Enhanced forecaster does not work with my current firefox 3.6 I can go to help and hit repair/extensions and it works for a while. When you go to add ons, it says it is not compatible with 3.6. I downloaded 4.0 and it's the same way. It does not work.

Problem resolved. I was able to download Firefox 4.0.1 and make the software work. Thank you for the on line support.

Mail Merge not compatible with Firefox 31.01. How do I fix this problem?

Hi everyone currently seeing this.
I downloaded Mail Merge from the add-ons for Thunderbird.
I tried to install it from file in the add-ons page and a message appeared saying Mail Merge could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 31.01.
Can anyone please tell me what I can do to fix this problem.

You can turn off compatibility checking, but more and more of the Google Toolbar will not work. Google is no longer supporting the Google Toolbar so you should use the alternatives.

Shockwave Flash above version 11.2.202.235 not compatible with Firefox 14.0.1

I am using Firefox 14.0.1 with Shockwave Flash. If I use any version of Shockwave Flash later than 11.2.202.235 I can not watch videos such as Youtube. All I get is a white screen. If I roll back to SF Ver .235 the videos play fine. I do not have this problem with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer.

Why do I get and error when attempting to install the lighting calendar that it is not compatible with firefox 34.0.5..

I am using firefox 34.0.5, my thunderbird is 31.3.0 and I am attempting to install the lightning calendar. I checked the compatibility list. I downloaded the correct version of lightning and each time i attempt to install any version it fails and gives me the errors that this version is not compatible with firefox 34.0.5. Found workaround for that problem.
# Open up the about:config page (type it in the address bar and enter) and then right-click anywhere in the about:config page and choose New –> Boolean.
# Write extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0 and make it false.
What it does, is disables automatic compatibility checking from firefox, so you could still use your older add-ons that are not compatible with firefox 4.

Hi there, I've just bought a new Garmin GPS for car. To start it up you need to register the unit. To register the unit you have to download their plug in. When I try to I get a message to say that it isn't compatible with Firefox 5. I'd rather not change from Firefox, so I'm just wondering if it will be compatible in the near future? It appears to have been compatible with Firefox 3.6+ - so perhaps you could tell me how to revert to that if possible for now? Thank you, Eva

Compatibility of the Garmin Communicator Plugin is up to Garmin. Look for an updated version of that Plugin at the Garmin web site.

We just bought a blue ray with pc to tv capabilities. The Sony website offered plug ins to enable this feature. Please read that bug I linked you to and let me know if the last comment in the bug solves your problem. Apparently the problem is about the addon .xpi file being read-only. Try right-clicking it, going to Properties and unchecking the "Read-only" attribute box at the bottom of the dialog. Click Apply, then OK.
