Enhanced backend integration version of the CRM organizational model

Hi,
I want switch from Enhanced org Model to Standard Org Model While doing client copy in EHP 1
Existing client is with Enhanced Org Model.
Any Suggestions?

Hi,
As per SAP , if you are already using enhanced backend integration model , you can " NOT"  return to the standard backend integration version,

  • B2B. Enhanced version of the CRM organizational model

Enhanced version of the CRM organizational model.

Does B2B works fine with Enhanced version of the CRM organizational model?
    Denis

    Hi,
Enhaced backend integration - Org model is used when there is more than one "org" attribute is assigned to higher org node , e.g. two sales offices assigned to one sales org.
In Product catalog configuration , in Catalog Variant, we can make entry for Sales org , Distribution channel & division,
so in this case , i feel there should not be problem in B2B scenario even if we use enhanced backend integration model.
    hope it helps,

  • Enhanced backend integration version for Organizational management

    Hello everybody,
We are thinking about enhacing backend integration for Organizational management   because we have Sales office in ERP sales  assigned to several sales organizations.
Reading  the library information  we understand that several offices can be assigned to the same organizational unit as well as the text sais:"enhances the Function tab page in the ppoma_crm  transaction to include a grid table, in which you maintain multiple assignments of organizational units "
    Example:
CRM Org Unit 50000--->Sales Office 1000
                                    --->Sales Office 1001
What we need is to Know if  Several CRMOrganizational Units can have the same  Sales office or sales Gruoup.
    Example:
CRM Org Unit 50000--->Sales Org 1000
CRM Org Unit 50001--->Sales Office 1000
CRM Org Unit 50010--->Sales Org 2000
CRM Org Unit 50011--->Sales Office 1000
Is this second example  possible with the enhacement?
    Thanks in advance
    Marga Ribes

    Hi Marga,
we have the same problem. The sales office is assigned multiple in ERP - the download of the common used sales areas (Report: CRM_ORGMAN_SALES_BUND_DOWNLOAD) doesn't create any datarecords in the table SMOTVKBZ.
Which report do we have to execute in order to download the valid assignments maintained in ERP?
    Thanks in advance

  • Can someone explain how Groupware fits into the CRM mobile model?.

Can anyone explain how Groupware fits into the CRM mobile model?.
Also we have the client console on the laptop, but it looks very basic. My understanding is that it's supposed to be able to download sales details before going on the road, is that correct, or have I misunderstood something?.

  • Delete CRM Organizational Model entries

    Hi
We are loading as part of a migration Market Plans under the Org Model.
After initial loading (still in test) we have found that most of the entries are incorrect and need to fix.
Because  these are hierarchy based type entries, so i have to delete at the lower level and move up the hierarchy until all are deleted or is thete a way to select the highest level and this will delete all below.
There have been no assignments against these entries.
Thanks for your help on this one
    Tony

FYI, there is a way by using program RHRHDL00 and plugging in the Object IDs
    Cheers

  • Transferring Organizational Model

After the organizational model has been generated in CRM, can we transfer the sales structure to ECC (using delta upload), if at all if we modify the generated sales structure in CRM? Also if there are any changes made in ECC sales structure after the organizational model has been transferred to CRM, can we transfer the changes to CRM by installing the enhanced backend integration version of the CRM organizational model and copying entire sales structure from ECC to CRM?

    Hi Namrata,
I believe this generation of Organizational model has been done using report:
    CRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_GENERATE.
Once you downlad an org structure from ECC, you cannot change it in CRM system. It can only be changed in the source system that is ECC.
Once you change the org structure in R/3, the changes wont be replicated back in CRM!!! Well, this is a disadvantage of doing it this way.
    A better way is:
    Create Org structure in R/3 and CRM independantly and then link them in CRM;
PPOMA_CRM-->Open your Org Unit >Functions Tab> select R/3 Sales org
In this case, you can make changes to org Units on both sides.
Hope the information is useful to you!
    Sharif.

  • About CRM Org Model

    Hi all,
I need some clear explanations about "<b>enhanced backend integration version of the CRM organizational model</b>" because I don't understand the SAP HELP explanations.
    COuld anyone help me please?
    Thanks in advance
    Javier

    Hi Javier,
    1. There are 2 version in CRM Org Model.
    a) SBIV (Standard Backend Integration Version)
    b) EBIV (Enhanced Backend Integration Version)
    2. EBIV is used to handle <b>multiple assignments</b> in CRM system.
    3. As you know we have 3 Org Units as far as Sales is concerned i.e. Sales Org, Sales Office, Sales Group.
    4. In R/3 there is a standard way to maintain multiple assignments among these org units.
Ex: Sales Group 'X' works (assigned) for 2 Sales Offices 'North' and 'South' simultaneously.
    5. But in CRM this assignment is not as common as in R/3 and is not supported thru SBIV.
    6. If you would like to have these multiple assignments made in R/3 available in CRM as well you may want to go thru EBIV.
    7. Once you run EBIV you cannot go back to SBIV.
    8. In EBIV divisions and distribution channels can only be assigned to sales units (sales organizations, sales offices, and sales groups). If they are assigned to any other neutral Org Units (Org Units without any Org Attributes), those assignments would be deleted once you shift from SBIV to EBIV.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

  • Organizational Model Generation

What is the procedure for generating an Organizational Model using a report?

    Hi Everyone,
I want to generate the Org. Model for sales in CRM with data in R/3. Normally, the sales offices are assigned to multiple sales area. I understand that this is possible in CRM through the enhance Enhanced Backend Integration Version. I was wondering which task should I perform first: switch to Enhanced Backend Integration Version or generate the sales Org. Model from r/3? I'd appreciate your reply. Points would be rewarded. Thx

  • Error in generating Run time version of the KB Object of a VC Product

    Hi All
There is a VC Product which needs to be transported to the CRM server via Middleware.
Hence I need to create a Knowledge Base (KB Object) and generate a Run-Time version of the same.
I am getting an error while generating the Run Time version. The description of the error is as follows:
Object characteristic COSTING_LOT_SIZE is supported in IPC scnearios 3,5
    and
Object characteristic PRICE_LIST is not supported in IPC scnearios.
The exceptions raised are STPO-MENGE (Component Quantity) and SDCOM-VKOND (Variant Condition)
Please provide your inputs and suggestions in this regard.
P.S: Once I generate the run time version successfully, the CRM Middleware Consultant needs to download the VC Product to CRM.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Mike,
It likely is the viewer causing the problem. 2008 now has cascading parameters and the activex viewer does not support them.
All I can suggest is you try CR XI R2 which you can upgrade for free, you have to contact CIC to get a keycode to deploy your app, and test again.
R2 is out of support now so no fixes available...

  • Discard the Modified version of the data model

    Dear all,
In BI 7.0, I have created a cube and activate it. Then, we modify the cube and save . The system now have 2 version(A & M) of the cube. If I decide that I don't want the modified version of the cube, is there any way we can delete the modifed vesion and do the enhance from activate version of the cube?
    Best Regards,
    Jeff

In BW 3.5 there is a menu entry InfoCube -> Cancel Changes. This removes your changes and sets it back to the activated version. You should have the same entry in BI 7.0.
    Best regards
