End of GOOGLE SYNC work around (or app) for WIRELESS sync for Gmail calendar

i use my google calendar exclusively -no Outlook at all, no desktop manager ever.
With my Curve i used to use GOOGLE SYNC to immediately update and sync manually.
There is no more GOOGLE SYNC (support ended) ... Not for my new Tour as it still was working on Curve 12/12/12.
I timed my update I made on my Google calendar online and it took 30 minutes for the bbery calendar to show the update using the wireless sync in the Tour setup.
HOW CAN I MANUALLY tell my bberry to sync wirelessly instead of waiting for however long it takes to auto sync ?
Why did it take so long?
is there a WIRELESS work around or an APP for the end of Google sync?

Could you please ellaborate on which other helps, you've tried?
Data plans are not available for 9780 in Denmark, rendering me unable to access my Google Calendar, except from going through a browser - not ideal, by any means.
So... Any workaround would be appreciated - even only for primary calendar.
I know Nokia has working apps such as Googasync, but I'm unable to find similar for BB (which is curious, as they are both based on S60).

If you open the Kindle app on your iPad, then in the bottom right-corner should be an 'i'' button - touch that and you should then get a pop-up with the top option being Settings, which should then allow you to link it to your Amazon account and let you download any kindle books that you've already bought.

I have an Iad2 and ever since ios6-there are issues.I get occasional lock-ups and have to reboot. The WSJ app freezes when running their videos to the end. The only work-around is to stop the video before it's over. Worse than windows me !!!!!

My Ipad2 worked perfectly before ios6 upgrade. It now freezes occasionally and I have to reboot to get it to work. Also the WSJ app will now freeze if I try and run one of their videos that is imbedded in the article. My only work-around is to stop (press done) before the end of the video or I have to do a total reboot. The problems remind me of Windows ME . Will Apple resolve these issues or become more like Microsoft. Hopefully there will be a restore button in the future like Microsoft was forced to do because a lot of upgrades are just terrible. Am I crazy or are there other people having the same issues with ios6, or could this just be a coincidence and my ipad2 is starting to fail just when ios6 arrives ?

I know this will not help but, the bluetooth headset I purchased for my wife works great and it pairs with our car and our sound bar in the livingroom (Motorola Droid Razr) 98.72.16.XT912.Verizon.en.US
However I did not upgrade over the air but from a android web site and placed it on my external sd card. I believe this made the difference in why we had no issues and upgraded functionality has been great.
Please note when I mention these bluetooth devices I mean the Razr connects with no problems.
It also had no internet issues and none of the problems others have complained about in other threads.
unfortunately when you say thousands have these issues I cannot say that is accurate. The hope is when large numbers of owners have updated to the Jelly Bean and are complaining inmase then Motorola will issue a patch to verizon to get out to the affected users.
Of course now that Google owns Motorola Mobility and has laid off loads of workers it may never issue an os patch.

IPhone PC WIN/XP Syncing "work around"

I'm starting this tread to share a method I've found to workaround the I issue I'm having here, http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1346392&tstart=0
Since I can not sync my Outlook contacts and calendar with the iPhone, I looked for a method to sync them with the iMAC iCal and Address book. Then do all my syncing from the iMac. This is what I found. This is not an endorsement of any product. In fact if others know of another way, please share.
Found a free product called Plaxo, http://pulse.plaxo.com . It works with Outlook and the iMac. I installed it on the iMac and PC. Seems to be working okay. There are some issues with recurring events. Also with first sync I had some duplicate entries. Make sure Outlook, Plaxo and iMac are all using just 1 calendar. Plaxo may create a second one. But I can work around the.
So for now I'm using this method.

Syncing ACT contacts while on automatic wireless syncing with Microsoft Exchange Server?

Does anyone know if this is possible? At the moment, my company is automatically performing a wireless sync between Outlook contacts and their Blackberry Curve 8330 devices. However, employees that travel also need their ACT contacts on their phone. I've researched CompanionLink and know that I can get the ACT contacts directly onto the Blackberry that way, but, the problem arises where the ACT contacts will end up syncing back to the Exchange server -- which we don't want. We want to keep the automatic syncing with Outlook, but periodically we want to do a one-way ACT transfer onto our Blackberries, without having those extra (approximately 5,000) contacts go back into Outlook. Is there an easy way to categorize/separate Outlook and ACT? Any ideas or workarounds?

I'm looking at the Internode setup guides and it looks as though you have a POP server. In that case, if you want to sync directly to the server, you would want to set it up for POP/SMTP rather than for Microsoft Exchange Server. Does that help?
If you do not want to sync over the air and instead want to sync only by USB/Bluetooth to your PC, I think that works quite differently. I don't have any experience with that.

Iphone 5 / Ipad not visible in itunes for wireless syncing

Hi
Could anyone shed any light in to why my devices randomly decide not to show in the left hand side of itunes when they can sometimes be only a few feet from the router - it does seem to be random as they often do show - but you can guarantee when I want to wirelessly sync they do not show and I'm back to good old tethering again.

Sync ith only one computer. When you sync with the second anything acquired from the first computer will be erased. Syncing back with the first computer will erase everything synced from the second computer.
Put all your stuff on one of the computers and sync with only that one.

Work around to force trigger Accounting documents for Billing documents

Hi All,
I have an issue very similar to:
[Accounting Document not posted for Cancelled Invoice -error in FI interface|Accounting Document not posted for Cancelled Invoice -error in FI interface]
The invoices number range were changed recently and few documents created during that time range did not create the accounting documents. Now, if I try VF02-> ReleasetoAccounting, it says:
"Incorrect doc.no.: 98020923. Select document number between 3000000000 and 3999999999."
Is there a workaround here to re-trigger the accounting documents for these Cancellation documents(Type S1)?
I've also tried cancelling them, but I get the below error message:
"For billing type S1, no cancellation billing type is maintained"
I've found a few hits when i searched the forum but none talked about a workaround.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I've checked the note, it states the below steps for the solution:
1) Implement Notes 331771 and 363717 first if they are relevant for your release.
2) Implement the attached program corrections
3) Branch to Customizing of the billing document types and enter a cancellation billing document type for the affected billing document type of the cancellation document itself.
I was wondering if only the step 3 will be enough to cancel the cancellation invoices. I am still not sure what is the significance of point (2) here.
I haven't implemented a SAP note so far, have you encountered this problem, and have you implemented the whole three steps?

The only workaround would be to purchase the current version of iLife apps from the App Store.
Lion doesn't support the old PowerPC architecture anymore, which is what iLife '06 was written for.
If the internal apps are universal, right-click on the mpkg and choose Show Contents. Then, dig through and run the specific installer package for each application.

Work around for power PC program

I purchased a book with CD ROM. It was supposed to work with Macs up to 10.6 but I keep getting a message that power PC is no longer supported. I called McGraw Hill and they claim Apple dropped the support after 10.6. Is there a work around?

Premier Pro CS6 AVCHD work around

After installing CS6 and using may applications I removed CS5. I then discovered the problem with Panasonic AVCHD files being functionally unusable. After looking at the threads here, it appears I am not alone and there is no word on an target date for a fix. I decided to use the media encoder to rewrap the .mts files as .mp4. They are about 25% smaller and everyting appears to work as advertised. I have the luxury of having computers everywhere and simply set this task up on an idle box. It takes some preplanning, but I will simply start the process of converting all the raw footage scheduled to edit and wack away at it.
Is there a downside?
Is there any news on a target date for a fix?

I've got NO problem whatsoever bringing AVCHD files into Premiere Pro CS6. It works great. I can do it all day long.
I've noticed that no one here has mentioned a very basic detail. That is what operating system you all are using. There are some changes around the way that OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion) handles AVCHD files, but those changes don't stop CS6 from importing the files. It can however, cause some issues with older projects that were created before installing 10.8, but those can be worked around.
The most common cause for not being able to import AVCHD files (you get a file format is not supported error), is that you haven't activated Premiere Pro CS6 (or you are running in the trial mode). Until you activate, you are unable to import ANY mpeg compressed file. This has to do with paying mpeg licensing fees to MPEG LA.
If you've activated your software and you still can't import AVCHD files, trash the Premiere Pro CS6 prefs file, trash the plugin cache and relaunch the program. Or...call Adobe technical support.

Sync problems with Gmail Calendar

Hi,
got my new Z10 and I´m very happy with it. My problem is that the sync with my google calendar works only partially.
Sometimes all dates are displayed, in the next moment all of them are gone.
I also tried the instruction from this forum for setting up the gmail calendar, but unfortunately it didn´t work.
Any ideas how to fix that?
