Encounter Installation problem with trial Adobe Production Premium CS5

When installing the trial version of Adobe production premium CS5 it fails to Install Adobe premiere CS5 and AE. The remaining applications in the suite are all installed.
I have followed all the suggestions from Adobe's site, and finally contacted their Tech Support, who could not resolve the issue sofar.
I have run their AdobeSupportAdvisor and it displays:cpsid_83570: Conflicting processes running while installing - Creative Suite 5
I am running MAC OS 10.6.6 64 bit .

It took several attempts by the Adobe Technical support on an escalating level, including once a 6 hour telephone connection to have it resolved.
The last tech that finally resolved it took only two hours.
I already had Lightroom (ver 3.0, 64 bit) and Photoshop CS5(64 bit) individually installed with a legitimate license.
We had to clean out anything related to "Adobe", i.e. delete, uninstall, etc. Create another administrative account, then install the Production Suite(trial version) in Safe Mode.
The frustrating part was that every time I called back on the case, I had to answer the same questions regarding my operating system, like if I called in for the first time! I even had a slight argument with one Tech, who questioned the Graphics card. I purchased the IMAC just before Christmas (Snowleopard, 64 bit, 8 gigs of RAM, etc).
The developers at Adobe should make a better effort to make installations smoother. It was like a nightmare trying to install the software. I wanted to make sure that the software installed properly before I actually paid for it, and I nearly gave up on it after dealing with their tech support for a little over a week.
Hope that no one else has to go through the ordeal I went through.

As a final note, when I initially installed the software, all components of the Suite would install properly, except for Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro.For some reason, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro refused to be installed.
The last technician who resolved the installation issue(after cleaning anything related to Adobe), initially choose to install the Adobe Premiere Pro component of the suite by itself. Once Adobe Premiere Pro installed, the remaining components installed with no issues.

I already own the Adobe Production Premium CS5.5 which includes Premiere 5.5. Today I bought the upgrade from Premiere 5.5. to Premiere CS6. But this requires to type in the serial of Premiere 5.5.. You have to upgrade like items, a suite is not the same as an individual application. Your only hope is going to be to talk to Adobe customer support directly to see if they will allow special consideration for your case. Otherwise you will need to return the purchase and purchase the CS6 version of the same software you are upgrading from (Production Premium) rather than individual applications within the suite.

You better contact Adobe to see whats possible. In the worst case scenario you have to buy an upgrade to CS5.5. What kind of license do you have? Is it retail or AVL...

Is the GTX580 w/ 3GB of memory a good choice?
This will be used for commercial production. It is replacing an Avid Mediacomposer/Adobe Premiere 7 system.
Output will primarily be via firewire to Sony DSR decks.

While there are may recommendations that can be done. There is no one "best" solution. It all depends on budget, and needs. I can only tell you why I chose certain components.
I took the Asus Rampage III for several reasons. I had to have sufficient PCIe slots of the appropriate lanes and physical spacing between them to accommodate 4 cards (One x16, one x8, and two x4). You have to account for the fact that the x16 GTX580 graphics card is double wide. In some cases, it's triple wide, but not the PNY GTX580 water cooled I chose. Another reason I chose it was because of it's ability to overclock. While most motherboards these days can overclock, the Rampage series has more options to fine tune. CPU wise, I'm getting a 990x CPU, because of it's unlocked multiplier, along with a closed-loop Anteck Kuhler 920 water cooling system. This CPU along with the Rampage III, will provide me with a wider spectrum of choices to achieve the fastest stable system I can get. In general, Asus brand has a good reputation, and the Rampage III has been around for some time and has proven itself to a stable and a good performer.
Why overclock? I don't plan to break any speed limits. Nor do I plan to push the limits of stability either. But there is a middle ground that can allow me to get faster computing, while keeping stability, in a well cooled environment. For me stability is very important. And I know it's possible to have a stable overclocked system that can last for years. Why overclock at all? Productivity! While a 990x 3.4GHz is very fast; 4.0 or 4.2GHz is faster. Most functionalities of an editing workstation (other then MPE) is CPU cenric. And while most modern apps are multithreaded, not all are optimized to use multicore. So the raw speed of a single core is still advantageous. Imagine 6 cores running faster on optimized applications like CS5.5.
If you intend to run lots of disks, a RAID card is highly recommended. Especially if your using a parity RAID like level 5. LSI makes good controllers. Areca also makes good controlers. The difference with LSI and Areca, and why a lot of people here choose Areca over other brands, is because of RAID3. RAID3 works beautifully in single user mode with very large files. Perfect for video editing. RAID5 will certainly work, but is better geared towards multiple users accessing large quantities of small data. Also, RAID5 from a motherboard's on-board RAID controller has CPU overhead. Having a card will remove that overhead. And RAID cards are more efficient then any on-board controllers. Finally, it helps to get a controller with more cache. While 512MB is good, more is better.

I suspect that you need to adjust the in and out points of the text on the path. Try watching this tutorial, "Putting type on a path," in the Illustrator CC Creative Cloud Learn show to learn how to do this successfully.

Can't trial photoshop elements be installed to any drive but C? it always wants me to choose C even though I don't have the room...when I change it to another...it says I don't have enough room in C although I never chose C in the first place..what gives?

Some components always will be on the system root drive, even if the main program can be installed elsewhere. There's no way around that and if your system hasn't enough room for that, well, then it's hopeless....

Production Premium CS5.5 Installation "Errors?"

I just received my new Production Premium CS5.5 Upgrade package, Since things were getting ratty with the old Win 7 64 I tried to do a fresh install on my Dell Win 7 64-bit T7500 workstation. For what it's worth, I just went through and extended session with Adobe support re: CS5.5 throwing an error up front, i.e., aborting the installation before it got under way. It turned out my problem was with the Adobe Flash Player. Apparently, if you've updated your flash player to a later version than is included in the CS5.5 installer, it will throw an error. In my case, I had just updated my Flash Player to 10.3 a day or 2 before I tried to install PP CS5.5. The cure was uninstalling Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X and Plugin and running the installation again, which encountered no errors/problems. I went ahead and updated to Flash Player 10.3 afterwards with no problems (so far).
If my memory serves me correctly, a couple of weeks when I installed Design Premium CS5.5, I got an error message after the installation that mentioned the Flash Player, but I couldn't detect any problems with with any of the programs I subsequently used. I think at that time I was running and updated version of Flash Player 10, but am pretty sure I had not installed 10.3 at that time. I'm guessing that whether it throws a pre or post installation error may depend on which package your installing and/or which Flash Player 10+ version your using.

Dynamic Link Production Premium CS5.5 error

I have Adobe Production Premium CS5.5. I am trying to use dynamic link to send clips from Premiere to AE. I have never had a problem with this before, however today I am getting the error: "Using Adobe Dynamic Link with Adobe After Effects requires Adobe Production Premium". What is causing this, and how to I get it working again?

Also, it MAY be that something has gone wrong with your installation that is causing your programs to not "see" each other... a reinstall MAY fix this

Adobe Photoshop CS3 - Problem with Trial

I recently downloaded and installed Adobe Photoshop CS3 directly from Adobe as it is the latest version my Mac supports. Upon start up, I am greeted with two options: a) I have a serial number for this product. and b) I want to try Adobe Photoshop CS3 free for 30 days. Seeing how I am simply looking to evaluate and have not purchased said product, I selected option b.
However, upon clicking "Next >" I am greeted by an error. "Problem with Trial" I am left with nothing but wasted time. This is the first time I have ever installed Adobe Photoshop CS3 so I do not understand why it will only allow access with a serial number. Any help to allow me to try this software is appreciated.

Could the trial have a time bomb in it that prevents use after several years? There's not much of a need for Adobe to allow trials to run for so long after the product's life cycle has concluded.

I faced similar challenge. Re-installation did not solve the problem due to unsuccessful un-installation of ‘Microsoft Click to run 2010’. The following steps worked for me. Please use your discretion to try and see if it works for you too..
1 Uninstall Microsoft office Starter 2010. If
‘MS click to run 2010’ doesn't get uninstalled use Microsoft fix it tool meant for installing and uninstalling programmes, to uninstall the same.
2 Download ‘Microsoft Office Starter 2010’ from internet.
3 Before launching, right click the executable file and click the 'properties'. Go to
‘compatability’ tab and choose appropriate 'compatibility mode' as per your OS. Tick the check box to use admin privilege under
privilege level section.
4 Launch the executable to install Microsoft Office Starter 2010 afresh. It should go through four steps during installation now. Complete the steps and enjoy. Thanks !

"Problem with Trial - problem loading trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS3"

Hello,
I installed Photoshop CS3 Trial and whenever I run it and choose to begin my trial period I get the following error message:
"Problem with Trial - problem loading trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS3".
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even ran the Adobe CS3Clean Script but nothing seems to help.
I should note I never installed any earlier version of Photoshop on my system (I use a fresh copy of Windows XP with only a few programs installed).
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

i had the trial of photoshop on and the trial has run out my friend has given me a disk with adobe photoshop on and i cant do it beacause of the regestry code the photoshop puts in after the trial has ended to tell my pc that i cant have photoshop on my computer again :(:( now i have herd that you can remove the codes but it is quite hard well iam willing for this challenge and if anyone could help me i would reall welcome your help or if anybody has got the link to a tutorial to tell me hoe to do it i would aprecitae that to thank you all very much and post bak soon please
