SRM Workflow: Creation of new user WS10000192

Hi All,
I am currently working on workflow configuration whenever a new user is created in SRM. I understand that the event (BUS4101 --> saved) is triggered when saving the new user and the workflow 10000192 is triggered from it. But the problem is only the first background step is completed (successfully) and the control is not proceeding to the next step (viewed from the graphical log - the green line is stuck in the middle of background task and the foreground task). I have done the agent assignment for all the tasks.
Could anyone let me what could be wrong?

If your workflow is stopped in the first backgrounds, without changing the status to error, you should first check to see if you have a ShortDunmp (ST22). If not check the trfc queue in transaction SM58.
Furthermore you should check your technical workflow log, you could have some agent resolvement problems - these should appear in the log.

Enhancement spot creation error

Hi all,
i tried to create an enhancement spot , in that i troed to give an interface name .
i am getting an error :
Interface IF_XXXX_ BADI does not include interface IF_BADI_INTERFACE.
can anyone let me know what the problem is if possible with some example .

Hi Roby,
Once the interface for an enhancement spot is created you have to delete it completely as some part of it would still exist if you just delete it from se24 or se18.
the classes which actually implements the interface or enhancement spot / implementations at times are left and thats why when you create it again it will not ask you for Package assignment if you will observe.
So i will suggest to try checking the Spot components from se80 transaction and delete it completely. Also check if the entry still exists in tadir table which i am sure will be there even after you delete as i also encountered the same issue once.
Thats why i suggested you to create it with a new name for E-spot and interface too and check otherwise may be change the tadir entry as well.

Share Point 2013 Designer not showing platform as "Share point 2013 Workflow" at the time of workflow creation.

Hi All,
I am trying to create workflow for my Share Point 2013 site. To do this, I installed Share Point 2013 Designer,
then created couple of workflows in that, using "Share point 2013 Workflow" platform.
But when today, I tried to create workflow, I found that "Share point 2013 Workflow" platform option was not there. Because of that I am unable to create and deploy workflow on my SP 2013 site.
I am really not getting the problem. As I created some workflows using "Share point 2013 Workflow" platform on same share point designer and now I dont see that option in dropdown.
Please suggest me something for this. I tried all possible solution which are present on internet.

Since you are posting the thread in SharePoint 2013 server forum, I assume you are using SharePoint server 2013.
I understand the option SharePoint 2013 platform disappears when you create a workflow in Designer, the issue might be caused by workflow manager. Please refer to the article below and check workflow configuration per the steps listed:

Enhancement Point Creation in Internal table

Hi,
I want to create a Enhancement Point in Internal table declared in Customize Program.
This is more related to clarification of concept related to Enhancment Point.
But when i am putting the cursor inside the internal table and right click and Enhancment -> create ,it is giving me a message
that "Position of enhancement section/point statement is not allowed".
This means that we can't create Enhancement point or Enhancement Section inside the Internal table and solution is we can use
only Implicit Enhancement point.
But the doubt is that i had seen SAP programs where they have created the Enhancement point in the internal table declarations.
How that is possible then?
Please provide your helpful answers to get me more clarification on Enhancement Point/

Now in the internal table lbbes they have created the enhancement point and in implementation of enhancement point they have declare some extra fields.This is not a implicit enhancement but it is a explicit enhancment implementation with the help of enhancement point.
Similarly if i have to do in my customize program then how to go ahead?
I knew that it is possible with Implicit Enhancement point and i can implement that also.

ODM within Oracle SQL Developer 3.0 , no progress during Workflow creation

I am trying to follow the instructions mentioned at http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/db/11g/r2/prod/bidw/datamining/ODM11gR2.htm
In the "Create a Workflow and Add a Data Source" section when i try to create a new New Workflow from the menu, the Oracle SQL Developer 3.0 just shows a progress bar pop up with message "Validating and Updating Workflow". The workflow does not gets created even after 6 hours while the progress bar keeps moving. I tried it several times but no luck and hence not able to move further.

Are you using the SQL Developer 3.0 Production Release?
Can you try again, but this time launch SQL Developer using the following file:
C:\<SQLDEVELOPER INSTALL DIRECTORY>\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin\sqldeveloper.exe
This will display a console window prior to SQL Developer UI being displayed.
There may be some unexpected exception that is being thrown.
It should display in this console window and give us more information to go on.
It sounds like you were able to create a Project ok.
Did you have any issues during the install of the repository?
Did you happen to save the log?
If so, can you paste it in this thread?

User exit to enhance PR creation from work order (WO)

Hi Experts,
When creating a work order, we can also automatically create PR (Purchase Requisition).
My client has a requirement to change the document type of the PR (BSART) based on the order type of the WO.
I have searched through some exits haven't found any that can be used to manipulate the PR creation process.
Does any one have any knowledge of user exit or BADI that can be used to achieve this? Your help is greatly appreciated.

A tutorial on custom workflow creation?

I have tried using Apple's documentation to customize a workflow. I took the Blog workflow and took out some of the encodings, didn't need them. I wanted to have the workflow to post to another group. I created four new properties and also changed the properties in the template.plist. The title and the description of the podcast is posted on the new blog site but the video is not posted. I am not getting any failures. The completed video is in the Podcasts folder in the shared space. Can someone please create a detailed tutorial of how to modify the workflows and what also needs to be set in custom properties?

By "on the new blog site" you mean to a user's blog or to an other group's blog..? I thought this evening, i could try to change in pcp properties the parameter "group short name" by a kind of variable like "<group short name>" so depending on the user who is posting it posts in his group..i'll try it tomorrow..
Anyway, if you could tell us a little bit more about the custom properties you used or how you modified you workflow, i think we all will be grateful because it's so messy...especially if you succeeded in posting on a user's blog..

Enhancement Point Creation

Can we create our own enhance point in standard program ie I want to create a point where i need to change & implement the new logic at that point.plz suggest

You can create your own enhancement points.Go to the standard report in which you want to add your own code.Press SHIFT + F4, ths standard code will come in Edit mode , but you can not edit it.
Now goto
EDIT ->Enhancement operations ->Show Implicit Enhancemet Options.Yellow lines will come at few places.These are the points where you can create your own enhancement points and add your code.You need to figure it out , where you can add your code. Right click on the yellow line ->enhancement implementation -> create, here you will be asked whether you want to create declaration or write your code.At the begining of the enhancement point you need to write declarations.
At the end of the enhancement point , again follow same procedure , here you need to write your code logic.
And then you have to activate the enhancement point.

Workflow: Creation of Rule

Hi Everybody,
I was trying to create a responsibility rule. i have created a container element for storing the vendor names. now when i was creating the responsibility i wanted to catch all the users (reponsible to enter the vendor details) depending on the vendor name letter.
At present Iam giving the value as * in From field and priority as 01 to catch all relevant users.
i was referencing the vendor names in container element to ABAP dic : ADDR1_DATA and field as NAME1.
Now when i save the responsibility iam getting an error that 'Responsibilities do not support any structures as container elemnts'.
Also when i checkes the container elemnt i was referencing AD_NAME1 Data type automatically even if i refenced to ABAp dic. in the begining . so could anyone help me to create this responsibility in the rule.

Hi Sanjay,
There could be a few reasons.
When you are using rule based workflow you must have a Badi for your workflow.Make sure the content in your Badi is correct and activated. Second possibility is that you did not maintain the service in your rule based workflow or filter in your BADI. The 3 rd possibility is that there is something wrong in your decision tables or that you perhaps forgot to activate all the decision tables.

Hello, we are building an automation software. We are planning to have a browser based front end. User will create a "workflow" like diagram user our User interface.
What is the best way to do this? If you have used bea weblogic, the process flow diagrams is something what we are looking for. Basic idea is to have user generate this entire ddiagram on front end and we pass the resultant flow chart(workflow) as simple xml data to the backend for processing.
Is it possible using applets/pure-html or something similar??

Well I haven't had any luck getting an iPhone to present an SSL certificate to an IIS7 ASP.Net webserver.
The same .p12 certificate works on IE7, PocketIE (WM6), Firefox and Safari (PC version). The website is set to Require an SSL certificate. From the Windows Mobile or PC browsers, you get a prompt for the client certificate. I have tried Nick's website and the iPhone will prompt to choose between his and my certificates, however with IIS7 you just get a 403.7 client SSL certificate required error.
I have turned on SSL tracing in HTTP.Sys and get the following (edited for length) :
