer won't work due to Windows and many programs having activation information that is keyed to your hardware (which is why Windows will force you to RE-Activate if you change very much hardware)

Image runs off of a bootable CD via Linux (the Zip you download includes a program to make the bootable CD) and it reads EVERYTHING on the drive, even the hidden registration information, so everything is restored when needed... and you may restore the image to a brand new drive in case of a crash, and not have to re-install anything
Please note that I own no part of Image, and I don't get a referral fee (that is just a plain web link) but I use the program and it has saved me a LOT of trouble when I had a hard drive die... and I was able to restore everything and not have to re-install or re-activate a single program, from Windows on up

CS5 will not install correctly

Does anyone else have this problem and how do I fix it? I moved (shouldn't have done this!) CS5, as a trial, to my desktop by dragging it there on my mac so I could easily access it. I didn't realize it would make me lose some of the components. Now that I have purchased the program and am trying to install it I get this message "you can't open the application Adobe Photoshop CS5 because it may be damaged or incomplete"

When you restore the Photoshop.app back to the application folder, you will not get the error "....Components are missing." If you need a desktop shortcut for the application, make a alias on the application folder for Photoshop and drag the alias to desktop. This will not give the above error. If you are still not able to launch the product, please uninstall the previous installation before installing the licensed version. To uninstall go to Application folder>Utilities>Adobe Installers. From there run the icon for Photoshop. This will uninstall the product. If you see multiple icons, trash the rest. Then install the licensed version.

Premiere Pro CS5 will not install on a brand new PC

I am trying to install CS5 on a brand new PC running Windows 8.1 Pro . The installer says that my computer does not meet the requirements to install Premiere and AfterEffects. However, I know that the hardware meets at least the minimum requirements. Any ideas on how to bypass this and install the two components? THanks.

64 bit support is required for After Effects and Premiere Pro CS5

Encore CS3 will not install

I've tried installing to XP32, XP64, Vista 32 & 64 and the new Windows7 32&64 with the same result each time... (encore failed to install)
The real kicker is that It installed for me before on this machine:
4G Ram; quad core 9000 series; no over clockin; Nvidia 250 (but tried others) I also replaced every thing... ram, cpu, motherboard, powersupply,
hard drives..... ect. one at a time then tried to re_install encore each time.
so basicly it has cost me an additional $2,000.00 + 20-30 hr. of time.
As you could imagine I am quite confused...........
Can any body HELP???????

These are very general instructions for installation of most Adobe programs, and none might be specific to your exact situation.
1.) if it's a downloaded installation file, make sure to Extract that archived file with the FULL folder structure intact
2.) turn OFF all anti-virus, pop-up blocking and spy sweeping programs
3.) turn OFF all firewalls, etc.
4.) run as a full Administrator
5.) install to the C:\. The exact folder location can be changed from the default
Do not know if any of these will help, but do check that you have fulfilled each.

Photoshop CS5 will not install.

I have the disk and all the other programs are up and running fine but Photoshop does not properly install.
It goes through the installation process but when its done installing there is only a file labeled "Photoshop cs5".

Exactly what type of "file"? Are you sure it's not a folder containing the installation? If not, what happens when you double click on it.
How much available hard disk space do you have left and what is the total capacity of your boot drive? How much RAM.

After effects cs5 will not install on my pc!!

Alright, i have just purchased adobe Master collection CS5 and I ran my first install...
When it ended, there was a message stating that stated that After Effects wasnt installed properly.
I ran another install and the same thing. only this time it came up with "Exit code 6", ant i scrolled down adnd it said that, in simple terms, the installation failed because the language pack coulnt be installed. It said this was because it "couldn't create extract assets from" my zip file.
I dont know what to do.
I have heard, however, that pcs with some of my specs don't work with this.
I have:
-Win 7 64-bit
-AMD Phenom X2
-Jetway 780gx
-2GB DDR3
-ati 4500 GPU
Please help me. I don't want this to be a rip off.

Your next option is to upgrade photoshop. If you can't afford the full version (less than $20/month) you could get elements, it uses the latest version of camera raw, but I think it is a stripped down version though.

Premiere Pro CS5.5.2 will not install after mothboard replacement .It was running correctly for 4 weeks prior to replacement due to AC connection issues and Wireless connectivity.
Adobe Case No. 183519673, Adobe Technicians (Asia/Pacific) have worked on this issue for over 3 hours with no results after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Have you tried reinstalling in the full three step way (otherwise strange things may linger)?
Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.
