English itunes/songs imported to ipod programmed in Hebrew?

I imported English songs from my itunes programmed in English to a friend's ipod that's programmed in Hebrew. They seemed to import fine, but they are nowhere to be found on his ipod. Aplle offers no suggestions for this problem. Please help! Thanks, Nik.

I believe the Hebrew support is a third-party addition, is that correct? Maybe this one.

A person who reads Hebrew may need to read the support site for the product.
English language songs will hopefully still display in English, on the iPod's screen. Did you try it in all possible views, such as listing by song, or putting them into a playlist before importing and trying to find the songs by playlist?

  • Can I store iTunes songs onto the iPod by using it as a HDD?

Hello. I would like to know if I can store iTunes songs onto the iPod but not as a nMP3 player but as an external HDD. For example, suppose I load 1000 songs onto my iPod to listen to, could I take those same 1000 songs and store them as well? 80 GB is about 10 times the storage I'll ever need so instead of backing up all of my songs onto a DVD or external HDD, I wanted to store them on my iPod. I understand that I will be storing the same songs twice (one for listening and one for backup). Is it possible?

A similar issue but with video files. I have created several Gb of video files and backed them up on DVD. Now I want to only store them on the iPod Classic and be able to paly them on the iPod. My current method is to copy the video files onto the iPod (with disk use enabled) and set iTunes to NOT copy songs/video to the iTunes Music folder. Now when the iPod is connected I drag the video files to iTunes and it creates a link to them (located on the iPod whjich is behaving as an external hard disk) and lists them under TV Shows (or Movies). I can now sync them to the iPod and play them successfully.
Although this works I end up with two copies of each video file on the iPod. I am guessing that if I delete the original (data) video file iTunes will get upset and remove the second copy from the iPod as well when I next do a sync.

  • How do i put itunes song back on ipod from my computer

How do I put itunes back on my ipod when i reset my ipod by mistake. Songs are on my computer, but not on my ipod?

You need to import the music into iTunes on the computer and then sync them to your iPod. See:

  • Lost hard drive -- need to restore iTunes song library from iPod

i recently purchased my first iPod and downloaded iTunes to my PC. I then loaded 850 songs from my collection of CDs. Shortly after, my hard drive crashed - completely unrecoverable. I bought a new PC (laptop) with Vista. Now i need to reload iTunes. Can i download all of my songs from my iPod onto my newly installed iTunes? I'm afraid that when I "synch" I will lose everything on my iPod since nothing will be in my iTunes library. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    do this:
To display hidden files and folders
Open Folder Options in Control Panel.
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    Double-click Folder Options.
On the View tab, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
Close the window and go to My Computer again.
    1. Click on your iPod's drive and go to iPod_Control
    2. Click now on Music and you'll see a few folders titled F00, F01, F02, etc.
    3. Click on a folder and highlight all the music, and drag them to Library in iTunes. You should now have all the music syncing, and most will be named correctly, but still some you will have to rename
**Also, it helps to have the second checkbox in Edit>Preferences>Advanced checked so that it makes a copy of your music file to an independent iTunes Music Folder.**
~~This being useful in that you'll be able to play all your music without having to have the iPod plugged in~~
    Does this help???

  • HT201263 unable to sync music.... has rid all my itunes songs off of ipod touch 5

unalbe to sync music... has rid all my itues songs off of ipod touch 5.
also keeps downloading movies/tv over and over again, but unable to get rented movies downloaded

If you  have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Then make sure that you have the right boxes chacked to sync. See:
iTunes 11 for Windows: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
Have you successfuly synced from that iTunes library before?

  • ITunes songs purchased on iPod missing! help!

I purchased fours songs on my 16GB iPod Touch (a new Touch with updates included) using the iTunes application on my iPod. I've listened to them and they were fine.
Later, I synched the iPod to the iTunes (7.6.??) on my home computer (Windows XP, 2). I recall synching the "purchased" song folders. Now the 4 songs I purchased using my iPod are gone. They're erased, it appears, from the iPod. I don't know were they are or if they can be recovered. I have tried to become knowledgeable about my iPod, reading a guide book, web articles, etc. But I did not see this topic covered and didn't know to be cautious.
    So here are my questions:
    1) Is it possible the songs are still there lurking on my iPod (I don't see them when I look under "purchases" in the Music folder)? How to get them?
    2) How to avoid losing songs purchased on the iPod in the future?
    3) Will I be able to download them again without having to buy them again?

If they aren't shown on your iPod, then they aren't located on it.

Once you have chance to connect your iPod to the computer and if you have just purchased music from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, then I would recommend you to transfer them immediately to your computer. Here's how to do so: [Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305465].

You can contact iTunes Customer Support. Use [this form|http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/browser> or the receipt received via e-mail. However you must understand that they have all right to deny a re-download, once it's responsibility to back up. Also the iTunes Store Terms of USe clearly states: *"All Sales are final"* .
    Hope this helps!

  • Itunes song duplication on ipod

when transferred to my ipod, my itunes library multiplies several artists (same artist, same song, same album) in the display. I don't think its actually taking up more physical space on the harddrive, but the duplicity on the display is a bit annoying. any ideas?

  • Need help to transfer itunes songs from older ipod to newer ipod

I have an older ipod (one of the first generations!?) that I have downloaded songs from itunes years ago; however, those songs are not in my itune library. I now have a 3rd generation nano 8GB that I would like to put these songs on. I have tried downloading them to my laptop and then transferring into library. The songs will transfer into itunes library, but I can't get them to transfer onto the ipod. I transfer manually (don't sync songs)because I also have two sons that also have ipod nano and shuffle. When I click and drag the song from my library to the desired folder on my ipod it tells me that my computer isn't authorized. I have authorized the computer repeatedly and I still get the same message! I noticed the songs are protected and wonder...does that have anything to do with not being able to transfer?
The songs were originally purchased on itunes store several years ago. I don't know why the 30 to 40 songs I have on the original ipod are NOT in the library, but I would really like them to be on my new ipod. (I have 200 plus songs that are on both ipods/library.) Can anyone help me? I feel I have tried everything and getting extremely frustrated! Are these songs a lost cause?

  • Uploading purchased iTunes songs onto iPod

    Hi there,
Can anyone help me, everytime I try to upload my purchased iTunes songs onto my iPod an error message comes up saying I am not authorised to play these tracks on my computer and the tracks do not upload.
    Thanks.

I'm having the same problem - getting an error message telling me that my iPod - which I have updated with most recent iTunes software - cannot play the music I've purchased. What was your solution? What did you figure out? Would appreciate any help.

  • I want to import songs frm my Ipod to my itunes library.  Songs were ripped from CDs to the ipod not purchased from itunes store...how can this be done?

I want to import songs frm my Ipod to my itunes library.  Songs were ripped from CDs to the ipod not purchased from itunes store...how can this be done?

You would have to let itunes rip the songs from the cd's, or you would have to copy the music from the computer which ripped cd's.
iTunes does not support transferring music from the ipod unless it was purchased from the store.

  • Is it possible to import songs from your ipod to itunes?

Somehow, my itunes got screwed up on my pc. So, I am missing about 100 songs. The songs are all on my ipod because I haven't synced them in a while. Is it possible to import the songs from my ipod into itunes? If so, how do I do it?
To make matters more complicated, my itunes now says that the ipod is synced to a different itunes, so if I sync them up, the songs on the ipod will be replaced by the songs on itunes (causing me to lose those 100 songs). Can anyone please help me?

If you're using iTunes 7, you can copy music that you purchased from the iTunes Store back to iTunes directly. You will have to prevent automatic synchronization. While connecting the iPod to the computer, hold down the Shift and Ctrl keys in Windows. This should stop the iPod from auto synching with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 3 and 25 seconds depending on your computer.
If you're not using iTunes 7 or want to copy other tracks, the easiest way will be to search VersionTracker for "iPod". You'll find a number of utilities that can transfer your tracks and your playlists from your iPod back to your PC.
It's also possible to do this manually, but the procedure is rather involved. If you're interested, though, see this thread:
    MacMuse: Computer crashed
Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Discussions page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums, in the User Tips Library and in the Apple Knowledge Base before you post a question.

  • I've imported a CD to my iTunes account, but how do I get those same songs onto my iPod?

I've tried to sync my accounts, but that doesn't work. Also, I know that the songs imported correctly and play because I checked my iTunes Library to make sure they did not magically disappear. I have iTunes 11.1.1 downloaded.

Also, it might be helpful to mention that anytime I make a purchase on the iTunes Store, those do get downloaded automatically to my iPod.
