Enhance infotype 0077 screen number 2008

Hi,
I want to enhance infotype 0077 screen number 2008.
Using PM01, i created enhance single screen record with infotype 0077 with version 08.
But the additional field appear on screen number 2000 instead of screen number 2008.
How to add the additional field to 2008 instead?

Try "Infotype Screen Control" in T588M.
T588M is a table and there is no column name called "Infotype Screen Control", can you provide further infomation on this?

My requirement is to add sexual orientation field into IT 77.
The added field need to be display/edit on PA30 (screen number 2008).
Using PM01, i created single screen enhancement on IT 77 with version 08 (GB).
Using PA30, by selecting different employee, the additional fields display on screen number 2000 but it is not display on screen number 2000.

You need to display in PA30 screen or Table level (SE11 or SE16)
In Screen u2013 Need to modify the screen (Module Pool Progam - MP000077)
In SE11 or SE16 u2013 Need to enhance the infotype (Structure CL_P0077)
Kindly enhance the structure through se11 or se16.

Find screen number for enhancement.

How to identify screen number for a particular standard SAP transaction for enhancement. Suppose I want to enhance any screen of any transaction how to search/identify customer screen number and enhance them, I want to add some fields or tab or anything else.

You can get the screen number for screen enhancement using the following methods:
1) Googling on the Tcode or by reading OSS notes .
2) Go to SPRO transaction . Navigate to the application component and see whether any section on Enhancement exists.
3) Other ways of finding it are -
i) CMOD based screen exits -
Here the 4 digits 0101,0111,0201,0211,0301,0311 are the screen numbers where enhancement can be done .
In case project is already implemented, get the project name from MODACT table.
ii) For BADI based screen exit - Do a look up on SXS_SCRN table

Enhancing infotype 0222

Hi all,
I am trying to enhance infotype 0222 by adding a custom field using tcode PM01.
Field is added in pa0222 table but when I go to pa30 and tried to create record for 0222 the additional field is not being showed.Any setting is required for this infotype?
Can anyone help me regarding this.

you need to assign your enhancement to the main module pool in table T582C
Mosule Pool Screen Program Screen
MP022200 2000 ZP022200 0200
once you have done this you should be able to see your enhancement.

Updating Infotype 0077 for the New Race and Ethnicity Codes

Hi,
I would like to ask for a help or any ideas on below case:
There are new race and ethnicity codes required by the US EEO Law. I've already maintained them in table T505R. My problem now is on how infotype 0077 records of the employees will be updated showing the new race and ethnicity codes. Program RPURACU0 is use to update the records in infotype 0077. In this program, I first map the old ethnic origin to the new race and ethnicity codes. But after I've run and execute the program, infotype 0077 records of the employees still shows the old ethnic origin codes. It does not show the new race and ethnicity codes which should be based on the mapping I've done.
Another problem is that in infotype 0077 in the field "Ethnic Origin", upon clicking on the drop down list, it shows all of the entries I've entered in table T505R. I think that ethnicity and race categories should be two different fields and thus, there should be another field for the race categories. May I know on how to add such field?
To summarized, I need help in the following:
-how to update infotype 0077 showing the new race and ethnicity codes
- how to create field "Race" in infotype 0077 to display the new race categories

We have applied the relevant note, updated MP007700 (as below) and executed program RPURACU0 with the required mapping. However, the Race field check boxes are not visible on IT0077 because as you can see the relevant field is not listed below.

Modifying the HR Infotype 25 Screen

There are 6 fields on the infotype 25 screen we are using for this one client, P0025-PKT01 to P0025-PKT06, that use the data element BUPKT, which in turn is of the domain DEC3 - it is of type P, but it is essentially a whole number up to the hundreds. Our client requested that these fields be able to accept numbers with 3 decimal places. So my plan of action was to modify BUPKT to be of domain DEC3_3 (since doing that has no effect on other processes anyway), and then modify the screen fields to accommodate the change.
This is where I got lost. I only managed to manually extend the length of the fields, and my gut feeling says that I'm missing something. Sure enough, I tried to create a record in said infotype, and the process still treats the contents of the fields as whole numbers. For example:
KRT01 = 0.70
PKT01 = 2.95
PROD1 = KRT01 * PKT01
PROD1 = 0.70 * 2.95
PROD1 should be 2.065, but the total says 2, 065! It interpreted 2.95 as 2, 950 (it's correct in having a length of 6, but it has no decimal point).
Does the answer to this problem lie in the screen modification, or will this require enhancements? Or can I just regenerate the entire screen? Please help me.

normally the dynpro inherits field attributes from DDIC, so if you changed the data domain it should be OK
now if you have a problem with values, the easiest way will be to divide them by 1000 each time you handle a calculation on those values...

Purchase order screen exit SAPMM06E,screen number 0111

i am able to see customer screen in transaction but program control is not going to flow logic
due to that i couldn't able to fetch data into custom fields.pls suggest me wat to do.

Hi Vinay ,
I think you are implementing the screen exit with the enhancement component 'MM06E005'.
if thats the case you add your fiels in the screen area provided
in the screen 'SAPMM06E' 0111 by creating the subscreen in the SE51 with the name space 'SAPLXM06' 0111 with then will be reflected (fields added) in the ME21n transaction .
You have to write your logic in the EXITS provided in that enhancement component
You have to write your logic in the exit 'EXIT_SAPMM06E_008'
as it imports data from screen field which you placed in the tcode.

Hi,
Infotype can be enhanced using transcation PM01. This allows you to create new transcation, enhance infotype or copy infotype. In your case you need to check out whether Copy infotype into custom infotype will be benefitial or enhancing it will be useful.

Screen variants--screen number and program

Hi,
I am a functional consultant and not familiar with coding/development.I needed some help with regards to creating a screen variant.
-->In which scenarios can one use a screen variant?
-->How do we find the screen number and program?I checked the' source' info too...all it gives me is the template details.But,i haven't been able to find the screen number and program.

The transaction code for screen variants is SHD0.
Generall screen varaints are used to chnage the screen display i.e. to add a new field/make the fields editable etc...
In SRM,for screen enhancements genrally some BADI's are provided but if not then screen variants is the next option to implement the same.Finally if screen varaint is not possible then you can do the changes in the relevant ITS templates.

Cannot enhance Infotype 2007

When I am trying to enhance Infotype 2007 for adding two fields, it says infotype cannot be enhanced.
I enter the infotype 2007 in single screen tab of PM01transaction and click on Generate objects, but it gives a error message saying infotype cannot be enhanced.
Please let me know how this infotype cannot be enhanced.
Any pointers will be awarded.

Enhancing an already enhanced Infotype

Can you provide me the steps to enhance an already enhanced infotype . I need to add two more fields but when I add through PM01 , it is refreshing the already enhanced fields

Don't generate the objects. Since the infotype is already enhanced, you just need to edit the CI_PNNNN structure and add the fields next to the ones already there and also change the screen ZPNNNN00 0200 to include those new fields.

As per my knowledge its not possible to add field inbetween.
once you enhance then you will get sub-screen number where you can modify only subscreen of the IT.
but not the original content.

Hi,
Press F1 on any one field on that screen and check the technical attributes you can find the screen number there.
Or go that screen then in menu bar navigate to System-> Status there u will find it
