Why is Firefox crashing when I am playing You Tube favorites playlists and other You Tube videos?

Lately within the last 2-3 weeks I have had a lot of crashes on my computer when I am running Firefox version 3.6.3 and trying to watch You Tube videos. It seems to only crash when I am on You Tube. It crashes even quicker when I am on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. I have installed the latest version of Adobe Flashplayer recently. I never had trouble watching You Tube videos until recently. The You Tube site will open, I sign in, and then I go to my subscriptions or favorites and select a video. It will begin to play, get a minute or so in, and then I get the error message that it's crashed.

I am not sure I did this right. This is what I did: right-mouse clicked on the desktop, whent to properties, went to display properties, went to settings, clicked on advanced tab, and then clicked on troubleshooting tab. There I drug the hardware acceleration slider to the left to disable it, clicked ok twice as directed, restarted the computer and then I couldn't get firefox to open at all, but I went to internet explorer and got on you tube and tried to watch a video, but it crashed again.
So I don't think that worked. I couldn't figure out how to disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin, but did it on the desktop instead. Are there different steps I need to take to accomplish this?

You Tube App no longer working iPad1 Workaround loses all my saved favorites Why?

Hi everyone!
The default youtube app on my iPad1, IOS 5.1.1 stopped working about a week ago, presenting "cannot connect to You Tube " as the only Error message. No Explanation.. no choices... . It shows a sign in screen, no data can be accepted as it says it "cannot connect to You Tube".
I tried contacting You Tube by various means. Almost impossible to get through. I got a phone number. But they had overload for a week or two now, so saying call back at another time for the "You Tube" choice 3. Now it says Choice 5 for You Tube questions and a recorded message (no possibility to speak to a human) directs us to go to "You Tube" .com / support. No help there... old old connection problems solved back in 2009 and iPods, iPhones NO iPads at all... Frustrated...I left that avenue.
I went to this Help Forum called reddit (before I realized they stole your apple logo) but their answers said to try using the Internet version of You Tube to get around this problem. So I managed to get the You Tube "mobile" connection on the web to work instead.
BUT! All my saved/favorites from the iPad 1 are missing!
Instead there is a hodgepodge of various You Tubes I've views on other computer devices I've used to access the web from the same ISP, but NOT the sign in /log in for the iPad1!
How to get my old iPad login working again for all of my favorite You Tube (mostly valuable computer tutorials? Mostly they are on how to use various apps on the iPad that would take long time or "forever" to search again to get back.
How to get all my years (five!!) of saved favorite You Tubes I carry with me on the iPad back again? (I can't carry a desktop computer around, right?).
What is going on here??
Does anyone else experience this problem?
The initial question here came up empty as no one on Apple Community has asked this question before! Does that mean I'm the only one here asking about the You Tube App on the Apple Community?

From what I have been reading on other sites, the app stopoed working when the iPhone 4S was released since it includes Siri. If you look at the box on the right of this thread, you will see other threads just like this one on how the app no longer works.

I never had to sign to you tube to view my favorites, the Ipod is now asking for me to sign in because I can't pull up my favorites and I don't recall username or password used for you tube.

After going to YouTube - Reset PW and having completed that I am still getting message that Authentication Failed The username or password you entered is incorrect.
Question is the following is the you tube password the same for computer, Iphone and Ipod? I just don't see on the Ipod itself where to retrieve it, been at this for hours.

You Tube Favorites from Two Sources

I am adding You tube favorites from both my iPhone 3Gs and my Apple TV. When I merge the two, many of my saved favorites do not play. I get a couple of different error messages: Account suspended, inappropriate content, and video does not currently support iPhone. I understand the last message, but why the first two? Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

YouTube is not now part of iOS 6.
However, you can go to the App Store and do a search using YouTube. You can download several YouTube apps: YouTube (for the iPhone, a IPad app is in work), several users like Jasmine and YouPlayer.

You tube app not loading videos.... Today, This Week, All. Why?

Hi all.
Im wondering if there are similiar issues with you tube. My app wont load videos from tabbing , Today, this week or all. The screen is blank but just says "no videos.".
I can play vids from search and favorites but nothing else. Ive tried closing the app and shutting down. Any hints or solutions.

Haven't tried it since I update until I read your post. I am getting the same results that you are getting - identical. I can access my stuff but not Featured, Most Viewed or Top Rated.

I just installed the you tube app on my iPhone 5. I created a new username, verified the username by email and am currently logged in.
Yet I am unable to add any video to favorites (I receive an error message saying an error occurred, and get the same message no matter what video I attempt.
Likewise, when attempting to create a playlist I get a very similar message regardless of what video I attempt.
100% certain I am logged in.
Any suggestions?

Useless you tube viewer

Any one have a way to get rid of this useless you tube viewer? Half the videos on YouTube it won't let you view anyway. Basically if it wasn't shot in a dorm room or somebody's basement you can see it. Unless of course it's ****! All the **** sights are iPad compatible, bet that make you proud here at apple. Can't watch my favorite bands channel on you tube but I can see some poor drug addled teenager throw her life away and be abused for that next hit. Anyway I want the YouTube viewer off my ipad. Do i need to J.B. it and load a flash program?

No I can go to my lap top and see videos that even with a direct link my iPad will not play. For example. I wanted to look up one of my favorite videos, Mykonos , by fleet foxes. I know the official video is there. I know the band put it up on you tube for all the world to see. But the Ipad YouTube player will not play it. It will let me watch people cover the song but not the content from the band. Has todo with iTunes wanting me to buy the video that the band put out for us all to see free. I think I'm going to cut my losses and jail break the thing. The guy at the apple store recommended I do it anyway because it let's you use their mouse and other devices with your iPad.

Where is my you tube icon?

The latest version of my I pad has taken away my you tube icon. I don't like it as my favorites are used to be a snapshot image and easy to find under favorites . Now they are alph numerical codes in safari 's favorites! Not good apple,
I hope a new version is on its way to replace as that was my most used app.!!!!

In the mean time you can use the iPhone version. Your Favourite will be in there.

Yet another question about you tube/ios6

Ok. I downloaded jasmin looks excellent and actually found my missing favorite videos. But, now they pop up that "you tube" has restricted them!!! yet they play on my imac.
Does anyone know why you tube would suddenly restrict a perfectly harmless set of videos ( musical band, playing cover versions of U2) so nothing that would warrent restricting play. (only happens on the ipad)
Why does the Ipad not play these videos. It plays others ok.
Does anyone know how I can overcome this problem please?

The GT70 CAN come with an adapter that has 2 (on the older, GT70 0NX models) or 3 (on newer GT70 20X models) sockets for mSATA drives. It's an optional part, that takes place of the primary SATA drive in the notebook, and physically has a different part that connects to the motherboard. If it doesn't come with the SuperRaid adapter, then it just has support for a single 2.5" SATA drive.
The GS70 on the otherhand, has this built into the motherboard and there is no swapping it out for a normal 2.5" SATA drive. You can only use mSATA drives (on those ports). The GS70 is meant to be an ultrabook, and therefore does not have the same ability as the GT70 to house up to 2 full size 2.5" SATA drives.
That's really the main difference here. Without physically seeing a GT70 to see how the SuperRaid adapter works, it's slightly difficult to explain.
But in the end, I wouldn't worry about the SuperRaid....The GS70 should have support for Intel Raid Management Engine, in which case that's all you really need.

a few that I am having problems with. I would be most grateful if anyone could help me with the following:

2.) Skyeping.
3.) Using voice control for other functions other then making phone calls.

To access Spotlight, swipe down on your home screen, starting somewhere below the top of your screen. Type "App Store" into the resulting search bar.
