Encore update download error

In process of downlaoding Encore update, error U43M1D207 occuered and the download was unsuccessful. Any suggestions?

Also if u still face issue, check your internet firewall and proxy settings.
otherwise try another network if you can.
coz the error-cord "U43M1D207" indicates downloaded file was invalid.

Mac OS 10.6.8 update download error

I have a brand new MacBook Pro and was looking forward to installing Lion but I have to update from 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 first. I went to Software Update and the download progress bar went all the way to the end at which point I got a "Mac OS 10.6.8 download error." It said there were problems connecting to the download server. The other 5 updates that the Software Updater app found that I could use downloaded and updated just fine. I tried restarting and re-updating but get the same error. What's going on? How do I fix this? Thanks.

My other updates did not update either. I do the download - OR TRY TO DO THE DOWNLOAD - after several minutes of what seems to be downloading... then it asks - "Would you like to install these downloads?" I click Yes. It begins to do something - and after a few minutes it says - "Error - problems ocurred while connecting to the download server." By not doing these updates I know this is what is slowing my down computer and sometimes making it down right stagnant like a PC. I sometimes have to click on the same thing four or five times to get it to do the function. I have been getting this message all week. I have 8 updates that need to be completed and I am using 10.6.8 Mac OS.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!! I am frustrated! My husbands PC laptop is in the shop - for the 5 or 6th time. I had almost convinced him to go Mac... I need this work RIGHT!

Photoshop CS5 updates not working under windows 8 64bit, updates download error

I´ve changed from Windows 7 32-bit to Windows 8 64-bit. Since this point updates reported download error for all components. I´ve downloaded all updates und saved them. Report is still the same

doing the cscleanertool helped. everything is ok but the update Pixel bender 2.5. this is still not working but i can live with it. the new Installation with files downloaded from Adobe was also unusable und i switched again to my cd´s. then everything was fine.

Can't update download error 49

I cannot update adobe photoshop cs6 and other products on Adobe CC. Whenever I try, it says update failed, download error 49. I am running windows 8 64-bit please help.

3.0 update download error -5000

My wife has purchased the 3.0 update but all attempts to download retrieve a 0.4kB file and error -5000.
Similar problems are reported elsewhere but not this particular error number -5000. She has tried over several days so it is not likely to be a server problem. There do not seem to be any other network problems and I have ensured firewalls are off and no virus /blocking software is running.
In case it is relevant, we share the iTunes music folder and she only has read access to that. I changed it to read/write access in case iTunes was trying to store the download there but that made no difference.
Has anyone found a resolution to the update download failures?

This really sounds like a network or server error. Having the write access to that directory turned off was also a likely contributor. The actual update file is over 200 MB. If you haven't deleted (and emptied the trash as well) that file, do so before you try the download again. You also might want to repair permissions as well as switching permissions in the middle of something may have created a problem.
If you are the admin on the system, why don't you download it under your sign in. I'd be curious to see if you have problems.

Update Download Error

I'm trying to update Photoshop CC Photoshop. I keep getting a download failed error (#49). Adobe's troubleshooting provides no help at all. There are some troubleshooting links, but the two numbers do not match the error I am getting. Apparently, there is no way to contact Adobe about the issue. Very disappointed in Adobe's lack of support.

Any idea what it means?

As I mentioned on another discussion thread -
Once the update failed I could no longer launch Photoshop CS6. I got a dialogue box that popped up saying "Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working." I tried a number of things, including trying to reinstall Photoshop CS6. Maybe I did something wrong but I couldn't get any joy. Luckily, I had a recent Drive image which I restored and got my lovey Photoshop back again.
I then did as someone suggested and attempted to update from within Photoshop itself. Unfortunately, the same horrible result. Have just restored my drive again and will not try to install update 13.1.2 until I know that the problem has been addressed and fixed by Adobe.
By the way, as my attempt to reinstall Photoshop, as per the Adobe suggestion, didn't help, should I have reinstalled the entire Creative Suite Master Collection? If that is what I need to do then I will most definitely forgo this update.
I just had a look at what this update is supposed to do. It apparently gets rid of a bug that when you open a copy of Photoshop CS6 that you purchased, a notice displays that you can try this product for 30 days. As I don't have this issue, I wonder why I got the update anyway. Maybe that is why it is causing so much angst. It is supposed to fix a specific problem that I don't have.
I suggest that if, like me, you don't have this "Trial Screen Display" bug, don't install the update.

New Equium will not allow Vista update download - Error Code 80070002

Hi,
I bought a brand new Equium Laptop from PC World and when switched as is the norm the Operating System (Vista) tries to download the updates from Microsoft.
However, I am struggling with this as it has become stuck after doing a number of downloads successfully.
Now when I go to 'Windows Update' I get the error message Error Found Code 80070002.
Can anyone help with this?

I don't know what is wrong there but if you start Google and put Error Code 80070002 as searched term you will find lot different forums with the same theme. As you can see many other people have the same problem as you.

What does the update download error message "there was an error downloading this update" mean?

Trying to download and install updates to CS5. Everything looked normal, got the progress bars for downloading and installing the updates. Then at the very end received message that the update failed to install because there was an error downloading the update. This has happened repeatedly. Just completed a clean install of the OS (Win 8.1) and CS5. Appears the update manager created the required folders. A subfolder for each of the CS5 apps was created in the AAMupdater folder. Each of the apps had a subfolder, but contained only a XML file.

Slow internet / update download error

I'm trying to help fix my dad's Imac G5 2.1 Ghz (OS X 10.4.2), but am having a real hard time in doing so. Please help me!
The problem lies in the connection with the internet and it has been going on for some time now. Problems:
- some webpages will load half way and then loading will stop
- safari crashes on some webpages (youtube), does not load images on others (bbc.com)
- when downloading an os x update the following error appears: a networking error has occured: timed out (-1001)
- some pages do work normal, for instance Apple.com
This is the list of things I have tried so far:
- completely new reinstall of OS X 10.4.2 from the original discs
- creating a new network location and adding certain DNS codes
- turning the computer and router on and of
The Imac is connected through Airport, as are a number of other computers on our home network. My own Macbook Pro runs on it perfectly.
I'm totally clueless, would like to help my dad on this 2nd christmas day.

I'd open Network Utility, Ping tab, and ping each of those names or numbers & see if there's any Packet losses.

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 5 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.

Nokia Software Update Download ERROR !!

i hve tried downloading nokia update several times from the nokia website...and after waiting for every 20 minutes for the download it say 'error reading setup initialization file' every time i double click on the software :@ ! Can anyone help? or provide me with a mirror website where i can download this update software from ?

Tour 9630 - Update Download Error

I was trying to download the latest Blackberry software and was notified by Microsoft that a serious error had occurred because of the device software. Now I cannot get the Blackberry software to connect with my Blackberry Tour and it appears everything has been wiped out on my Blackberry. I get a black/white message "Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0xf405d43394c6940e) timeout".
Spring is my carrier, I have Microsoft 2007.
Any ideas about what to do?

It is about 5PM central time here and I noticed the .732 OS is available via Wireless Update on my 9630 Tour. I checked the Verizon Blackberry Software download page and it is still giving the previous version at this time.

Live Update Download Error

Whenever I use Live Update and go to install a new download it fails. As it downloads, the counter goes from 0 - 99 and when it reaches 99 it comes up with Error Code:0. , and stops the download/install.
I have tried this for a number of different driver updates, but all the same. I connect via a proxy server, and don't know if this is a problem, but as it starts downloading it should at least continue and finish the download.
I have uninstalled and re-installed the Live Update software but it still comes up with the error.
Any help appreciated.

I am trying to update my iPad to v4.3.2 but every time the download finishes I get this error message:
There was a problem downloading the software for the iPad xy. The network connection timed out.
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later.
err = -3259

Unable to update - Download error (49)

Indesign and Bridge happily update, but Photoshop and Premiere continually get this error. Connected to the internet and no issues on any other site or transferring large files.. Any ideas?
