End to end walkthough for setting up Power Q&A with my own data?

I've uploaded a simple workbook and clicked "Add to Power Q&A". The web page responds "Added to Q&A", but when I click the "Ask with Power Q&A" link at the top right, I just get the splash screen. I tried clicking
the "use my own data" button on the splash screen, but the dialog just closes. Am I doing something wrong?
BTW, I looked at a similar question on this forum and the help page mentioned in the answer is a dead link:

Need a suggestion for setting up a reimbursement program with an annual cap

Can anyone recommend or have an idea on the best way to handle an employee program which provides for $250 in reimbursements for eligible expenses under the program? A few facts about the program:
1- There is an annual $250 cap per employee
2- The $250 does not need to be used all at once
3- Employee's pay for services themselves first and then submit receipts to HR on a quarterly basis for reimbursement
3- Because expenses do not need to be used all at once, the set up must be able to track expenses for the entire year through a cumulative balance
4- The $250 is subject to payroll taxes (though we are not using Oracle Payroll)
Currently, the entire program is being managed via an excel spreadsheet but we would like to automate the program in Oracle. Ideally, we would like for employees to enter their expenses via Oracle iExpense. However, the system would need to be be able to recognize when an employee is over the annual limit, throw a message to the employee letting them know they are over the annual cap, and only allow the remaining balance to be processed in the expense report.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, if you are not using Oracle Payroll, what are you using for payroll? I am wondering why you could not use your payroll system, whatever it is, to handle this reimbursement program.
Well, you may want to talk to Oracle support about how to handle this in Oracle iExpense. You can certainly handle advances for Expense Reports. You would then apply the advance to the expense report items. The catch is I don't think you can stop expense item entry after the adavance is satisfied. You would have to set up a work flow process of some kind to have the expense reports reviewed and only approve expenses that are applied to the advance, is what I am thinking. Not your ideal solution, but something to think about. It could be the Oracle folks might know of a sneaky way to handle this. What you are trying to do is unusual. Employee advances are common, but the idea of not being able to exceed the advance amount is what unusual about this. Normally you will accept any expenses over the advance amount and reimburse the employee for those extra amounts not advanced.

I am having the same problem with my new z22. Have downloaded all info from old cracked screen z22 which I named "old palm" as my user name. I have added one record to my new palm with the stylus. I am trying to get the data that is now on my computer onto my new palm which i have named "new palm". When I connect new palm and press hotsync it says status: identifying user, user: new palm but then asks if i want to set up a new account on this pc giving only options as ok or cancel neither of which seem to help. Have tried lots of ways and different methods but can't work this out. Can you help?

Using one azure table storage account for many customers with their own data

VERY New to Encore....End Action Not Set?

I just upgraded (today) to Premiere CS5. I've been able to get to the point of burning my project and "Check Project" found an error. It was "End Action not set" for my sequence. I'm not 100% what this means (and a search turned up 370 items, leaving me overwhelmed).
Is it asking what I want to happen after the last chapter in the sequence does (like return to the Menu default) or is it asking me what will follow after playing chapter one in my sequence? I really doubt it is the last option but seeing as it is showing a still form a scene from chapter one I want to be sure that I link the correct thing from the get go.

In the Check Project Message box, Dbl-click on that error/warning message, so that you can see exactly where it found the issue.
In this case, there is an Asset, probably a Timeline, with no End Action set. This End Action tells the DVD player what to do next, like Return to Last Menu. Note: you can have an End Action on several different Assets, like Playlists and Chapter Playlists. Also note: if one has a Playlist with an End Action, and in that Playlist are Timelines with their own End Actions, the End Action of the Playlist takes precedence, and Check Project will issue a warning message (looks like an error message, but is just informing you of this precedence) to that effect. So long as that is what you want, just ignore that notification.
End Actions tell the DVD player what to do next. As mentioned above, it could be to Return to Last Menu, it could be to Go to another Menu, and you can even, with Specify Link and the drop-down, tell it to go to a Menu with a particular Button highlighted. It could also be used to make a Timeline Loop, where you would set its End Action back to the beginning of that Timeline. You could also set one Timeline's End Action to go to another Timeline. Lots of possibilities.
Remember that I told you Encore was more involved, than PrE's semi-auto authoring. Do not be overwhelmed, but just take it slowly. Soon, when you get the "lay of the land" down, you will greatly appreciate the new power and control that you have. Being overwhelmed will be replaced by great joy, and you will feel like a god.
I would like to make one recommendation, and you WILL thank me later: Jeff Bellune wrote a great book, The Focal Easy Guide to Adobe EncoreDVD 2.0, Focal Press, ISBN 0-240-52004-1. Do not be put off by the title and the version, EncoreDVD 2.0 (I know you have CS5). Everything in that book applies 100% to Encore CS5. Now, CS5 has added some "stuff," that will NOT be in the book, but this forum and the Help files will step you though those. Jeff's book will take you through all of the aspects of Encore and navigating the DVD-specs. He'll also teach you how to create illusions, that seem to override the DVD-specs. Of course we cannot do that, but the user will think that we have. This book will soon become your go-to for almost everything in Encore.

Let end user to set up the query

Hi all!
Is there a way to let end user to set up a query/report with forms?
= users can use a form (whit predefined values) to determine which column(s) shows in the result and can add filters before submit.
Because a cube is stored in relational tables i think it's not an olap question.
But here is why i asked this:
I make an application that query an olap cube. I can make reports with apex from the cube view and from dimension views. But i want to let users to select from the available dimensons and measures and set filters on selected dimensions (on first page) using a form. When user submit the form the second page shows the result.

This is what I've done in that application example.
1 - I have two pages. Page 1 is the select columns and filters page and Page 2 is the report
2 - On page 1, I have created a PL/SQL page process, called P1_CREATE_COLLECTION, that runs "Before Header". This is unconditional and has a Source Process of:

In this way, I can store all of the user's selections for use on Page 2. The IF test just ensures that I don't overwrite the collection if it already exists - that is so that I can keep any settings that the user made when they were last on Page 1.
This collection gives allows me to store the following:
SEQ_ID - the collection's sequence ID
C001 - The COLUMN_NAME
C002 - The DATA_TYPE
C003 - The Y/N flag for SHOW_IN_REPORT
C004 - The filter to be applied to the column
3 - I created a "SQL Query (updateable report)" report. To do this you need to create a report using the SQL Wizard - any SQL statement will do - then you can change the report type from "SQL Query" to "SQL Query (updateable report)". I haven't found another way to do this.
The report's SQL was changed to:

5 - Finally, on Page 1, I created a PL/SQL process, triggered by my button, and in the "On Submit - After Computations and Validations" process point. The Process code for this is:

END;This loops through the FILTERING collection twice. The first time to build up a SQL SELECT statement containing all of the columns in EMP3 that the user wants to show
The second loop then builds up a WHERE clause for the statement based on any filters the user wants to apply. I have used the DATA_TYPE values stored in the C004 field to identify the format of the value in the WHERE clause - either VARCHAR2, which puts the string in quotes, DATE, which casts the string as a date using DD/MM/YYYY format and then any other value (which should be NUMBER), which just outputs the value entered.
Note that I've used vQ to hold the quote character (CHR(39)) as I find this easier than trying to work out how many single, double or triple quotes I need to get quotes within the string.
All of this just builds up a string (vSQL) which is returned to Apex at the end of the code so that it can build the report.
Note that I have also ticked the option under the Region Source setting to show "Use Generic Column Names (parse query at runtime only)". This needs to be done as the columns are changeable.
2 - I created a button called P2_BACK_BUTTON which branches back to Page 1
Obviously, this is a very basic example. You could, for instance, go one step further and allow the user to pick the table (SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM ALL_TABLES) or view (SELECT VIEW_NAME FROM ALL_VIEWS). As the final report is being constructed as a string, it doesn't matter how the table/view name is derived. You could also add popups for calendars and calculators, where appropriate, on Page 1.

Solution for using power pc apps with mountain lion

Options for using my Power Pc Apps with Mountian Lion? Specificly I need to use Citrix ICA Client editor.

You would have to erase Mountain Lion and reinstall Lion in order to use PPC apps. Or you could try to Upgrade to a newer version of the PPC software that would no longer be PPC based.

Bapi BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CREATE does not allow for maintaining sales area data (Sales org, distribution channel, division).
Does anybody know such a bapi?

Maybe you have to combine more BAPIs in order to add the organization information to the relationship. But I have no idea how.

Informix: Error while trying to set up start or end key for index read

Hi all
Im moving an application from weblogic 6.1 to 8.1, we're using informix as our databasemanager and are using informix's XA driver. However im running into the following error:
SQL State: IX000, Exception: java.sql.SQLException: [Internal] Error while trying to set up start or end key for index read [fmstopset_release],
SQL ErrorCode: -9847, Error Message: [Internal] Error while trying to set up start or end key for index read [fmstopset_release], RSAM ErrorCode: -101
...while accessing a table.
The same code runs fine twice, but the third and following times it fails with the above error code. I've tried setting the various XA flags available in the weblogic console but with no success so far.
Anyone have any input to this problem? Ive not seen many postings about this error out in the cyberspace and the fews ive seen never gets any response...so i just have to hope anyone in here know anything about it.

SQLException after end of result set

hi guys.
im in a lot of bother at the moment.
i have a GUI with a database in mysql. my gui is a recommender system and so users need to log in etc...
i know for certain that the gui does connect to the database because when a new user enters there details it does get updated in the database.
my problem is that when the user tries to gain acces to the system by going to the 'current user' and entering there details nothing happens.
i am finding it very difficult to find out what the problem is, i have been trying for over a week but no luck and im hoping somebody will know how to help me.
please could somebody help me here, i have a very short time aswell. monday.

HI All,
I'm new of this forum but I really hope you could help me solving the problem I have to connect Web Services and midlets.
Somehow my configuration works with some services I've found online but when I invoke very simple services deployed on my server(s) I always have "java.rmi.MarshalException: (1)Missing end tag for Body or Envelope" exception"
Let me add some more information to the problem:
System Configuration:
- JBoss (but I also tried axis) - standard installation (http/1.1)
- WTK 2.5 (but I also tried 2.2) - standard installation
- I tried "trusted" and "untrusted" security configuration of the servlet
- Netbeans IDE 5.0 (to create both Midlets and WS)
- WS uses document/literal as expected by JSR 172
The midlet is created with no problems but at the time of invocation the server throws the above exception (which is part of rmi. remoteException)
By monitoring the network both at client and server side I noticed that the information received is chuncked after 768 bytes. However, If the (soap) reponse is less than such value, I still have the error.
Using Http/1.1. at the mobile side, the service does not return me anything (0kb) while if I set the mobile device to http/1.0, I get the above error.
I really have to make the midlet running so any type of help will be really appreciated!!

as many developers I have encountered the famous "java.rmi.MarshallException:(1)Missing end tag for Body or Envelope" during the development of my WS app for J2ME (JSR 172).
It is correct that is the empty tag <soapenv:Header /> causing this error.
To fix this error, it is necessary to stop the server to generate this empty header in the response stream.
I have fixed this error for Axis2: unfortunaly it is necessary to modify a class in Axiom library. This library is used in Axis2 to produce the SOAP response, you can download the source code at http://ws.apache.org/commons/axiom/source-repository.html.
Here the class to modify:
axiom\modules\axiom-impl\src\main\java\org\apache\axiom\soap\impl\llom\soap11\SOAP11Factory.java
by commenting the line 273 in the method called getDefaultEnvelope() to prevent the empty header insertion in SOAP response:
