Encore DVD mismo audio distintos menus

Hola, estoy haciendo un proyecto donde tengo muchos menus distintos, encore marca conflictos si coloco un audio distinto a cada menu, EXISTE LA POSIBILIDAD de incluir un audio track y que este corra continuo mientras navego entre menus??

The End of Stream Message can be solved by removing one or moor unwanted elements from the time line. in my case that was a jpg image that encore didnt liked.
It is very difficult to find out witch element you need to remove, but that is the only solution.

  • Adobe encore dvd 2 no reproduce ac3 audio

Using windows media player the same results.
Have I install Other software for hearing this type of audio tracks in encore dvd 2 ?
Motherboard Asus a8v deluxe - I can hear in Adobe others sort of sounds (mp3 mp2 wav)
    Thanks a lot

    Maskio.
What did you use to create the AC3 files?
I use this all the time - as in on a daily basis - in EncoreDVD and have no trouble at all playing back the imported Dolby Digital files.
There are 2 things that instantly leap to mind here:
1 - Non compliant AC3 files, created with garbage like BeSweet or similar.
2 - Conflicting filters installed to your system, for example the "AC3filter" being set up incorrectly.
My guess is that you have one of these problems - or both.
DTS audio is supported in passthrough mode. This is made clear in the manuals, and the Audio has to be prepared outside of Encore - or you cannot check the encodes.
Checking for Audio/Video sync should be a simple matter - and is NOT something that should be done using EncoreDVD - it should be done in the POST process. This is the usual way that authoring applications work.

  • Encore DVD Error Message - "End of Stream has been reached"

We have checked our assets and the audio and video are DVD standard.
We did a check project and it found no errors with the project.
We are running Windows XP SP2 on a network, 2GB memory, 200GB hard drive Dell OptiPlex Desktop
Dose anyone know what we should do???

  • Audio on Menus not playing

    Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can help me.
Using Encore on CS4, I created a project with three motion menus. The text was adapted from an Adobe template and the 'motion'' elements (video and audio) were created in Premiere, saved as an MPEG, imported into Encore as an asset and then alt-dragged to the menus. All of this works well. I then preview and build the motion menus with the preview buttion and everything plays well, the video and the audio (though it would be nice to have some voume control - but that's another story) are great and the menu structure (1st play menu and two subs) play fine. I then build the DVD. Firstly burned directly to DVD, the on subsequent tries as an image and as a folder. On all of them there is no audio on the menus. The timelines that the menus que are fine, the audio works but not on the menus.
In frustration I created a flash file of the same project, and the audio was great. All there. I then went and analysed the DVD folder I created earlier and DVD Shrink found the menus and even found found associated audio as LPCM2-ch but alas, even using this program to compile an .ISO nothing improved.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

......... I also do not want them rushing for the remote, to mute loud Menu Audio, only to have to then turn up the Volume, when the DVD plays. I like to "ease" the user into things. I find too many commercial DVD's, where the Menu Audio Volume is about +6dB above the other Audio and hate that. It does get my attention, but in a very bad way. It also scares my Bulldogs!
    Good luck,
    Hunt
    Oh, dear me yes.
The way I have found for menu audio - if you really must have it - is to halve the level from what you think is comfortable, and then set it to loop 20 or 30 times over - you would be surprised at hiw quickly this becomes very annoying.......and now place yourself in your customers shoes.
    @ the OP.
As Jeff says, please retry with Dolby DIgital or LPCM, LPCM definitely if you are looping on a tight loop.
MPEG audio is not your friend.

  • Encore DVD 2.0 "Timeline has a (Hpgc) error at 00:00:00:00

System: Win XP, 1GB RAM etc. I've used Encore DVD 2 for 3 years, never had this error message:
"Timeline has an error at 00:00:00:00.
    PGC Error - PGC Info - name= (Name of Timeline) ref= Hpgc, time= 00:00:00:00"
Check project was initially fine. I rebuilt entire project, same error. But Checking project, this time round, said it was an AUDIO error.
Transcoding all works, then the error appears at the Start of the actual build.
Help, I have 30 orders for this DVD, and nothing to show!
    Raymond
    New Zealand

    @Stanley,
Thank you for some more input on the PGC Error mess, like the "H" being a designator.
    @Raymond,
John's rec. for G-Spot is a good one. I use this about every week, and sometimes on many files in a day - depending on what client's load onto my desk. This little freeware program will do many things, but probably the most important is to tell you exactly what your AV (Audio/Video) file consists of, which CODECs are used for the Audio and the Video and whether your system has them installed.
As Stanley points out, MPG is not available (in or out) in the Premiere Trial version. Still, you should be able to File>Export>Movie and select, first Video (only, non-muxed) DV-AVI. Then do this again, but select Audio (only, non-muxed) PCM-WAV. This will give you elemental streams.
In Encore, Import_As_Timeline, your DV-AVI, and Import_As_Asset, your WAV. Drag your WAV to the Timeline.
Now, as the trial version does not allow any use of the MPG CODEC (licensing restrictions on the trial ONLY), you can't burn to DVD, which is MPEG-2, but you can Preview. You can also explore building a DVD with Menus, etc., you just cannot burn to folder, disc, etc., until you get the full version.
I have never had a PGC Error, nor have I ever seen a "Mismatched Audio" error. I tried to put much thought into the two PGC Error threads, but do not think I was able to help, at all. Also, most subscribers just posted, "yeah, me too," and never came back to answer anyone's questions. I also agree with Stanley, that most errors occurred well within the Project's Timeline, not at the beginning. I also agree with Stanley's suggestion to look at Jeff's and Neil's comments in those two threads. If noting else, their suggestions on how to work with Encore will give you a nice education.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
[Edit] Re-reading this thread, I think I warned Raymond about a moot point. Raymond, if you have Encore2, of course you can burn a DVD. I saw the mention of "trial," and jumped to the conclusion that you had the trial of CS3 *only* which would not allow you to use EncoreCS3 for a burn operation. Obviously, the trial of the Premiere side will preclude your Exporting in MPG, and also preclude Exporting Audio with the SurCode Dolby Digital AC3 encoder (separate purchase from Minnetonka, but a great plug-in if you do Surround 5.1 Sound). Please pardon my warnings, and caveats, if you have Encore2.
Also, the Check Project function is mainly checking navigation within the DVD specs, and I've never seen any Asset errors from it. Maybe I just have not had any???? Still, good luck!

  • Adobe encore dvd 1.5 simply create a dvd

Subtitles must be turned on to see them on the DVD.
You can use the remote control for your DVD player to turn subtitles on and off. You can do that now to see whether you actually succeeded in including them on your DVD. If you did, users can use the remote control and you are all done.
If you want them to appear when a user starts the disk, you can set them on by default. See "Set the Default ... Subtitle Track here:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/encore/cs/using/WSbaf9cd7d26a2eabfe8074010 38582db29-7e8ca.html#WSbaf9cd7d26a2eabfe807401038582db29-7e8aa
A user can turn them off with their remote, or yoiu can create menus for this. See "Set buttons to select audio or subtitle tracks" on the same link above.

    ¿Encore DVD no soporta AIFF?
AIFF es el formato de audio nativo de Mac pero si tienes quicktime instalado es posible generarlo en pc. Por que no intentas en esta forma?
Suerte, espero que alguna de estas locas ideas funcione.

  • 4:3 and 16:9 mix onto one Adobe Encore DVD

Using Adobe Encore DVD, I have made a 4:3 and 16:9 mix of movie timelines and menus on one DVD.
Encore previews the mix of 4:3 and 16:9 movies/menus in the one project correctly.
The dvd disc I made plays 4:3 and letterbox 16:9 on my 4:3 TV correctly.
The dvd disc I made plays 4:3 and 16:9 in InterVideo DVD on my computer OK.
Why when I take the disc to the shop to view on a widescreen monitor does it not show each aspect ratio correctly. I hope it is just a setting there but we tried many settings on the DVD player and on the monitor. When 4:3 played correctly, 16:9 did not and vica versa.
Is it me or the shop?
    This page was helpful http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/329473.html
    Thanks, freddo

We were just stuggling with this for some time, and eventually discovered that we were not properly using Encore.
We had two videos:  one as 4:3, the other as 16:9.
We created a menu, brought the videos into the timeline, linked everything properly, but would not get the expected results.
We eventually learned that we were supposed to create TWO timelines; one for the 4:3, and one for the 16:9.
Hope this can save someone some time.

  • Encore DVD Writing Cancels won't play on DVD player issue

So I have a very confusing issue with encore.
When I press build everything works fine. Then writing begins. The moment the writing reaches the end of the progress bar (the exact moment)  the progress bar goes to empty and the bottom bar says canceling and ejects the DVD. Usually (not every time) a pop up menu saying "end of file" appears next. When I press ok for end of file message the pop up disappears and suddenly the DVD progress bar is filled and the DVD says completed (as if nothing just happened). So I'm confused whether it worked or not!
I reinsert the DVD that just ejected into my Mac and it works! Then I put it into a DVD player and it won't play, it won't play on my old Xbox 360 either, but it WILL play in a Bluray player?!
Everytime I rewrite the files I get different results. They all work on my Mac and blu ray but only 1 of 4 works in the Xbox. The one that does work in the Xbox will read in the DVD player but plays choppy and  skips  around as if the DVD is scratched or damaged?
! Other differences involve the write speed, sometimes the options are 8x or 4x. Other times its 3x,2x, and 1x. When the latter write speed options occur I cannot press "test before writing" it's greyed out. When 8x and 4x are the speed options I can check it.  I used different DVDs and it didn't help.
I work for a company that needs to copy the DVDs but they can't be copied. Don't know why?
    Here are my settings
    Mpeg 2-DVD exported from Pr.
    720x480
    Codecs: Mpeg video, Mpeg layer
    Duration: 1:10:26
Encore DVD transcode status: Don't Transcode
    Encore Project/assets
    2 Menus
    1 Mpeg video
    1 Timeline
    Build
    Format: DVD
    Output: DVD disc
    Source: Create Using current project
    4.7 gb disc
    Has 510mb free
    All regions
    Unlimited copies
First Play and title button are a menu
    Check build is good.
I really need help with this weird issue quickly thanks.

Just an Update, I've tried many things to no avail still have a few others to try. Being a Large file it takes a while to try things.
I went ahead and got Toast, but considering that the Image Iso and the DVD Folder both gave me the End of File Error and the Disc "Failed Completed" Error I figured it a no go and it was. It did however give me something that Opened everywhere (Mac,Xbox,Dvd) , but it did not play on the Dvd correctly.
I've done numerous things in the Mac permissions end Like trying as a different user and running as the Root User, but it was also unsuccessful.
I've Re- Exported the file many different ways, but finally had a breakthrough using a version of M2v.  It's definitely an error with Finalizing. My disc previously began to mess up and give "END of File" after it finished writing, it never even made it to the "Writing Lead Out" stage. I beleive this is why it plays it certain places fine, but probably not as well in systems (like Dvd players) that require those last few steps like writing Lead Out.
The only issue I have now is that when I put it into the DVD player it say "No title"!?!? AY CARAMBA!!!
Now I'm working on trying to figure this NEW problem! I have all my menus and links in place, but no go. I think it may be related to the previous problem in that something beneath the surface is wrong with my computer. Being a used Mac with a restored Hard Drive there are probably endless possibilities, but I hesitate to think that way because it may also have absolutely nothing to do with it.
So any help is greatly appreciated
whether it be a specific issue you know of dealing with used Macs and issue similar to mine
or just on the "NO Title" error as a separate issue. I'm hoping this "No Title" is something simple and unrelated,  I've already burned through about 13 discs and even more pain pills for the headaches!!

  • Print out of Encore DVD Flowchart

I'm asking out of pure curiosity's sake.
Is it possible to get a print out of an Encore DVD flowchart? Obviously one could be made in either Illustrator or Photoshop, but it could be helpful to get a print out of a ready made flowchart.

Without going the raster-image routes, mentioned above, I know of no direct print function. I will usually do my flowcharts in AI, as I can have so much more control that way, and can even plug in graphics of the Menus, so that the client can see things cleanly, and can sign off on the Project.
I know that is not as easy as just pushing a button, and generating an 11 x 17 high-rez PDF, which would be great, but I do not know of any other ways.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Link Menu Buttons to Subtitle Track in Encore DVD 2.0?

I desperately need help with subtitles in DVD 2.0. I did: “Timeline > Add Subtitle Track” on each of my 10 timelines. I added a few subtitle texts to check how it works. So far so good. I created a submenu with “Select Subtitle, etc.” Then I tried to ‘link’ the Subtitle Button on this menu to subtitle track #1 – but it wasn't available in the Subtitle Button’s Properties panel’s Link drop down menu (and the Override drop down menu was grayed out). The Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 Manual says (on p. 222) that “You can set the audio or subtitle track with any link control (such as End Action or Override) in the Properties panel.” This doesn't seem to be the case unless I am doing something wrong (most probably). Also, on the same page, the manual says that “2. Select a button to set … the subtitle track… 3. In the Properties panel, choose Specify Other from the Link pop-up menu.” There is no “Specify Other” selection in the list. (One comment: The subtitle track does not show up in the Project panel – may be this is the problem?) I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Laci.

HI Bill, I have another subtitle question. I finished my first (big) Encore DVD 2.0 project yesterday (). I build the DVD image but when I tried to burn it to a DVD disk it turned out that the project has about 122 million more bytes than what would fit on the disk (). So, with PE 7, I edited some of the 9 movies in the project (exported them with same name, to the same place as during the first time) and I opened the Encore project.  I noticed that it used the old (imported by Encore) avi files. Then I did something not very smart: deleted the old (and long) avi. files from the project and imported the edited (and shorter) new avi files. At this point, I noticed, that my laboriously created subtitles disappeared  .
Do these subtitles still exist somewhere? There is a file in the project, called "SpuSplit.ses" in the SubtitleDataFiles folder but I do not know how to open it or if it would help at all. More important: What should I do next time to save the subtitles (or audio for that matter) if I still want to make some (minor) editing on my project after building the DVD?  (I assume that I have to create the subtitles in script files and then import them as many times as I want. Am I right?)
    Thanks for any help, Laci.
(BTW, I uploaded my picture and it is in 'My Profile' but does not show up with these massages.)

  • Making menu dvd in Photoshop to Encore dvd

Hello to all. The menu always I make dvd at photoshop and passes into the post Encore dvd. As you will see in the photo below I have made 3 Buttons (Play Movie - Chapter Selection - Slideshow) and a main video is not as much as you click on Button of the 3 poles was playing then. My problem is that I do not know what name to give him from Photoshop while I do the video in the central TV as Button whenever you go up the the arrow button takes like.
    I do not want like a button but as a video that plays as long as you expect. How can this be;

    Welcome to the forum.
If I understand what you are trying to do, which is play a Video in the Background of a Menu, then this THREAD in the Encore Forum might show exactly what you want to do. Also, most subscribers to the Encore Forum use Photoshop for their Menus, so you might want to read that linked thread, and if that is not what you want, post to the Encore Forum.
    Good luck,

  • Integration of other Adobe products..Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Encore DVD

Prior to obtaining CS2 I have been working with the other video/audio Adobe tools; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Encore DVD.
I fully expected to see integration of these products into the Bridge application after CS2 installation. I was disappointed, there does not appear to be any such integration. I do hope that this is in plan, and that I don't have to spend an "upgrade" fee to use integration that should have been there to begin with.
Even if there is no further integration, it would be nice to be able to continue using the Bridge as my "file manager" in the event I have to transfer my CS2 activation to another computer; after all I still have 4 licensed Adobe products installed on the machine, even if there not, quote, CS2 applications.

I can't use Bridge with my video products anymore. I have 3 systems in my personal development environment. I am now past the 30 day period before activation of CS2 is required on my video editing machine. Now I am no longer able to use Adobe Bridge with my other Adobe (video) products.
Also, now I've noticed that the next level of video products is available, they now have Bridge integrated. As I anticipated in my first append, I cannot continue using Bridge with my Adobe video products unless I spend more money for an upgrade. If the intention is to have Bridge become an integral tool in the creative process, this policy is short sighted. It can't be that difficult to bring out an update for the CS2 level of bridge that would enable it to work with users that have AE 6.5 or PPro 1.5 installed.

  • Adobe Encore Blu-Ray audio out of sync

    Hey,
So I'm trying to make a compiliation Blu-ray disc that has 3 seperate movies on it.  Each method I've tried as resulted in the audio being out of sync with the video.
I used dvd shrink to rip a dvd to include just the movie by itself.  I played that.  No out of sync audio issues.
I then used pgcdemux to demux the dvd files into seperate .m2v and .wav streams.  I played those, and again no audio sync issues.
I tried importing the seperate .m2v and .wav streams directly into Encore and it seemed to work until I created a timeline and when previewing the disc, the audio was out of sync.  So I went ahead and burned a copy to my blu-ray disc and sure enough the audio sync issues were on there too.
Then I went through adobe media encoder and tried to re-encode the .m2v file thinking it just wasn't done correctly the first time.  Still the audio is out of sync after importing to Encore.
I even demuxed the streams, then remuxed them together into an mpg file.  I played that without Encore and no audio issues.  But as soon as I import it and attach it to a timeline, and then preview it, audio is out of sync.
So I am completely lost here.  I don't quite know what else to do to get rid of the delay in audio.
    Suggestions?  Fixes?

Well it certainly has been a while!
So I finally got this to work.  It would seem that I spent so much time trying to rip and convert the dvd to their elementary source files: .m2v and .wav and since I was working with dvds, the files were quite large.
I actually loaded up a program called DVDFab and ripped each dvd into m2ts fomat.  Those files were, still, quite a few gigabytes a piece, as they are essentially rips of the dvds in a special blu-ray container format.
They loaded directly into Encore and I didnt even have to use Adobe Media Encoder before loading them.  And this time when I actually built my blu-ray, I received no errors.  So everything output fine.
    thanks for the help!

  • Help needed on Encore DVD 2.0 Transcoding Process!

    Hi Guys,
I'm really first running Encore DVD 2.0 on WinXP SP2. My Computer is P4 3.0 GHz with 2 GB of Ram.
I have used Premiere elements converted the media file to 20GB .avi file ( 1.40 Hr duration) and exported to Encore DVD 2.0. In Encore, I have created menus, added subtitles and eveythingelse which needed for building disc. I've selected 1 Pass VBR which I believed it would make transcoding faster.
It is now in the transcoding progress ( Building disc), I have a feeling that I might did something wrong since the transcoding progress has been taking more than 8 hours. In the transcoding box, please see
    http://www.maicans.com/images/Image.JPG
The upper bar has moved to and stayed like that since the beginning, only the lower bar is still moving.
Does anyone has any idea why it takes so much time for transcoding. Have I done anything wrong?
    Thanks,
    Bank Vichayotin

    Maybe this will help:
