Encrypted Pictures not readable after cut and past on my laptop

Hi,
I have cut and past my pictures from my BB Bold ans as they are encrypted (.rem) I cannot open the files in windows.
I see after that i have to use desktop manager to move the files and uncrypted them.
But now when i tried to move again the file ot my BB, the files are not recognized by the terminal ..
do you know if a method exist to be able to recover the pictures ?

If I read you correctly, you are describing the performance of BBOS and content protection (encryption) and not a malfunction.
Here is some information that should help you.
- if you copy and paste a file that is encrypted, it remains encrypted, as you found
- if the file is encrypted (.rem extension) and you use the desktop software to copy or sync, the copied file on the computer is not encrypted, as you found
- when you enable encryption, the files that are already on the SD card remain unencrypted, and only files that are written or modified after encryption is enabled will be encrypted (again, this is BBOS)
- I'm not sure about files in device storage memory, so you will need to test unless you look it up or someone answers, but I'm assuming when you enable content protection all of the files in this location will be encrypted
- for files that are encrypted (have .rem extension) if you disable content protection and then act on the file, the encryption will be undone (and .rem extension removed) -- acting on the file can be moving it, renaming it, etc -- and files that are encrypted and not acted upon while content protection is disabled will remain encrypted

Photos gone after cut and paste

Hi,
I had a problem with my iphone 6 when I tried to cut and paste photos from iphone to my windows 8 PC. At first I tried 1 photo, and it worked properly, yet when I cut and paste a bunch of photos (around 50 of them) onto my pc, I realized about half of the photos were missing. Then I used ctrl+z to see if the missing photos would come back. Unfortunately, the missing photos weren't back, and the ones that were originally successfully transferred to my pc were also missing as well (after ctrl+z). So now I have no photos left. Are there any ways of recovery?

I suggfest not using cut and paste - merge events by dragging one ot the other or selecting them and using the merge events command
and be extremely careful about going inside the iPhoto library - the slightest error can damage your library and cause data loss

RAR5.3 not able to cut and paste list of users to Multiple Selection screen

CC V4.0 on ABAP system has a feature where you can cut and paste a list of many users from the clipboard to Single Values column in the Multiple Selection screen, so you can run SOD Analysis Report for all those users. The Multiply Selection screen is a standard SAP supplied pop up screen.
With RAR 5.3 the Multiply Selection screen design is different. There is no longer feature to cut and paste from clipboard. We have to input each user one at a time. So if you have many users (20, 30, etc.) it is a time consuming task. It is not acceptable to our business power users.
We can import the list of users to a Custom User Group (in the Configuration Tab). First of all, there is no mass delete on Custom User Group. You have to delete each user one at a time which is time consuming. The alternative is to create a new Custom User Group each time, then it becomes a maintenance nightmare. Secondly, it is in the Configuration Tab which is only available to Administrators (fear of users changing configuation data), so the Administrator (or whomever has access to the Configuration Tab) has to maintain the Custom User Groups which is a lot of work for him or her or them.
We talk to SAP every week. But they are looking at this as a long time project. Does any one of you (or your company) has the same requirements? How do you get around it? Did you setup some other procedures so users can cut and paste the users list and run the Risk Analysis report themselves?

This is probably a JVM issue. Are you using JInitiator or the IE native JVM?
I suggest you turn on the JVM console, set the trace level to maximum, and then watch what happens when you attempt the copy.
Also, check the key mapping (usually ctrl-k) that the forms applet is implementing. Perhaps ctrl-c means something else...

When using a college web site, I can not copy, cut, and paste.

Italics and boldface not preserved in cut-and-paste from InDesign CS3

This is using Mac InDesign CS3 5.0.1 and Mac Dreamweaver CS3
9.0.
When cuting-and-pasting text from InDesign CS3 to Dreamweaver
CS3, basic text formatting such as italics and boldface are not
preserved for me. When I select Edit, Paste Special in Dreamweaver,
the "Text with structure plus basic formatting (bold, italic)" is
not selectable when the clipboard holds InDesign-origin text.
If I paste the same InDesign text into Word, the formatting
is preserved and if I then cut-and-paste from Word into
Dreamweaver, boldface and italics are preserved. But I don't want
to cut-and-paste everything twice!
Do others experience this too?

Apparently it is an issue with Leopard (and Illustrator)
Workarounds:
1) Export from InDesign as eps or PDF, or
2) Copy paste into Photoshop as a Smartobject, and then double click the layer to edit smart object (it will open in Illustrator)
I know, it's a pain.

Why am I not able to cut and paste to Microsoft Works anymore?

While using Internet Explorer I was able to copy off the internet and paste into my Microsoft Works word processing. I can no longer do that with Mozilla. I keep getting the answer "it exceeds the size limit" even if it's only one word.

You should be able to view both PDFs and Powerpoint attachments by tapping on them to download them and then open them. Without a separate app you can't then save them on the iPad, but you should be able to open and the read both of them in the Mail app.

When you came across this case, you should be careful to recover Video on iPhone.
1. Fish your iPhone out of the water as quickly as possible.
2. Dry it off with a towel or something similar. If it is still on, turn it off immediately. Note: running power through wet electronics can damage them beyond repair.
3. Remove the battery, SIM card etc off the phone. If possible, remove the rear glass panel too. Apple uses two special 5-point Pentalobe screws to secure the back.
4. Grab a bowl and fill it with uncooked rice or you can also put your iPhone 5 in with a bunch of silica packets.
5. Bury the iPhone in a bowl of rice and cover it up.
6. Last step is: wait day or two.

Iphoto is not allowing to cut and paste when under photos.

I went to use Iphoto and it is not allowing me to copy or cut photos from one section of the photo library to another. If I cut them, the paste button does not light up. I tried using copy and the same thing. Photos appear to copy, but it does not allow me to paste them.

Because pasting would change the sorting if you paste out of sequence. The Library (and that's Events and Photos view) is sorted automatically, and manual sorting is not available there.
Make Albums and you can drag the images to any order you want.

Two ways.
- You can sync with the new computer by following these instructions

All the apps have to be in the iTunes library so the app data will have a place to go.
- Or just restore from iCloud backup. That will also pull down the apps from iCloud. Your apps data will also be restored.

Using windows7..I can not longer copy and paste, cut and paste. what happened?

Using windows 7, on a Compaq Presario, for a time now, I am not able to cut and paste, or copy and paste. Used to work by right click, highlite copy, got to word page and paste. I cannot get right click to bring this box up. What is happening?

I can't either. It is helpful when needing a link to send to a classmate via email. I also can't copy address bar because the complete adress no longer shows. I like XP. My Vista does better. This is a major problem when doing large papers 4 class. I use Son of Citation. You have to be able to copy paste. I have enough class work to do I don't need more...

How do you cut and paste tables in and out of Excel from either Mail.app or Outlook 2011?

When I try to cut and paste a table generated in Excel for Mac into the body of an email the formatting holds but when I send the table is reduced to one column. Same is true for copying from incoming mail into Excel, when I paste into Excel it is reduced to one column rather than keeping the table format. I have tried using mail.app and went out and Outlook 2011 and both programs have the same issue. The reformatting also happens when I forward an email received from a coworker that contains a table, not just on cut and paste operations.
I need to do this regularly and right now my only option is using my old PC where the cut and paste function keeps formatting between Excel and Outlook just fine. Attaching a pdf or excel file is not an option. There has to be a way to maintain the formatting and being able to extract the tables keeping them intact. Selecting all does not help - the issue is I need a table within an incoming email to be moved to excel, edited and then pasted back into a new email. "Select All" picks up the email headers, signatures, any messages around the table etc so that doesn't work. Also, as pointed out above Excel doesn't have a select all feature to get the tables back into the body of an email.
I just tried again going from Excel into Outlook 2011. No luck. All one column down the left side of the email. All columns are removed and text crammed into one column. Just to check I cut from one Excel document and pasted into another and it retained all formating just fine. It is only in and out of Outlook that seems to be the issue.

I've suddenly lost the Cut and paste function.... Firefox or system problem?

seems it is a known issue and yet to be resolved.
SCN Known Issues List > MKT-256 Cannot Paste Text into SCN Text Editor when Using IE 11.
A workaround could be: SCN and Internet Explorer 11

Invalid registration using cut and paste.

I just reinstalled Window xp, QuickTime and other applications.
After cutting and pasting my name and registration number in the appropriate section of QT Player, I only get an "invalid registration" indication in the Quick Time Preferences window.
What do I do to remedy this?

In that case, Terminal is ignoring the Mac lineendings. I have the same problem with text pasted from editors like Tex-Edit, however Tex-Edit includes plenty of menu tools for text conversion. The characters are still there but are invisible, so running a script on the window converts the lineendings from any to any format. This is an old story with Macs vs UNIX vs DOS. Every system has its own linendings

One of our client has a SQL query like this:

From the error message that you posted it seems that you are putting a semicolon ";" at the end of your query. I checked the query that you have posted. It is working fine for me. (I am using 3.0.8) but I feel it will work in your version also. I tried the query without a ";" at the end --It worked.
I tried with ";" at the end -- It gave the error that you have posted. So remove the ";" at the end and it should work. If you are still getting the same error then pls write down the version you are using. I will check in that version.
