End User Guide and Clone issues

Hi,
I am a newbie apps dba and would like to which docs/books to refer to know how the end user's work in EBS like how they place an order,etc.
And also, I have done my clone a day back but the user's complain it is slow. I submitted a CP, it was completed successfully and it looks ok for me.

I have done my clone a day back but the user's complain it is slow.
- Check whether the Database Alert logfile, and application log files shows for any errros.
- After cloning by default the sga target memory turns up to 1GB, ensure it is set accordingly.
- Run an ADDM and see whether you have any database bottlenecks.

I have an issue related to End User Unlock and Password Reset.
We maintained Data Source as SU01 in SPRO, So that User can able to access GRC Application through End User Login with ECC System login
Details for raise a request.
If user is locked or forget ECC system password, then user not able to access GRC Application through End User Login with ECC System login Details for Unlock or reset Password.
In this situation, how user can unlock or reset the Password for ECC System.
Could you please provide the solution to resolve the Issue.
Note:- No LDAP or Acitive Directory.
System Details :- GRC AC 10.0 , SP12.

Quite a few PSS solutions have this as a setup (even SCN). The key thing you are reliant on is that the email account must be restricted to only the user to receive the password/link as well as appropriate Challenge Response Questions defined as part of their registration.
But yes, they can technically enter any User id to request the password and if they know the answers to the questions then they will get the password issue.
Your alternatively is to introduce another system (i.e. AD which you ruled out) or see if there is a way to introduce a second factor authentication (I don't believe this is delivered with GRC).

SSM 7.0 End User Guides

Are there any SSM end user guides out there?
I've seen the installation and configuration guides, but are there any other documents out there geared more towards the functional components of SSM (e.g., home page functionality, navigating through scorecards, monitoring initiatives, etc.)?

I don't think you will find the end user guides you are looking for. User Guides can be quite specific and localize when you consider customizations. Most of the SSM customers change the names of at least one of the Tabs - ie Programs for Initiatives, One organization uses an internal abbreviation that replaces Scorecards, (I'll just use TPS from the movie Office Space to give you an idea). Add to those, the different processes and instructions on reporting and using the system that are unique for each customer and you can better understand the difficulty of creating these types of guides.
The way that I've heard of this being handled is for some days added for consultant/implementation team to provide knowledge transfer - basically train the trainer. And then that person puts together training sessions for new users/departments.
If you didn't want to develop the material yourself, SAP Education can be contracted to put a program together for the individual needs of the organization.

If you can find an iPhone running iOS5 and those are the specs for iOS5, there is no reason it should not work.
If you want a more current version of iOS or a more current device, a Windows computer is always an option at significantly less cost.
Granted, there is no requirement to have a computer to use an iPhone.

when installing my licenses i can see that i have an End User ID and a Deploy to ID, both having different numbers! please could you help me to understand the difference.

What does "Not implemented in this database" mean?

What the page is saying that MTL_ONHAND_QUANTITIES is not a table. It is a view.
The main table underlying the view is mtl_onhand_quantities_detail.
After you perform a transaction, the data in this table (and view) is updated automatically.
You don't have to do anything.

Users Guide and Users Manual for iPod Touch 4?

Has anyone located the PDFs for the "Users Guide" and "Users Manual" for iPod Touch 4? I can't seem to find them.

In addition to the "User's Guide" there has also been a PDF "Features Guide" for each version of the iPod touch. (The one iwell provided a link for is not for the 4th generation iPod touch. (The 'at a glance' sketch shows the on/off button on the left. It's on the right on the 4th generation iPod touch.) It's possible Apple hasn't posted it yet. But I appreciate you both for trying. Thank you.

End User - ESS Timesheet Display Issue

Hi All,
Hopefully I have posted this in the correct forum. I tried to search of the issue I have for an end user but had no success, so I thought since my post graduate study surrounds ERP systems and work with SAP every day, I though it was best to register.
Now the issue I have here is, when the user goes into their portal ESS to view their timesheets, the display is unsual. They do not have an option to manually go back to previous weeks and the view of their timesheet is 'squashed' in (Timesheet Entry View) but if you scroll across to the right where the date and 'go to' function is, it has been cut off. There are no issues with any other users so it appears to be a local issue
Currently, I have reverted back to IE7, checked for any add on's that may cause display issues, I have checked their roles and everything is normal. The only issue I can see is some conflicting issues is with the Browser and SAP.
Any help will be appreciated.

Check the configuration setting for the profile that's being used by ESS. As this is where you can restrict user's ability to navigate forward and back from current week etc.

Adobe Reader says I didn't accept end user agreement and won't let me open on Mac.

"Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adober Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser."
I've tried to due this. No success. Any thoughts on how to go about fixing this?

Similar issue, I can open documents that are on my mac but documents in safari I get the "Before viewing PDF documents in this browser you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the End User License Agreement, then Quit and relaunch the browser." This is only since install of Yosemite.

End User Authorizations and Roles

Hi,
What all the authorizations i need to give to an End User, who uses the device.
Is it necessary for the userid to be same in <b>MI Client, MI server, Backend</b> systems.
Let me explain wat an end user does
>logs into MI client
>performs first synchronization
>Executes Mobile Application assigned
>and performs synchronization at the end of the day

Probably I wanst clear with my reply. You need to assign both the above mentioned authorizations to the same user who is performing a sync from the MI Client. S_ME_SYNC is required for the user to perform a sync from MI Client to MI server. S_RFC is required for the same user so that the data can be transferred from MI server to SAP backend and vise versa.
