Encountered Error code 15 - installation failed (note refers to camera raw R 8.8.0 has changed)
I am running a Mac with OS X 10.7.5. I do have multiple versions of Adobe applications in my applications folder (CS5, CS6,CC, CC 2014). This error occurred when downloading Bridge CC.
Which version(s) of Adobe products is/are likely to be in conflict with Camera Raw 8.8.0 ?

first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

I am looking to your log find that it's trying to launch DISM from c:\windows\SysNative. You might try build a symbolic link from c:\windows\system32 (where DISM lives) to the non-existent path c:\windows\SysNative. Then check the issue again.
To build a symbolic link, try workaround as Brian's reply to this thread.

First time on here... so not sure if doing correctly.
I'm tryng to download icloud control panel to my PC (have Windows 7 - so should be ok). I only get so far - 2 times I've tried it. Keep getting message:
The installer encountered errors before iCloud Control Panel 2.1.2 could be configured.

huh?As I mentioned before you need to start the iTunes installation, then do NOT allow it to complete. In other words go all the way to the point that the installer extract the installation files, then STOP right there.
Now look for the temp folder and the files I mentioned in my initial posting. If you don't find the temp folder it may be because you have "Do not show hidden files and folder" selected under "View Tab" in the "Folder Options". You may need to unselec it. If you don't know about hidden files and folders in Windows XP take a look here: http://txpress.blogspot.com/2007/05/show-hidden-filesfolders-in-windows.html
Another possibility is that you may have a different path for your temp folders. To find out where you temp folders are located please do the following:
- Right click on "my computer"
- Select the "Advanced" tab
- Click on "Environment Variables"
Then look for the path for both variables "TEMP" and "TMP" take note of the path and check them out.
Or you may just go to a DOS Prompt and type the following commands:
1 - %temp% and hit enter
2 - %tmp% and hit enter
to both of these commands you will get a reply such as:
'c:\temp' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or bath files.
So by looking at the reply you can see that my temp folder is c:\temp
The above is the temp folder on my machine which I've customized to my own use. Your machine may be different.
I suggest you check for the iTunes temp folder inside both your temp folders locations "TEMP" and "TMP" as they may be in different locations.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you allow the iTunes installation to complete you will NOT SEE the iTunes temp folder and files because it will be deleted as soon as iTunes processes the installation.

You can try downloading the 64 bit version. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Windows 7 64bits Installing Internet Explorer 11 ERROR Neutral package installation failed

The laptop is running Windows 7 64bits with Internet Explorer 10 and the Windows automatic updates is turned on. The problem happens when the Windows keeps installing the Internet Explorer 11 every time between shutdown process. So I decided to download
IE11 offline installation and try to install from it but the problem doesn't solve, the installation still does not complete. I have tried to delete all files in the Windows temp folder and IE temp folder already but the problem still exist.

Error - A valid installer could not be found, using AAMEE and CS6
I receive the error - A valid installer could not be found, when using AAMEE 3.0 to create a CS6 Trial Package in Windows 7. I'm following the procedure documented here - http://blogs.adobe.com/oobe/tag/cs6 Imaging CS6-Attack of the Clones. I've tried both pointing at the DVD and pointing to a local folder, after copying the DVD to a local folder and copying the \payloads folder from the second DVD. I know the DVD is valid because I did a manual installation. I'm pointing at the folder that contains the Set-up.exe file, plus I've tried pointing at every other folder as well, with no success. I have a 40 user license for CS6 Master Collection for a classroom on our campus. I need to create a image for this classroom, and was thrilled that a solution was being provided to accomodate this, but AAMEE does not work! I'm working in a Windows 7 environment.
On top of this frustration, my Adobe ID is not working, I've used "chat" support and phone support and I can still not log in. They claim it has been escalated. When I explained the AAMEE error to the phone support rep, he informed me that there was no technical support and my only option was to post the question on the forum...but you have to log in with your Adobe ID to post a question! Round and round it goes. So I had to create another ID under a different email, just to post my question. I'm getting the mystery "an error has occurred, please try again", when I try to log in with my work Adobe ID.
Help! Anyone?RESOLVED - Thanks in part to the ALBERT-in-Vancouver and Tushar Bammi thread concerning a similar problem. I dissected the PDApp.log. I had copied the installation DVDs to a local folder per the Deployment Guide, when installing from the DVD initially failed. But, PDApp.log stated - EnterpriseNativeApplet Individual media disks on fixed volumes are not supported, please use CD/DVD or mounted ISO/DMG media. That clued me in to trying to create the MSI using the DVDs again. My fault - that the original attempts to create the MSI from the DVDs did not work, I didn't realize I needed to run AAMEE with elevated privileges. Note - the earlier attempts when I was running AAMEE with elevated privileges and pointing to the locally copied installation files, failed. Interesting. I'm confused as to why the Deployment Guide directed my to create a product-install folder...
I haven't tested the MSI file yet, but if I have additional problems I will start a new thread.

Encountering error code U44M11210
Encountering error code U44M11210 when trying to update Bridge CS6 5.0.2. Any suggestions most welcome.
I'm having the same issue none of the newly installed products will update. I've tried for days and it errors out each time.
I'm on a new windows 7 64bit computer. The products run just fine just will not update.

errnois it possible for the card owner company to add additional key(s) which is then only for me useable? Not really. In GP 2.2 it may be possible to have multiple security domains where different developers can load applets but there is still a main issuer than can delete your applets (or security domain). I have not had much of a chance to look at cards that support GP 2.2 so I do not have all the details on this. In GP 2.1.1 it is not possible. If you have the keys for the ISD you can do what ever you like to the card.
Is this process of authentication described some where? Yes. It is in the GP card spec. Look for the appendix on secure channel protocol 02.
Is it not possible to protect a single applet slots - why should I lock the card for new deployments when the security of my applet is not a problem?Secured is a card manager state that doesn't look you out of the card, it just means some things are not possible (like starting a secure channel without MAC'ing). When you are developing you can keep the card in OP_READY or INITIALIZED.

I successfully installed creative cloud once, but after that I recovered the PC and it was erased, now when I install creative cloud I get this message, "We've encountered the following issues: Installer failed to initialize". Why is that? And what should I do about it?
I have also tried the two solutions in the link below, but the problem is that "Adobe creative cloud" is not in my program list to uninstall it.

Can't delete custom color profile
