  • End of Support Life for CF MX 8

With the release of ColdFusion MX 9 has an end of support life been announced for CF MX 8?

As they still support CFMX7 (2005), I think it'll be a while before they stop supporting CF8 (2007).

  • End of support lifecycle for Crystal reports 9.0 and 10.5

    Hi,
I am trying to find end of support date for Crystal Reports 9.0 and 10.5. Is there a link where I could find this information?
What are the option available to upgrade? Costs, etc...
    Thanks

    Hi,
Support for Crystal Reports ver 9 and 10.5 has already ended and as such no longer available in our Service Market Place (SMP - https://service.sap.com/support) Product Availability Matrix.
The latest version is Crystal Report 2008 V1 which has a Maintenance End date of Dec 31, 2015.
For options to upgrade and costs, please call your nearest Customer Interaction Center (CIC) and they should be able to guide you to appropriate team.
CIC's number can be found in SMP > Help & Support tab > Look up Support Center Addresses sub tab.
    Hope this helps.

  • Business Connector end of support

Does anyone know for sure the date that SAP will end support for BC? We are planning our projects for the next year and need to decide should we go to XI now or not.
    Thanks
    Mike Curtis

    Hi Christine,
but in the BC case you need to remember one more thing...
    JDK 1.3
    from java.sun.com
J2SE 1.3.1 has begun the Sun End of Life (EOL) process. The EOL transition period is from Oct 25, 2004 until the General Availability (GA) of the next Java version, Java SE 6 (code name Mustang).
so even if SAP will provide any updates it may not
work with unsupported java right ?
and java SE 6 will probably be sooner than
end of BC support I believe

  • End of support for old Solaris releases

I searched the web site, but I couldn't find when Sun will stop supporting older releases (i.e. Solaris 2.6).
Can anyone tell me how I can find out?

Another procedure that has worked well for me over the years.
    Go to Sun's web page.
    http://www,sun.com
In the top corner of the web page, there is a search area.
Put in keyword eosl (for "end of support life").
The search results will bring up most every topic related
to Sun's philosophies and policies on the subject. More than you'd ever choose to read.
As an example, there were more than 225 search results today.
    http://onesearch.sun.com/search/onesearch/index.jsp?qt=eosl&charset=UTF-8
Keyword eol (for "end of life") is also a valid search word,
but produces more than 1500 search results.

  • BEx End-Of-Support

Can someone from SAP provide some details about the BEx end-of-life schedule/timeline.  If there is a document describing this, you could just refer to that document.  I'm not talking about end of enhancements, rather end of support.  Thanks.
Edited by: Jon H Goldberg on Jan 22, 2010 10:20 PM

    HI Jon,
First consider that Business Explorer (BEx) suite of products is not anymore included in SAPu2019s long-term BI strategy.
I haven't seen any "end-of-maintenance" date stated yet for BEx. Officially SAP advises to migrate to BusinessObjects portfolio (e.g. Crystal Reports or new tool called Pioneer as will be available during 2010) in case of new projects, new developments, etc..
So I think they will still support it also in long term perspective but there will be no new versions of any BEx family products.

  • EoS (end of support) AsyncOS 7.5.2-014 of ESA

    Hi All,
I would like to know about end of support for AsyncOS 7.5.2-014 of ESA  and I want official document  end of support announcement from cisco. Please give link or document if some who have it.
    Thanks,

EOL dates and information can be found here:
    http://www.cisco.com/web/ironport/asyncOS_esa_eol_dates.html
7.5.2-014 would have been EOL as of April 30, 2014.
    Full EOL info:
    http://www.cisco.com/web/ironport/product_discontinuance.html
Cisco IronPort AsyncOS and Mail Flow Central software releases are supported for up to eighteen (18) months from the First Customer Shipment Date (FCS), or two (2) subsequent major releases of such software, whichever occurs first. At such time, the software reaches EOL. Major releases of the software are designated as an increment in the first number in a release designation (i.e. 4.y.z to 5.y.z).
At EOL, Engineering, Customer Support and the Cisco IronPort Threat Operations Center no longer provide support for the software release. Thus, update releases (e.g. service, maintenance, and patches) are no longer created for the software release and "signatures," "rules," or similar data services may not be compatible with discontinued versions of the software. To receive software support and updates, customers are required to upgrade to a supported version of the software.

  • We are in urgent need of the end of support date for Firefox 3.6. I have been unable to find this information anywhere. Can someone please provide the date, or a link to the location on the Mozilla web site for lifecycle dates?

We are currently supporting an older application which will no longer be patched for future browser releases. We need the end of support date, so we can plan accordingly. Any assistance is truly appreciated.

Hi Tony, and thanks for the reply. I was hoping that might be the case.
Does Mozilla not publish lifecycle dates for Firefox? The reason I am inquiring further, is that our intention is to have upgraded the product we are currently running by late August of next year. I was trying to determine if 3.6 would be supported through August of 2012. I probably should have been more specific with my initial post.

  • End of Support Oracle Identity Manager 10g

    Hi,
Any idea on end of support for OIM 10g (9.1x) version?
Till what month can we sell and implement the OIM 10g version?
    Please let me know.
    Cheers
    Kunal jain

    Hello,
Considering the architectural change (reconciliation engine, request flow, etc...) and the environment - the migration path doesn't look very easy.
I think there is enough time in terms of couple of years available before 10g support closure.
    Thanks,

  • FAQ's for end to end IT support.

    Hi
Its Ajit again. I'd appreciate help on this one especially. I need to know what kind of questions do i need to ask to a client if I approach them for end to end IT support.
This is something that I'm currently working on.
For example: 1) How big is the IT infrastructure of the client
    2) How big is there database
    3) Questions about hardware like,
    a) How many servers have they got?
    b) HP servers, IBM servers etc?
    4) What applications are they using?
5)What OS are they working on?
    so on ans so forth.
Would really appreciate if i get more questions to add to my list so that i can serve my cleint in the best possible way.
    Ajit.

    That's nothing!
An engineer and I contacted Adobe technical support by phone to ensure the PC I was having custom built was configured to its optimum. They advised XP64 as the best operating environment. After that discussion we had to completely revise procurement, etc to get the bits and compatible XP64 compatible software, putting the build project back a few weeks as well, Imagine how I laughed when I found out on one of these forums that XP64 is the worst choice and totally unsupported by CS4!
I have written to Shantanu Narayen, Adobe CEO and didn't even get an acknowledgement I raised this last week on the Adobe stand at BVE and was told they'd get someone to contact me asap but guess what, niet...! To be fair there has been one Adobe executive that recognises the problem and the damage poor customer support is causing the company; he has been as helpful as he can. Unfortunately, it seems the overall Adobe culture at the top is "get the money and run". If your problem goes beyond what's already on their web pages, tough luck!

  • 15530 - End of Support

We have 2 15530 dwdm chassis connected between 2 data centers via dark fiber and their almost at end of support. Our implementation is very simple with only 2 desparate paths carrying 8GB of FC and Ethernet. I have an basic understanding of DWDM but would appreciate some expert advice. The natural replacement seems to be the 15454 but I've noticed that there are N7K dwdm modules and can't find any detailed literature. I wondered if 2 N7K could be a viable replacement for the existing 15530 to support both fiber channel and ethernet traffic without giving up the advanced protect features of the ONS equipment.
    Thanks in advance,

Are you saying the DWDM modules for the N7K doesn't multiplex FC and ethernet and I would need to run FC over a different pair?
Yes these modules dont mulitplex. Earlier Optical mudules when have to go over a DWDM box need a special card in DWDM box to connect these optical mudules in switch/router. But now these modules have the same spec (specially the wavelength ) like a DWDM module so they can directly connecetd to DWDM box without any intermediate card.
You cna check the price of a DWDM module in N7K will be much more than a module which you can just connect over fiber.
I had hoped that I would be able to connect both FC and ethernet to the  chassis and multiplex the traffic via different lightwaves over the DWDM  modules.
I am not aware of any such product but the way intergration is happening. I will not be surprised to see any such module in future.

  • End of support of Windows XP

    Hi
Afetr 8th of April, what will happen with daylight saving time updates, and other updates?
Is there going to be any updates at all?

When Microsoft says "END OF SUPPORT" that includes ALL system updating.  It ends.
