Enhancement /Demand in MD15

Question

HI Experts,
My client is telling that previously in MD15 he can able to select 2000 nos collective conversion of planned order to Purchase requestion and now he is telling in configuration it is only 500nos @ a time he can select.
I do check in OMDV transaction it is only 500,now my qn is as per my understanding SAP standard is only 500 hits now whether i can change it to 2000 nos as per his requirement also i want to know if i do configuration as per him i want to know in future we will be having any performance issue or not.
Please reply on this issue on top priority.

As per my knowledge, This is as  per SAP Std i.e. in OMDV you can select value of planned orders upto 3 figures that's why it is 500 in your case because system will not allow more than 3 figures. So you can't set it as 2000, 1000 etc. What you can do is you can change it to 999 instead of 500 so you can allow user maximum conversion possible in the system.
Further if it is necessary for you the value of 2000 to set then search exit in SMOD. In SMOD select search help with F4 then select SAP component as PP and then further drilldown under PP -
> PP- MRP and look for suitable exit.
