Encryption is now part of the Email Security forum

With the release of AsyncOS 5.5.0 for Email, the encryption feature is integrated into the Email Security Appliance. We've integrated the Encryption forum into the Email Security forum to reflect this change.

Setting up encryption to be applied to outbound email that gets relayed through the Ironport appliance is quick and straight-forward. In a matter of minutes, you can get this feature up and running. Contact Ironport technical support if you have any questions or comments on how to use the encryption feature.

Firefox sent an email to me to confirm that I had asked the above question. The email had a link to click. When I clicked it from Firefox, nothing happened. Then I opened IE, signed into Comcast, opened the email, clicked the link, and it brought me here.

Whn sending my emails with an attachment they are not received by the recipient as an attachment. It forms part of the email rather than as a n attachment. Recipient therefore cannot save or download my PDF. How can I change this?

The phone is just stuck on the verify email screen and my mail is already verified by appleid. iv tried multiple working iTunes accounts but still no go.

Hello userlarry, do you have Mobile Me? You could use that. Or you could compress them, you would still need to send them in an email, but it would help with size limitations of emails.
To compress them, put them in a folder and right click on the folder. You should see a Compress option. Then just drag the .zip file into your mail.

Just repaired cracked iPhone 4 screen and now part of the screen isn't working.

A few days ago, I cracked my iPhone 4's screen pretty badly. I was having absolutely no trouble with the screen after I cracked it, aside from the crack, of course. I just got the screen repaired yesterday and now the bottom left part of the screen sometimes doesn't work. When I'm using the keypad, the following characters are affected:
RDFCX (and sometimes E) 4 ; , } ~
Also, sometimes, when I press that part of the screen, it's as if the phone doesn't recognize my touch. This is affecting scrolling, the ability to move the cursor, and makes it hard for me to unlock my phone because sometimes the bar along the bottom won't slide. However, when I select apps using that portion of the screen on the home screen, it works just fine.
This started yesterday, about 2 hours after I got my screen fixed, then went away on its own a few hours later, and came back this morning.
Does anyone know what this problem is/ what I should do about it? I'm definitely going to go back into the store that fixed my phone and see if they can correct it.
**I did not get my phone fixed at the Apple store, I went to a store called BuyNCell which specializes in repairs of Apple and Blackberry products. I got my screen repaired as well as changed the casing on my phone to white.
Hopefully someone can help explain to me what's going on. Thank you!!

This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

Hold the comand, shift keys and tap the '+' key will increase the font size in any app.
You can also set the font size in the Mail Preferences.

I installed the latest update, and tried to reply to an email right after. The email looked like a bunch of cymbals, arrows, font names, parts of the email. So I opened it up with Internet Explorer, and all was normal. How do I get this fixed?

The latest update was the source of the problem. I was replying to emails, and the update popped up. I updated. I continued to reply to emails, and the whole page had arrows, symbols, brackets, font names, red correction lines, etc.

I look at it like this, it was a solution to my problem. There is obviously something wrong with the new version. When everyone starts complaining, and some genius figures out the fix, then I will worry about the upgrade. Until then, I am fine with running 4.0. I have to disagree with you though. 6.0 is a downgrade for sure. There is a lot to be desired compared to this version. Who wants price gong, and screwed up emails. Not me. The problem is out there, and now someone needs to work on the bug fixes on this BETA version.

Outgoing email is in "raw text" instead of HTML. Very annoying to have tiny print and 50 lines of "commands" not part of the email.

OK, If you haven't already figured it out, I may have a solution. I googled the term: "how to install an older version of mozilla firefox". I found the site : Oldapps.com. I installed 4.0, which is the older version. I made sure to clear the cache, cookies, and history. Then I restarted the computer. All was good for me. I hope it works for you. Good luck!

You want to have a current backup of your iPhoto library so that you don't lose all of your organizational efforts if your lose it for any reason.
Give the following a go:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I just did a Safari update and now the google search box is intergrated with the browser address. I'd like it back the way it was, seperate. Any way to accomplish this?

Smart Search Field. Safari now has one field for typing both searches and web addresses.
Unfortunately there is no way to have separate fields for Google search and web addresses.

It finally arrived - and very impressed I am too. No odd noises/whines to mention. The only things I notice are the vibration from hard disk and how hot it gets. It'll certainly be a friend during those long cold winter evenings!
The speakers are fine for a notebook computer and the only trouble I had with my wireless router was finding the WEP key!

All MBP's have the CPU whine. The sound is at the threshold of some people's (especially older folk's) hearing. Also, the sound goes away when you plug your MBP in (comes on again when you go back on battery).
I get a kick out of people who say they don't have it. I have seen several of these machines and they all have it. Some have the LCD buzz too (mine doesn't).
If you can't hear it, it is because A, your hearing is bad, B, you don't use

How do install EPC header on the ASR router? or is it now part of the IOS?

There was a discussion of using the router to look at the trace capture from the router, I downloaded the EPC header, but don't know to install. Is there any documentation on how to install the script file onto the ASR router? Thank you
