The policy is to support the current shipping version plus two back versions but when EOL is announced on a major product family, Sun will provide support for a subsequent 1.5 year period.

  • End of life for 8.0.5

Does anyone know if and when there is 'end-of-life' for version 8.0.5 on HPUx?
I need to educate myself and my client?

    Robert,
The real EOL date of Tuxedo 8.1 is 2-28-2009, and the extended support is 2-28-2011, as you saw at http://support.bea.com/product_news/Product_Retirement_Calendar.xls.
12-31-2013 you saw at http://e-docs.bea.com/tuxedo/tux81/install/inspds.htm#1609465 is the EOL date of HP-UX 11.11PA-RISC posted by HP, you can saw the header of that column. As we mentioned at http://e-docs.bea.com/tuxedo/tux81/install/inspds.htm#1369557, if one OS is EOLed by the OS vendor at some date earlier than EOL date of that Tuxedo release, BEA support to Tuxedo on that release will be discontinued immediately. That's purpose we list OS EOL date, just for reference, but it is subject to change due to policy change of OS vendors.

  • End of Life for Oracle 9i

I am looking for information about Oracle 9i end of life. Any pointer to an Oracle DB product roadmap would be a plus.
    cheers

Assuming you have a support contract, go to http://metalink.oracle.com and choose the Certification and Availability Matrix. That will tell you what platforms a particular product is certified on as well as the desupport dates, which may vary by operating system.

  • Where can I find information regarding end of life or product lifecycle of Lenovo products

The psrefs files are chockful of great information, however,  as an IT Manager, I need to be able to anticipate when models will be available for purchase, and when not.  We use the Image Ultra Builder extensively to deploy or replace 5-600 laptops/ldesktops annually. If a particular model is no longer available, I have to not only forecast when I can order a certain model, but also allow a ramp-up time when I have to order a new model, build a new IUB, test it, before we introduce in the production environment. Thank you, in advance, for your help!

  • Period end closing step for product cost collector

    Hi All,
I have never worked in repetitive manufacturing environment before. My client is implementing repetitive manufacturing with backflush. Could someone clarify me the following.
I have understood from the documents that we need to do the following:
    1. cost center allocations
    2. Calculate the actual activity price (KSII)
    3. Revaluate all the cost collectors with the actual activity prices
    4. Overhead calculation
    5. Variance calculation
    6. Settlement of cost collectors
Could someone tell me, does all the above period end steps are followed in the industries? Otherwise, could you write what is actually followed.
    Thanks
    Susan

The steps are correct. In case you are using reporting point backflash, then you need to execute WIP calculation as well. For this you need to include following activities before variance calculation.
    1. change WIP cut off period (KKA0)
    2. Execute WIP calculation - Collective (KKA0)

  • End of life for panther

Does anyone know how long Panther is supported? I want to upgrade but need some business justification for ordering. Thanks

    PennDOT:
    Welcome to Discussions.
I see that you have 10.3.9. You are therefore familiar with the OS. As Kappy said, Apple will continue to support Users, although there will be no more updates. Panther is a fine OS, but obviously Tiger is the newest product, and has its merits. My guess is that there are many of us who will be using Panther for a while.
    Good luck.

  • Acrobat DC products - End of Life

Can anyone tell me what the projected End of Life for the DC products will be? I am unable to purchase the new Acrobat DC products until I can prove the length of support that is available from Adobe. I tried to point them to the different service plans that we could get upon purchase, but what my approval folks really want to know is what is the End of Life of the products. I tried to ask via Chat but they could not help me.

    Hi lisaw1111,
I can understand you concern & will guide you in the right direction.
Adobe Acrobat support for any particular version ends with the release of two forward versions. For Example Adobe will ended the support for Acrobat X soon as Acrobat DC has been launched.
Similarly Adobe will end the Support for Acrobat DC with the launch of two forward versions & there is no estimated time of launch for next version of Acrobat, so its quite difficult to project the End of Life of the product.
I hope this information will be of some help.
In case if you have any further query please let us know. We will be happy to assist you.

    Q. How much longer will FrameMaker 7.0 for Macintosh be available?
    A. Adobe FrameMaker 7.0 for Macintosh will be available to distributors and licensing customers and through the Adobe Store, until April 21, 2004.
    Q. Will Adobe release another version of FrameMaker for Solaris and Windows?
    A. Its our policy not to disclose future product plans but moving forward, Adobe's planned development efforts for FrameMaker will focus on the Windows and Solaris platforms.
    Q. Will Macintosh users continue to get support from Adobe on FrameMaker?
    A. Adobe will continue to provide complimentary support for FrameMaker 7.0 for Macintosh until April 21, 2005, approximately one year. Adobe will honor fee-based technical support contracts for the Mac version until they expire. Adobe Open Option (AOO) maintenance contracts can no longer be ordered.
