Enhanced podcost upload fails on YouTube

I recently moved from a computer with GarageBand 08 to 09. I make enhanced podcasts for my class and post them on YouTube. In the 08 version this worked perfectly, but with the new computer (OS 10.6 and GarageBand 09) the podcast file is created with no problem as an .m4a file, but when I upload it to YouTube the pictures get cropped and messed up. Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas?

There could be any number of reasons for this, and you can go nuts trying to figure it out.
I'd recommend you use this method to upload to YouTube until it resolves itself. Most people feel it gives better results anyway.

  • YouTube Upload Failed

Liking FCPX so far.... (I'm not a professional more of a prosumer....)
Anyone had any success in uploading to YouTube?
I started an upload last night using the "Export to YouTube" menu
not a lot of options on selecting quality etc.......
FCPX launches the "Export Monitor" - but keeps FCPX tied up during the whole upload process
This took over 7 hours!!! (The movie was less than 10 mins long)
I left it going overnight - as I said, during the upload FCPX is not useable for anything else - This is not done as a background task
This morning FCPX is available again, and Export Monitor reports "Upload successfull"
    However - Youtube reports
    "Failed (Upload Aborted)"
    So questions
    1) Why did it fail - will it do the same if I try again?
    2) Why does it tie FCPX up for the entire export duration?
I would understand if its a priority task as it renders the movie, but once it starts the upload to YouTube please let me work again
    3) What I would now like to do is export the file from FCPX - and then upload it manully using the YouTube webpage - But the export options are so limited. Do I really have to buy compressor? My first attempt resulted in a file over 5Gb - I don't want to upload that! How do I get a smaller file for YouTube?
    4) I've started an export for AppleTV (This has tied up FCPX again) - The Estimated time just keeps going up........
iMovie11 has more options to be able to export files.
    Regards
    Julian

  • The upload video to the web button does nothing, It was working yesterday but the upload failed.

Yesterday the upload to web function was working fine, this is my first attempt to up load a video to you-tube. It failed yesterday as the library closed and I lost my internet connection. I reworked the video some, rendered it and when I pushed the upload to web button, nothing happens. I am connected to the internet, what is up ?

    Homefree223
I have just finished two successful uploads to YouTube at the YouTube web site, both were 1080p60 video (H.264.mp4 produced in Premiere Elements 11 with a target bitrate of about 32 Mbps (megabits per second) and maximum bitrate of about 40 Mbps (megabits per second). The uploads at the YouTube web site went without problems and the quality of the video displayed on YouTube was good. The point of all this was to demonstrate that at this time YouTube was not experiencing problems with a 1080p60 upload at its web site and that the quality of the finished upload was good. Depending on file size requirement, bitrate rates higher than the above can be looked at.
But let us recap to make sure that we have not mis-communicated on any of the details. Please correct me if any of my assumptions were incorrect:
    1. You have a 1080p60 Premiere Elements 11 Windows Timeline (Expert view) and you export that to file and then upload that file at the YouTube web site. We have not gone into the specifics of the properties of the Premiere Elements 11 generated file being uploaded, but probably are:
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    AVCHD
    MP4- H.264 1920 x 1080p30 (p30 converted to p60 in the settings under Advanced Button/Video Tab...bitrate used Target 32 Mbps and Maximum 40 Mbps)
    or
2, Instead, you have been trying to upload your 1080p60 Timeline direct to YouTube from within Premiere Elements 11, via Publish+Share/Online/YouTube where you might be setting Presets = "High Definition Video for YouTube - 1920 x 1080"? You realize that the frame rate for the preset in this case is 30 frames per second, not 60.
If "2" is the focus of the problem, then try approach "1" to determine if that works for you. The disadvantage of the direct upload from within Premiere Elements 11 is that there are no adjustments available for the preset used. It is, what it is.
    2. Also, what did you mean by:
"It failed yesterday as the library closed and I lost my internet connection."
Please review the above. I am heading to my Premiere Elements 11 Windows to try approach "2" which I have not yet.
    Thanks.

  • Can't put my movie anywhere or upload it to youtube

    help

Ok... so I've been struggling with this issue the last two days, and I've finally figured it out...
YouTube's title character limit is 100.
The video I was having issues with had a title of 101 characters.
iMovie doesn't tell you this. Instead, it just wastes your time encoding the video and uploading it to the YouTube server, but then ultimately fails when YouTube doesn't accept the title.
I only came to this realization after resorting to exporting the vid through quicktime and uploading it through the web interface. The video uploaded fine, but when I tried to save the title and settings - it told me to "check the title".
I suppose there could also be other settings that YouTube could reject, but I'm guessing this should fix all your problems too.
    Good luck!

  • What is the simplest way to make and upload video to YouTube?

I’m a video novice trying to figure this out. We want to start making short customer testimonial videos and upload them to YouTube as part of a social media marketing campaign. I want to come up with a solution that is fast and easy, takes as little time as possible. On the recommendation of an associate I bought a Flip Video camera and that worked beautifully except for one problem, the audio volume of the recordings was ridiculously low. So am returning that.
We have a Panasonic PV-GS65 and I can use that, but the only way I've figured out how to make a video there and get it onto my computer is to connect it to iMovie, let it play/load into iMovie, then from there I don’t know how to get it uploaded to YouTube but I'm guessing I have to do some formatting/compressing, then manually upload, and that is all way more hassle than I'm looking for.
I LOVED the simplicity of the Flip Video approach. Shoot it, the camera directly in, select the video, push the upload button and it was done. If the audio quality was better I'd use that for sure.
Any suggestions? If there’s something similar to Flip Video that I can buy cheap and use, I'll do it. If there’s an easy way to use our current camcorder, that’s fine too. But I can’t be messing around for 10-15 minutes trying to import, format and then upload this stuff. I have a business to run.
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!

that will work if necessary, but it still more steps and more time consuming than my ideal solution.
Would love to find something that makes the process as simple as Flip Video does.
Man, if their microphone was just a bit more sensitive, that solution would’ve been perfect.

  • ADFDi Excel upload failed in a new session

ADFDi Excel upload failed when a change was made in a locally saved ADFDi Excel file.  This should be a very common disconnected scenario.  I must miss something.  Here are high-level steps that I have done.
    1. Open a ADFDi Excel from a ADF page.
    2. Download data to Excel
    3. Modify a row in ADF table component in the Excel, then save the Excel file locally.  (If I clicked the 'Save' button instead of saving the file locally, the change was uploaded to the server correctly).
    4. Open the locally saved Excel, and accept the option to connect to the server and login.  A new session should be created in the ADF web application.
    5. Click 'No' in the popup window of "Do you want to discard the pending change?"
    6. The 'changed' indicator is shown on the changed row in the Excel.  Click 'Save' button, which has two actions - Upsync and ADFTable.upload
    7. On the server, a 'Row not found' exception is thrown from DCJboDataControl.setCurrentRowInRSI().  In this method, it tries to find the row in the ViewObject instance using the uploaded row's key.  The code is rsi.findByKey(key, 1).  I checked the value of key.  It looks correct. But no row is return from findByKey() call.  Then 'No row found' exception is thrown.
    My JDev version 11.1.1.7
Greatly appreciate any suggestion on what could be wrong?

    HI
I am facing the same issue. Are you able to resolve this issue or any solution around ?
    Thanks

  • I recored a video with my ipad, downloaded it to my mac but I cant upload it to Youtube because the format IMG is not a video format. How can I convert it?

How can I convert a video I took with my ipad on the format IMG to a supported format for Youtube?

To upload videos to YouTube we have to make sure videos are in a format that YouTube accepts. Here’s the list of some well-known video formats which YouTube supports:
WebM files (Vp8 video codec and Vorbis Audio codec)
MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files – (typically supporting h264 and mpeg4 video codecs and AAC audio codec)
AVI (Many cameras output this format – typically the video codec is MJPEG and audio is PCM)
MPEGPS (Typically supporting MPEG2 video codec and MP2 audio)
    WMV)
FLV (Adobe – FLV1 video codec, MP3 audio)
But I think you get the wrong video file. iPad recorded video files are in m4v, mp4, mov, avi format but not the img files. Anyway, if you need a video converter, Format factory or iFunia video converter are good choice.
    Good luck!

  • How do I upload videos to Youtube from my iMac?  The videos were taken on my Iphone.

I need to make some videos I took available to an online class.  The videos were taken on my Iphone and uploaded onto my Imac, and I want to either upload them to Youtube or Vimeo.  Youtube says that I am using an unsupported file.  {IMG.}  Can anyone explain to me how to convert them so that they're uploadable?  Thanks so much!

Try entering your login code 4 digits to unlock the phone. Then connect it.

  • How do I convert an iMovie file to an mp4 so I can upload it to YouTube?

I just created my first iMovie in the latest version and I need to upload it to Youtube.  When I try to do that, it gives me the message that it is not in a supported file... I need to convert it to an mp4 or something similar.   I am totally new to the latest version of iMovie and cannot figure out how to convert my file.  Any help would be appreciated.  I watched a tutorial on YouTube and when the guy shared his iMovie to a file on his desktop, it automatically transferred as an mp4 file.  Mine is a TS folder?   Help!

iMovie will not have created a video file with the .ts extension.  To share your iMovie 10 project to Youtube you should not have to do any conversion - just follow the instructions at:
    http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.0/#move0470816c
(If you share to file it will create a .mp4 file which you could then upload to YouTube but the instructions above shares direct to YouTube).

  • PAR upload failed

    Hi All,
I am just trying to deploy my sample Portal Project Application from NWDS through Quick PAR upload into Portal Server, this is the first time i am getting this error, i don't know why
    The error is like below
    PAR upload failed:
i did all settings also, if i miss any settings let me know.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Abhi.

    HI Abrahim..
There r various ways of deploying a par file:
As thread shows u r deploying it with NWDS. U can also deploy it with SDM and through admin consloe.
    Steps : Through Admin Console
you should have system admin role to upload it from portal.
go to system administration-support-portal runtime-administration console from there you can upload par files
    With the help of SDM:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/22/a7663bb3808c1fe10000000a114084/frameset.htm
    One another way:
well for redeployin a par file the easiest way would be:
    1. open a browser
    2. go to http://<your portal host>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prttarget/PortalAnywhere.default
    3. Upload the PAR file
That's it, changes take effect immediately.
if have any querry pls revert back:

  • PAR File upload Failed in NWDS

    Hi ,
i.While i m trying to deploy PAR file from NWDS it showing Error like this"<b>PAR Fileupload Faild Please Check the user Name And Password</b> " .Also I tried this with admin Userid and Password,it showing the same error.
ii.I can able to Login in to the Portal,But i cant deploy the PAR File.
Help me to get through this .
    Regards,
    Malini.V

    Hello Malini,
There is no configuration on server side for uploading PAR files. Please check your EP Server settings they can be the only cause of error. In NWDS please go to Windows->prefrences->SAP Enterprise Portal. Provide all the necessary details over there.
You should use a user id which is having super_admin role assigned to it.
In case you still get error that upload failed, In NWDS please go to Windows->prefrences->Workbench->Proxy Settings. remove proxy if it is there.
Also the upload can fail depending of the content of the file, please ensure that there is no error in the code you are using.

  • Unable to submit form without attachment if file upload fails

    Hi All,
I have a form, in which I have a input file component.
Scenario 1 - If i don't attach anything and submit the form, it is successful.
Scenario 2 - If I attach a file of size less than 2 MB and then submit, it is successful.
Scenario 3 - If I attach a file of size greater than 2 MB and then submit, ADF gives an error message saying " File is large" which is expected.
3.1 - In the scenario 3, after file upload fails, I want to submit the form without attaching any file. But the form isn't submitted and the warning message always pops up.
3.2 - If I upload file of size less than 2MB again and then submit, it is successful.
Please help me in resolving the issue.
    Thanks,
    Harini.

    Try clearing the error messages
    <af:resource type="javascript">
    function clearMessagesForComponent(evt){
    AdfPage.PAGE.clearAllMessages();
    evt.cancel();
</af:resource>Now all yo uneed to do is to call this javascript method e.g. using a <af:clientListener method="clearMessagesForComponent" type="focus"/>on a button or any other field.
