End of my tether trying to sync 4S after using remove and sync - help?

Ok so this could have been caused by 2 things - firstly my dad managed to create a new library when he was trying to save a new folder for his photos to go into therefore I had to track down the new library delete it and then reimport our old library from our external hard drive. Since then my 4S keeps saying "erase and sync" which I have done numerous times and still can't sync to this 'new' (even though it's the one we were using three days ago) what can I do other than throw my phone at the wall lol.
Strangely enough i did the erase ot remove whatever it an sync on my ipad 2 and it worked however im a bit scared to use it on my mums new 5 or ipad mini so I am waiting for some sort of help before trying it.
Open to anything so even if it means restore to factory settings that's fine.
But of course secondly it could be a iOS 7 issue which hasn't shown up till now.
Oh and ps even though my iPad is synced it's suddenly decided to stick on the syncing screen

CalenGoo and BusyCal get good reviews, and claim to keep the colours the same. I haven't used them myself; I don't need that level of detail. iCal on your Mac will sync with Google, but only in one colour, so far as I can tell.
If you can wait a few months, it will be interesting to see what iCloud is like. Hopefully it should be seamless and invisible, like you'd expect.

Yes, that is exactly what it means.
The right way to do it is to first rebuild your library on the new computer, and then sync the iPod.
You can rebuild your library by copying the library from the old computer or from your backup.
If neither of those options is available, you can extract the songs from the iPod, although the process is a bit hairy. See this guide for the procedure, written by Forum member Steve/turingtest2.

My iBook crashes when previewed or after exporting it and sync

Hello,
I designed a photography iBook, and added 2 gallery widgets of 20 pics each. My iBook crashes when previewed on my iPad 3 or after exporting it and syncing it to the iPad. It happens after viewing the book and interacting with it.
I have seen that the gallery widgets behave a bit sloppily when you swipe to the next pic, also the second row of thumbails (pics 11 to 20) don't show properly, some thumbails just don't appear.
What can I do? delete the widgets and start again? Is the iBook crashing because of them? Any user having this problem in the past months?

I did it, removed both, started from 0 again. Same problem, thumbails dont show for items 11 to 20. The widget in general works a bit sloppily always, no matter amount of items.
i tried to make images smaller in resolution, same problem.
only solution: never have more than 10 items per gallery, and split 20 photos in 2 different galleries in 2 pages.

Will my music and what not be transferred back onto my ipod if i select "Remove and Sync" after backing up my device?

Today when I installed iTunes to my computer, it gave me the option to Remove and sync all of my music and what not from my ipod and sync whatever was already on my computer. Yes.
If your iPod was synced initially with another computer it will replace whatever is on it now with what is in iTunes.
If you have access to your ols computer you can move your iTunes library to the new one by copying the whole iTunes folder from My Music and putting it in the My Music folder of the new one.
iTunes purchases can be redownloaed. Any ripped CDs will to be transfered into your current iTunes library via third party software.

Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. It's not that you can't format it because you have no backup, it's because you'll lose everything when you do. Lesson learned. Always have a backup.

If I reduce the albums inside to 1 then it seems to work but that takes away from the usefullness of multiple albums.

Publish your site to a folder on your hard drive to see if the publication will proceed successfully and open the site locally with your browser to confirm all of the alums are there and work. If they do try the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.

Everytime i Sync ipad or iphone after restarting computer the music and movie boxes have been automatically unchecked. Then if i check it it ask remove and sync.Why is this happening?

As question the says itunes keeps unchecking the movies and music boxes and i then have to "remove and Sync" then reselect the movies i want to watch. Movies is set to allow me to selct only what I want and music is sync all music. I appreciate any help.

Hmm. That sounds easy enough... but how do I backup to the new computer when it doesn't give me the option? When I connect the iPad via USB, it asks me to:
• set up as a new IPad
• restore from a previous backup (where the only backup listed in the drop down menu is a stolen iPad with outdated information, dated April of 2011. It doesn't ask to restore from iCloud where this current iPad is backed up.)
If you're suggesting that I back up both devices to iCloud and then wipe them, then plug them into the new computer and restore from the iCloud backup, so that my new computer considers these new devices, that makes sense... except that I don't see an option to restore from iCloud. Does that option appear later? And is it absolutely certain that any app I have entered data into will restore that information as well, and not just the app? For example, if I have an index card app which I make essay notes in, will those notes definitely be backed up along with the app? Or just the app? I can't afford to lose all my work data.

When I opened iTunes to sync my phone to the computer, it asked me if i wanted to remove and sync my songs. Does this mean that the songs will be put on the computer? Or will they be erased completely?

yes have latest edition of itunes, i have two ipads connected to the itunes one is working one is not, they belong to my kids, i set them up at xmas for them and all working fine til yesterday, kids say they have done any thing, can i take it to an aplle shop< or any more ideas, it just repeating trying to sync and coming up with the disk space cannot be found, don't want to risk connecting my other ipad up to the computer, i havent changed anything on my computer for months

Sync strangeness after disk replacement and OS reinstall

This was posted in someone elses thread but I didn't want to hijack his thread so I started my own.
I'm having a similar issue after a hard drive upgrade and OS reinstall. I added a 500G disk to my older g5 imac, which I sync my iphone to and ever since the reinstall I've had weird sync problems. After a Time Machine restore of my Addressbook to it's proper location and my iPhoto and iTunes library to the shared folder with a symlink in my $home/Music, it's yielded weird problems and only half works.
Symptoms include:
Sync of contacts that never finishes (I chose "merge" when it complained that it was sync'd to another iTunes instance). I've left it for several hours and it never finishes.
I can no longer subscribe on my iPhone to a subscribed calendar
iSync never finishes starting up, it yields "Refreshing contact groups information" forever and never really opens enough to allow for use.
Things I've tried:
Reboot imac
Open iSync (see above)
Restore iPhone
Let it sit for hours to see if it will finish
I suspect that it has to do with it thinking that this is a new iTunes library but I'd really like to get it back to the way it was.
Details:
iTunes 7.6.1
MacOS 10.5.1 (PPC)
iPhone firmware 1.1.3
Any help appreciated, I did a little searching (probably not enough), but didn't come up with much. Any help appreciated.

Back up Contacts using File > Back up Address Book
Delete all contacts in Address Book
Move ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook, ~/Library/Caches, and ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist to the Trash, but do not empty (just in case)
Log out of your user, then log back in
Launch iSync, Choose iSync > Preferences. Click on the Reset Sync History button. Click Reset Sync History.
Log out of your user, then log back in
Launch Address Book, create a few test cards, then try to sync. It should be successful.
Now try restoring from your backup with File > Revert to Address Book Backup.

ITunes not syncing apps after upgrading to ios 5 - Help :(

I downloaded the firmware for ios 5 as it took 60 mins to download last night, and when it got to 10 mins, it errored. I backed up everything, and it gave me the option to restore backup once i had installed the new ios firmware.
However, all it gave me was my contacts and photos. In my itunes library, i have all my apps there, but i am unable, after 2 hours, to find a way to get the apps in my itunes to go on my ipod. I tried nearly everything:
Unticked manually manage music and videos
Restored old back up
Googled for over an hour
Authorised my account
Restarted computer several times
Uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes a few times
Pressed "sync" over 50 times
All my apps are in my library and i have found all the .ipa files on my file browser. The problem isn't redownloading all my apps again, its all the saved levels, settings etc on my games/apps. Here is a pic of my itunes if it helps... http://i51.tinypic.com/34gq1b4.png

I'm using firefox sync with multiple desktop and laptop, even with Linux and windows environments since long, without any problem. Recently, I've used "Restart with addons disabled" option. Since then I can't setup sync. It's showing account or usename not matching!!! When I've tried to reset the password then It's showing account not found!!! But I've checked several times about username and password. Interesting on my laptop Firefox sync works perfectly, without any issue.
I really need to solve this issue ASAP. I really , really want to continue using Firfox.

Is there still a name and password and Sync key saved in the Password Manager?
You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.
*Firefox/Tools > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
Look for:
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)
You can try to remove all services.sync lines from the prefs.js file in the Firefox profile folder and possibly delete or rename the Weave folder.
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
