Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Have you tried the standard fixes:
- Reset:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup via iTunes
- Restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.
If still problem you likely have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store is in order.

How to fill out the clipboard under "about:support" when enter button does not work in address bar? Thearrow button does not work either?

My enter btton does not work in the address bar or search engine. I have done the restart in safe mode...deleted and reinstalled firefox...done the malware/adware checks...still no improvement.
I was asked to do the "about:support" then click enter for the clipboard to paste the system notes into. That is not an option however because the orginal problem is the enter button not working. Ideas?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

Keyword not working in search bar.

I added keyword for search engines in search bar: for example, for You Tube, it is yt. In the search bar I enter, "yt Avatar" and it displays a Google search for the entry. Why are the keywords not working?

You can modify the pref keyword.URL on the about:config page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or Google's "Browse By Name".

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

No sounds working eg keyboard, apps, connection, although speaker works volume keys not working on volume bars to go up or down but alerts have noise and Siri etc

It's only just done it today my phone switched of because ran out of battery and now there no sounds :S my volume buttons are being recognised im pressing them but you can usually press for more 'squares' of volume and there's no squares no noise through games anymore no lock sound no keyboard sound no youtube sound but my speaker works as when i press for siri i can here the talking when i have phone calls or alarms i have sound please help?

I have post eariler on another forum and I have the same problem, I have tried all the things listed here and nothing was perminant in fixing this painful iphone hating problem.... and failed. You probably have the problem when you use youtube or your music external speaker that there is no volume bar and no sound.   I have had the same problem But I need to happily say that I now have the fix!!!! This worked for me and I fixed it by myself so you don't need to go to apple or service centre or anything.
Ok I like so many of you here truly believed this was as IO5 issue as it only dropped the sound on the speakers once that IO5 update came along. I tried a bunch of reset, reboots, home clicks, lock and unlocks, to fix this and all failed. some worked for an hour but then failed. hours of my life that I will never get back.   but since I have learnt this is not a IO5 problem but a hardware issue! ... and in paticualar is has to do with your bottom connection. Your phone is thinking it is docked all the time.
To fix the no sound problem what you need is...
1. a torch
2. a tooth brush
3. methalated spirits
4. a butter knife
Step 1.
get your torch and shine it down the bottom connection plate to see what kind of dust, sand, hair or anything you have stuck in there.   all that need to be removed! everything! it might look clean but still thats ok go to step 2.
step 2.
Turn on your music app and put the speakers on! If your phone is like mine it should not work. you most probably don't even have the volume display to turn it on but its ok, just do it! and it should still play with no sound.   its important you try and run the speakers as this will show you that it is a hardware problem.
step 3.
Dip your tooth brush into some methated sprits.   then at your sink tap the exess metho out of your brush as you just want the brushes to be slightly damp, not soaking wet and then scrub the bottom connetiors on your iphone. work the brush back and forward in a way that scoops the dirt out of the phone, not just pushing it side to side.
(As you bushing you should notice the volume bar come back on or off as you scub.   This happened to me and that is how I realised I was on the right track to fixing this problem as I was doing something external that was actually controling when the volume display came on or off.   but once I cleaned it this still didn't fix the problem...)
Step 4.
Use the back side of a butter knife (not the sharp side) to gently slide over the connectors on the iphone. Do this gently as you are only pushing down on the tiny metal contect bars and you should notice the volume display come on again. slide it back and forward. Now the area of interest is about 2/3 along the connection plate to the right.   This is the area that has the infomation sent when your iphone thinks its docked.
This has worked for me and I have not had a problem since I did this 2 weeks ago.   I have since learnt that the new IOS 5 has activated a different part of the bottom conectors. if you have been using dodgy connectors or unapproved apple cables (as I was) any damage or hair and dirt on the terminal this is effecting it. Try it.   just remember if you can do something external to your phone then there lies the problem.

Enter Key - not working in URL bar

Since the last update to FF 31 (Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit), the ENTER key has stoped working -> when typing web adress in URL bar. Hitting ENter does nothing, as well as the GO arrow (nothing as well).
All other applications are fine, only FF is not registering the input.
I did not install new addons, so plese don't tell me to reset.
It was fine yesterday, is wrong today after update.
Don't blame addons for something that is not related to this.

Predictive text not working in adddress bar

When I begin to type URL address, Firefox no longer remembers my history. I have made changes in preferences, "use customs settings for history"and then making the correct choices but it still isn't working. Really frustrating having to type in full address of regular websites I use.
It just stopped working!

Make sure that the Location Bar is not set to "Nothing":

Smart Print icon not working in Bing Bar

I have two Smart Print 2.1 icons; one in the Command bar and one in the Bing bar. I don't know why this is. However, the one in the Command bar works, but the one in the Bing bar doesn't.
Any advice as to why this should be will be much appreciated.

To clarify, are you wanting to remove the icon that is not functioning in the Bing Bar? Or do you want to keep the one for Bing and remove the other one from the computer? Here is a link to the latest version of the Smart print for Bing Bar. I would uninstall both versions currently on the computer under Control Panel>> Programs and then use the link to download the latest version. I hope that this helps.

Return key does not work in address bar after updating to Firefox 10

I just updated to Firefox 10. The return key will no longer work in the address bar. I have to manually click on the "go to" arrow. Are there any fixes for this? Thanks!

I have established Up and Over images for my nav bar. The Up

I'm sorry to tell you that the first thing you need to do is
to get rid of
the method you have used. It's quite antique, and was
designed for framed
pages. It adds quite a bit of additional code (some of which
is invalid) to
your page than would the alternative of using just ordinary
image swaps for
your menu.
So, just create your menu from the up images in each row, and
use DW's Swap
image behavior on each.
And put some duct tape over this NavBar option so that you
don't use it
again!

Sustain not working for first bars of exported track

I recorded a song using the onscreen keyboard and the sustain key. All tracks play fine with sustain in GB, however when I export the track the first few bars play without the sustain. I have no idea why this would be since it's a loop so all bars should have the sustain info recorded. Have tried messing around with all the mastering settings to no avail. Help!

I have a big problem ... we want to develop some forms in forms 9i and to port on intranet. the problem is that on adress bar in internet explorer is apearing the database username&password. After some testes was working also from internet.
There is a way do not show in adress bar the username and database password ???

to avoid displaying the username and password in the URL there are
few ways:
1. If all users are using the same database login, you could put this
information into the formsweb.cfg in $ORACLE_HOME/forms90/server
After this you will only see the named configuration in the adress bar.
2. If each user uses the private login, you don't have to supply any login information
in the formsweb.cfg file or in the starting URL. The forms-login-box will appear
at the beginn of the forms session.
3. If you are using MS-IE, you could hide the adress bar at all.
The condition for that is, that you call the forms application from an other
HTML-site. At this site you could use the JavaScrip command window.open()
to show the forms application in a other browser window. In the third
argument of window.open() you can configure the window to open.
example:
open("http://<your server>:<your port>/forms90/f90servlet?config=<your app>","Fenster1","dependent=no,width=1024,height=768,hotkeys=no,resizable=yes,left=0,top=0");
This will open a new window at the postion 0/0 with no tool bar/adress bar and without any browser menu.
With the option "pageTitle=" in formsweb.cfg you can control the text in the window header.
The same could work with Netscape, but I never tried it.

All drop downs on forms or in history do not work -

since update - all drop downs do not work - on navigation bar - internet forms that have questions that require an election from a drop down field - and the auto type feature. The boxes act like they want to open but are closed as soon as they appear. This is a major problem as most applications have drop down boxes for questions or security questions.
I thought it was pop-up blocker but it wasn't- no info found in Troubleshooting.
