Enhance payment method

Hi,
We have only 1 charecter to define payment methods, we have used all of them. Now our client wants to have another bank account with same currency as previous ones, so its not possible to use the existing payment methods.
Is it possible to enhance payment method such tht it can accept 2 or morre charecters? or is there any way to solve this issue?
it's very urgent pls reply me....

I agree with XmchX all combinations cant be in active use. Perhaps you should consider recycling a numbers of these payment methods!
To my knowledge is it not possible to make extensions here (using standard SAP)

Has anybody implemented Paypal as payment method for Oracle Order Management?
We are on 11510 and looking to add Paypal as payment method apart from existing Credit Card, ACH etc.
I found a very old (2008) note on metalink that says there is an enhancement request for this.

First of all thanks for your response.
Please note that I am not talking about using Paypal as payment processor (similar to Paymentech) but I am talking about using "Paypal" payment method for getting payments from your customers.
As per my brief understanding, I know that Paypal too provides payment processing functionality where I can get my customer Credit Card, bank accounts etc. validated through paypal tool (I think it's call payflow pro similar to paymentech).
Again, we are on 11510 right now so R12 functionality may not be useful for us.
Also, we have already integrated and been using paymentech for payment processing for Credit Cards, ACH etc within 11510. There is no issue about that.

Price to Customer Changes When the Payment Method is Changed on Sales Order

This is one I have never seen before and wonder how this can be corrected/blocked/changed...
When a customer has a payment method of let's say "Check" and they place an order and decide to pay it with a "Credit Card", a system message comes up and asks if you would like to change the prices on the order according to the way the customer is payiing - say what???
Well, first off that is about the wierdest thing I have ever heard - you are going to change a price because a person pays in a different manner??? Does anyone pay a different price when they go to a restaurant, have a meal, and use their credit card instead of cash??? Does the restaurant charge you more because you are paying with a check??? Heavens no - so why would SAP make that function as a default instead of making it the exception it should be??? I am truly puzzled on this one.
Sure there are discounts, but overall changing a price by way of payment is very bad - 99% of the time a person is going to pay the same price no matter how they pay - cash, check, COD, 1% 10 days, 2% 5 days, etc...
I know, I know - the vast majority of answers will be just say "No" on the System Message Screen BUT since SAP B1 throws up so many useless System Messages, users tend to ignore them and just hit yes. Changing the price of an order like this can be disastorous and I just cannot believe this function has not been challanged by someone in the user/customer community who have some common sense in seeing how bad/dangerous this can be...
I am looking for a way to shut this off. The payment method window requires you to enter a price list under the "BP" section. How do I get this to be blank under the BP section and not change the prices of an item on an order just because someone is paying with a credit card instead of a check...
Maybe I am missing something here but does anyone know what to change or what setting needs to checked???

I have heard of some places where there is a difference, but as I said before...that is the exception and certainly not the rule. I do a good bit of traveling and a surcharge like that has happened to me maybe once - at the max twice. I am not sure where the vast majority of SAP B1 installations are being used, but those some countries are definitely in the minority.
Let's just face it, this is a bad system design. First off, the payment terms should never have had a required connection to a price list - OR - SAP should have given the option to leave the price list field blank during the initial set up of payment methods and terms, and then leave the system message by the wayside. When you have personnel who are paid commission on getting out orders quickly, this is just another button to click and their chance to take the next incoming order is delayed - not good.
I have received about six Emails saying I should post this in a forum for consideration of changes/enhancements to SAP B1, and that is exactly what I am going to do.

AR dunning even if document has an incoming payment method

Our company have a situation where we need to dun documents even if there's an incoming payment method defined either in the customer master or in the document. I know that the SAP standard behaviour says its not possible to dun these documents. But I am wondering if someone out there has managed or was able to get around this?
In some SCN topics, it says that BTE 0365 can be used to achieve this. That BTE says its for contract accounting but we are only using the regular AR module. Moreover, I can only see BTE no. 1705 to 1770 but not 0365 (if there is such a BTE, may someone give me direction where I can find this?)
I am more of a functional person rather than an ABAPer so I apologize if my question seems to be inane.

TCODE:FIBF. Entre BTE framework.
Environment->Info system(P/S): These interfaces can be enhanced function requirement, but cannot change any data.
Environment->Infosystem(Processes): These interface can be copied and enhanced. And can change table data and change parameter data.
You saw 1705 to 1770 which are info system(P/S).
You can check Infosystem(Processes) again.
click on the interface button in the second tool line. You can see the parameter of interface.
check the parameter which you need.

Allowing the field "Payment method supplement" to be changeable in FB02

I have a requirement which is to allow the field "Payment method supplement" to be changeable in FB02. It is currently not allowed for change. How will I make this changeable? Is customizing enough? Or program enhancement must be done? Please advise the steps to do this.

Please use tcode OB32 to make Payment method supplement field editable in FB02 transaction.
In the screen "Change view: Document change rules: overview: screen" click F5 or New entries.
In the subsequent screen enter * BSEG-UZAWE* in the Field Name and update all other fields like account type, transaction, company code.
Activate the Field can be changed check box and save.
Now after doing this change, when you try changing the document in FB02, the payment method supplement field can be changed.
Please update the fields Account type, transaction with relevant values.

Payment method and cost center validation check in MIRO while save or simul

Hi,
I want to put a validation check between payment method and cost center while posting MIRO against PO (MIGO done) . If my payment method and cost center matches then system should allow that entry otherwise should popup a message .
We tried this with user_exit - EXIT_SAPLMRMP_010 enhancement LMR1M001 .
But thing is it is not getting triggered at all either at the time of simulation or at the time of saving . We are also looking into BADI - update_invoice .
Any body having any idea on this please share.

HT1918 Can I have multiple payment methods on one account

Currently, both of my teenage sons and I are sharing an Apple account with one payment method. I would like to have a payment method for each of us.

If they are teenagers, it is not too soon to set up individual accounts per person.
This will address the separate payments issue, and will make it much easier in a few years when they start heading off to university or moving to their own living arrangements.

How do I change my payment method. I put in debit card info. It now says security code invalid, but it isn't. I understand that might be the wrong type of payment. But now it won't let me edit this info. It is also blocking me from updates and free dlds.

I called my bank as I am currently vacationing in Libya and if my debit card (the card my iTunes account uses) starts getting declined I will have issues. No, no problems, they had a note in my account that I was traveling, and there are no holds or flags on my spending. She also noted that the iTunes store had requested a verification of $0.99 but had not charged the card for the amount.

OOnce the $ .99 charge goes through to verify your payment method, you should be able to make your purchase.
wait 24-48 hours and try again.

Default payment method issue in Additional Off-Cycle Payments

Hello everyone,
I have an issue with Additional Off-Cycle Payments and running this in payroll driver.
I have maintained V_T52OCB or "Define default values for payment methods" in IMG as Check (C) but when I run payroll for this employee I see that payroll driver is considering Infotype 0009 which is a direct deposit but when I run the same employee in OFF-CYCLE Workbench I see that the run is defaulted to Check and is not considering Infotype 0009 which is correct.
What I don't understand is the same record when processed through regular payroll driver (RPCALC) is considering Infotype 0009 but Off-cycle is considering default payment method for Off-Cycle defined in IMG.
Has anyone seen this kind of issue?

Hello Hemanth,
The value you maintain in V_T52OCB is only for defaulting the Payment type in Offcycle Workbench Screen for the Reason you have choosen for the offcycle, it doesn't mean it would be run only by that payment type and you can overrite in offcycle workbench itself by choosing the other payment type.
For Offcycle run it always with the value entered in IT 0009, For off-cycle, if there is a valid record with subtype 5/6, it will be used otherwise subtype 0/1 will be used if payment method selected is according to IT.
If payment method is not according to IT a new record will be created in IT 0009 for the exact date.
For Manual check, the check number can be entered in Offcycle workbench.
I hope it clarified your doubt.

HT1918 I have been trying to update my payment method on my iTunes & Apps store and it won't update, my iPhone 4 and it just keeps telling me that I need to contact iTunes support

I guess I have more then one Apple ID accounts and I own a little money on both and I am willing to pay and when I try to update and put my new payment method in my iPhone it tells me I need to contact iTunes support, the apple id I'm useing now is xxxxxxx and I know that I had one with xxxxxxx but apple won't let me use that one anymore it just say account nolonger promitted. Please help

Change your payment information on a Mac or PC
Click to open your account in iTunes (you may need to sign in with your Apple ID), or follow these steps:
Open iTunes and click iTunes Store.
Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.
Click your Apple ID and select Account.
From the Account Information page, click Edit to the right of Payment Type.
You can see the payment methods that the iTunes Store accepts in the Payment Type section.
If you want to remove the payment method, select None in the Payment Type section. See what to do if None isn't showing or you can't select it.
Change your information and click Done.

Can not do anything on the app store ( need to update my payment method)

Ok, so i got my ipad about a year ago, and for the first three months, i have been using itunes cards to download stuff from the app store. Soon after this, i realised that since i dont really go out, it could be a bit of an inconvenience for me, so i decided to use my debit card instead. Things were great, until i reslised i had no money left on my account, which apple notifies you of by saying "your payment method has been declined". At first i was confused, but after trying to buy things from amazon and steam and getting the same error, i realised that i had no money. This is where the problem began. The fact that i couldnt buy apps didn't bother me, but what DID bother me was the fact that i couldn't update my apps, download free apps or even install apps i have already payed for without getting that **** error message. This lasted for a little while before i got more money on my account and it worked again. But that isn't the end of the story, about a week ago, i could no longer do anything on the app store without getting that error, EVENTHOUGH i have money on my account. I knew this because right after that error messaged popped up for the trillionth time, i brought a book from amazon with absolutely NO PROBLEMS.
I am so irritated. Fix this apple!
