End of maintenance for GTS 8.0 still March 2013?

Hi all
As GTS 8.0 is NetWeaver 7.00-based, does the extension of mainstream maintenance described in Note 1648480 apply for GTS 8.0 or just 10.0? Anyone have any experience of this in terms of maintenance planning? I have a customer going live with 8.0 after an extended implementation project in March, as the Product Availability Matrix (PAM) currently stands they would need to upgrade to 10.0 within a year in order to remain in mainstream maintenance.

I had the same question and just confirmed with our support representative that extended maintenance will not be offered for GTS 8.0.

Release BI 7.0 front-end add-on for SAP GUI 7.10, Support Package 700

In SAP note 1238872 the release of new support package has been mentioned (Quote: "Download the BI 7.0 front-end add-on for SAP GUI 7.10, Support Package 700 from the SAP Service Marketplace.")
So, can someone tell me, when this Support Package will be released?
(At the moment the last version provided in download area is 6.02)

Thanks, but my question was not how can I workaround, cause I was able to read that note. (Unfortunatly the workaround solves the problem for the query designer only and the error still persists when executing the query)

Not sure where you're getting this idea from but it doesn't matter how you purchase the software (Suite or standalone) the answer is still, no.
One license, one platform (Mac or Win)
Mac software works on Mac only.
Win software works on Win only.
From the End User License Agreement (EULA)
2.11 Dual Boot Platform. The Software is licensed for use on a specific operating system platform. You
must purchase a separate license for use of the Software on each operating system platform. By way of
example, if you desire to install the Software on both the Mac OS and Windows operating system platforms

From your repeated questions on this topic, does it mean that you have a Mac desktop and a Win laptop and you're trying the find the cheapest route to get DW and Flash Builder on both?

Your R/3 plug-in will be in mainstream maintenance until end of January 2006 ( https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000477981& ) and BW (regular maintenance) until November 2005.

Preventive maintenance for maintenance assembly

          I want to Preventive Maintenance for Maintenance Assembly.( IBAU). When I create a maintenance plan I cant specify Assembly ( Only Equipment or Functional location can be selected).
            I checked the customization settings where I have specified Screen object type as FLEquipmentAssembly but still i cant see Assembly field in the maintenance plan.

          The problem is that i can select the Reference Object screen for a particular main. plan category in customizing , but even if i select FLEquipmentAssembly- O100 in customizing (Backend) it is reflecting as FLEquipment in the IP41,42 screen. If I Select O110 - EquipmentAssembly in the customizing it is reflecting as Equipment only by any selection Assembly is not coming.
            I guess any table is not included but i am not sure.
             do u know where these screen types -O100,O110 are defined.

Is FCP X the end of FCP for pros? Has Apple abandoned us? No longer can open my older files?

It looks like FCP X is a useless app for any pro application. With no capture from or to tape (Which is still widely used in the pro industry) and we will no longer be able to open a version of our edit from any previous FCP project. The exports and imports have been severly limited. What is Apple doing? Why make FCP more like imovie? Obviously the changes were designed by guys in suits and designers who have no experience in the industry. I guess it's time to switch back to Avid or even Adobe Premiere. I know my company is selling 40 of their Mac work stations and switching to PC and Premiere. Something I don't want to do but if I want to contine working in the industry it may not be a choice.

ITunes skipping from 2:20 to end of track for every file.

Whenever I play a track, iTunes plays uo until 2:20 into the peice, and then skips to the end of the track, immediately going into the next track.
How can this be stopped?

OK. I have done a complete 'restore' (3 hours work) without it fixing the problem. The same 'newer' tracks still refuse to play beyond 1 to 2 minutes. All older 'older' tracks play ok. So, now I've done all of the 4 'R's'... Does a 'Restore' reformat the drive or does it just delete?
The odd thing is the way the faulty tracks stop. They don't just halt where they are. They don't jump to the next track. They jump to 1 second from the current track's end and stop there. The iPod still indicates it is playing. If you pause and try to navigate to another album or artist, the navigation is very slow. Once you select another item to play, the response returns to normal.
I have copied some of the failing tracks to another iPod (a mini) from my laptop PC and the tracks played OK on that unit.
I have also re-cut the same tracks using the same process on a different computer and downloaded them to my iPod and they play OK.
This is becoming more and more confusing.
The whole reason for using LAME as the encoder is that it is markedly better quality at the same rates than the iTunes version. Also re-encoding music is a bad thing to do if you want to maintain quality.
This latest iPod update and iTunes update is by far the worst Apple have ever released.

What your iPhone using friends label your phone number in their contacts is irrelevant. I don't know who you pay $9.99 a month to but it's not Apple. You can't disable text messaging on your iPad as it is not capable of SMS.
Do you still have the iPhone? If so, log out of iMessage on the iPhone.
Try this:

Click on "Edit Products"
Click on the "X" to the right of the product.
Click "Unregister"
Also, try changing the password on your iTunes account.

Yes. If you are using two different instances of iTunes on your computers, make sure the music is on both copies of iTunes.
The person with the new Apple ID will not "own" the music, as it is owned by the one with the former ID. But the way to deal with this is for the new ID person to do Store > Authorize This Computer from iTunes' menu, then have the person with the ID that purchased the music enter his/her Apple ID and password.

Yes, that's exactly what I'd suggest for the vast majority of users.

I deleted all of my photos and even turned off backup data for icloud, but it still says that i am using 4 gigabytes of photos storage.

I was going through my phone trying to get more storage because i only had 90 megabytes left. So i saw that i had 4.7 gigs of photos on my phone. I backed up all of my photos onto my PC, and then deleted them off of my phone. But it still said that i had 4.7 gigs of photos. So i went to icloud storage and turned photos off for it, but it still said that i was using 4.7 gigs of photos. could someone please help and tell me why this is happening and what i can do to fix this? thank you. General File Recovery
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as MAC Data Recovery, Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro. Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive. Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk. Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads. Recovery software usually provide trial versions that enable you to determine if the software would help before actually paying for it. Beyond this or if the drive has completely failed, then you would need to send the drive to a recovery service which is very expensive.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

If you have not yet Emptied the Trash:
Recover Files in The Trash
If you simply put files in the Trash you can restore them by opening the Trash (left-click on the Trash icon) and drag the files from the Trash to your Desktop or other desired location. OS X also provides a short-cut to undo the last item moved to the Trash -press COMMAND-Z.
If you empty the Trash the files are gone. If a program does an immediate delete rather than moving files to the Trash, then the files are gone. Recovery is possible but you must not allow any additional writes to the hard drive - shut it down. When files are deleted only the directory entries, not the files themselves, is modified. The space occupied by the files has been returned to the system as available for storage, but the files are still on the drive. Writing to the drive will then eventually overwrite the space once occupied by the deleted files in which case the files are lost permanently. Also if you save a file over an existing file of the same name, then the old file is overwritten and cannot be recovered.

Try this:
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Sounds like you need a new battery. Take the iPod Nano to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.
