Encore WT8 - battery discharging during the sleeping mode

My battery is discharging during the sleeping mode.
If I sleep the tablet with battery fully charged then battery is fully discharged after 14h.
I suppose that must be something wrong with it. I cant find any option to activate functionality to switch off (hibernate) tablet when it is not used in sleeping mode for particular time.
Do you have any solution or advice what I should do to change energy consumption during the sleeping mode?

The system supports connected stand by function which starts working after your tablet goes into sleep mode.
Connected standby function is to provide a constant connectivity while delivering long battery life and at the same time some activities are allowed to run to ensure that the supported connected standby scenarios (for example receiving emails, updating tiles alive with fresh content, downloading/uploading a file from a/to a website and playing music) are functioning properly.
What does this mean?
This means that even if the tablet is set into Sleep Mode, some background processes are still running and this could be the reason why the battery discharges.

I would to have your help on this situation that i am having for a month or so... Ok... it started about a month ago, I turned it on and all of the sudden, it shut down, then rebooted on its own... (actually it rebooted like 3 or 4 times before running the system) I thought that it was odd. I had my Tech to look over and see what was causing to crash and all... he could not find anything then we all decided to leave it running all time... so we did. a week or two later, it just crashed when i woke the sleep mode and it went on the usual route as crashed and rebooted two or three times before going back to normal.
sound familiar to you guys? after that happened, we turned off the sleep mode and so far, it is doing good... decided not to update the system's Security software because it may have something to cause the mac to crash down...
the mac is 2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 8 Gb 667 MHZ DDR2 FB-DIMM, running on 10.6.8
appreciate your help on this.

One more thing.... it makes weird sounds as well... very high pitch sounds that you hear in movies where UFO flying by while it is doing the rebooting...

There are a few things that can run battery down.
Make sure Bluetooth is off. (Each time you allow location settings in an app, it turns Bluetooth back on)
If wifi connection is weak and the iPad searches for connection, that can run it down. Update or replace your router.
Close apps running in the background. Double click the home button, swipe pages up to close app.
Change notification settings so they are less often, manual.
Put your iPad in airplane mode when away from wifi connection.

HP laptop does not wake up from the sleep mode! Urgent help needed!

I have purchased HP Pavilion DM4 laptop 3 months ago, for the past month when the laptop goes in the sleep mode ( after being idle for several minutes) and I then try to wake up by hitting any key, even power button, nothing happens. Power light keeps beeping but nothing happens. I have to pull battery and restart the laptop, this is extremly painful as I keep loosing my unsaved documents all the time.
This happens once in every 2 tries. I would really appreciate a help!

Perform a hard reset on the Notebook. To perform a hard reset, follow the steps below.
Unplug the AC adapter from the notebook PC.
Remove the battery from the notebook battery compartment.
Disconnect any external devices or peripherals connected to the notebook. Press and hold down the power button for about 15 seconds

Your problem is that your iPod is not sensing that your headset is inserted. There is a pin inside the headphone port on the Nano that senses if it is inserted fully. If it does not sense anything, it will pause playback to save battery power when the screen dims. Here are the solutions:
Insert it fully. This will fix it for most of you. Press that thing in there all the way. You should feel and hear a full click when it is fully seated. If you can see ANY silver of the headset jack, it is not fully inserted.
Debris inside the headset port. If you are totally unable to push the headset jack all the way, the most likely problem is that you have crud inside your headphone jack. Try blowing it out or slapping it against your palm with the headset port facing your palm to try and get the stuff out. If you look into he jack with a light, you should be able to see to the bottom. The entire inside of the headset port is white, so if it looks dark at the bottom, that is the crud that is keeping your nano from working.
Headset jack or plug issue. If you cannot solve the problem with 1 or 2, then there is likely something physically wrong with either the headset jack on your headphones or the headset port on the nano.
If none of the above works, you need to take it to the Apple store or wherever you purchased it. I think they are still under warranty.

I need to turn the sleep mode off on my B209a printer,every time my computer updates and printer is in sleep mode , my computer does not reinstall printer.
usally its at a time where I need to print and I have to stop and reboot system with the printer on.

Go into the setup menu from the display of the unit and find prefferances. In there is the option called "energy save mode". You should be able to turn it off there.

Boss bought a new monitor for his mac book. We connected it but he rather keep the mac book lid closed in order to work on the bigger monitor screen. Soon as he closes the lid, the mac book goes to sleep mode.

This is a suspicious sign of power supply failure. I would have that checked into. Others who have had similar problems have had the power supplies replaced which fixed the issue.

You can set times for your computer to turn on or wake from sleep in the Energy Saver system preference pane using the Schedule... button.

iPhone 4 32Gb doesn't wake up from the sleep mode. When the iPhone goes into the sleep mode, I can't wake it up with the 'Power' button, neither with the 'Home' button. The phone is working, I even can hear the sound of 'unblock' slider if u touch and slide the screen at the place where the 'unblock' slider suppose to be, but the screen remains black. I have to push the 'Home' or 'Power' buttons MAAAANY TIMES to make the screen appear finally. Sometimes I need to push it 30 or 40 times!!! Or I just have to reboot the phone to make it work. But right after it goes into the sleep mode, I can't wake it again But when the phone is connected to iTunes, the sleep mode is working good (one push on the button and the phone is awaken). No, I don't have a case only a protective membrane on the screen... and I've tried to reset the iPhone by holding the 'Power' and 'Home' buttons with no result. After this reset the phone is working normally sometimes for about ten minutes (wakes up after one push), but then it's all repeats. And I repeat, that if I connect the iPhone to the PC with the USB-cable, the sleep mode is working fine, just like it should (I can wake the phone with one button push).
