Enhancement of The Cube,How aggregates are going to effect

My requirment is to enhance my Cube in Live with Data to include a New Time Char into Time Dimension...
I tried of using Remodeling...but it is giving me Short Dump (Posted in other Thread)
So i am planning to perform the Below
Data Flow into my Cube is
Source System-->ODS (Delta)-->Cube(Delta)----->Multi Cube
1)create a copy cube with the new field
2)load from cube to cube via transformation,
3)reconcile the data,
But please advise on How to proceed
The Requests in the Cube is Compressed and there are aggregates defined on the cube
How its going to effect my process which i am planning to perform as above mentions

There will be no negative impact of having aggregates and compression in the source cube.

This is a problem of overall design. It is not a scripting issue.
NET USE wil only delete the drive you tell it to delete. You will need to know in advance which drive that is. There is no magic in WIndows. YOu must tel it everything.
Bill suggests GPP which is very easy to use and very flexible. It avoids learning how to write scripts and understand much of Windows. Just set the values and they do allof this for you. There are checkboxes for most issues.
Most of us have not mapped drives since shortly after the release of Vista many years ago. Save your self a lot of headaches and use the tools that were built to do this/

After exporting, the sound in some areas goes crazy

So like the title explains, after exporting the sound in a couple of areas goes crazy, like static. I tried twice, still the same result.
NB: I exported in H.264 in Apple devices 1080p, MBP retina 15 inch 2.6 GHz i7, FCPX 10.0.8

When in FCPX, the sound works fine (in mono) but when exported in H.264, the sound becomes static.
I recently had a similar problem, with Final Cut playing the audio fine but in the exported file the sound was static. The source of the problerm was that the audio was just slightly less than 48 kHz. After using Compressor to transcode the media with audio at 48 kHz and importing the transcoded file into Fianl Cut, the exported audio was fine.

Most likely yes. There's a manufacturers warranty against defects for a year. I'd contact your place of purchase and talk to them about it.

I am on dial up. Can I get the progress bar for loading a page back it helps me know how things are going.

On previous versions of Firefox there was a progress bar when you were loading a page. It was in the lower right corner. How can I get it back? It would be very helpful if there was an add on for it for those of us still on dial up.

Be aware that the loading indication that you see doesn't represent a real indication of what is happening. It just starts increasing till about 50% of the bar is filled and if it takes too long then the steps get smaller (half what is left as available space in the end or stop at all).
There is also the Net tab on the Web Console that can show how long it takes to load content.

I'm trying to recover my iCloud password so I can recover my ipad from a backup. How to differentiate the records in the cube

Hi experts,
I get data from 3 dso's to a cube through 3 DTP's.
In the cube how to recognize that a particular record came from a particular dso.
I thought of identifying it with request ids but for delta loads daily different req ids will be coming.
Can we populate the dtp name into the cube ?
If so, how ?

Yes Bhadri,
this can be done by adding another char in the cube and populating this char with diff values, lets say 'A' for DSO1, B for DSO2 and similar for third.
This char would help us identify at a later point the records source.

No Data when doing multiple selection of sub-brand in the cube

Hey everyone.
I am having a very strange situation.
No Data when doing multiple selection cube.
The thing is that the situation is created only in the transition between the servers, who have a different Build but both of them are SQL 2008R2 servers.
The Build of one of them is 10.50.2789.0 and the other one is 10.50.4000.0 (SP2).
The other properties of the cube are the same, it's Not possible to retrieve data from the cube on the server with the "SP2 when we the slicing is at the level of sub-brand and removed even one item mean we passed a multiple selection ,
This is possible only if we connect the cube as Admin .
While the server with the older "Build" the problem to perform the above operation when connected as a user not exist.
What can cause this problem,and how can we fix it?

According to your description, there are two servers in your scenario, and you cannot retrieve data from one of the cube, right? Are there any differences between the two cubes on different? You can import the database on the server into BIDS and explore
Data on the fact table on the Data Source View to check if there are any data. If we can see the data when we do Explore Data on the fact table on the Data Source View (DSV), but when we browse the cube here is no data. Then there are many possibilities for
this issue.
On the cube's Dimension Usage, the relationship between this measure group and the dimension is not correctly defined.
On the relational database, the dimensional key column on the fact table does not correspond to the key column on dimension table.
There is a Default Member on another dimension, and there is no fact table row that satisfy this condition.
If I have anything misunderstood, please point it out.

HT201272 What is it with songs that are not from the itunes store, but are coming from cd's and other download sources that all of a sudden do not play on my iphone and have a red stop button in a red round circle around them, behind the title?

Songs that I have had previously downloaded from various other sources, but NOW ALL of a sudden they DO NOT PLAY on my IPHONE and DISPLAY a RED STOP BUTTON in a red round circle next to the title. Everytime I click on it it DOESNT play. What happen???? How can i get them to play., Why should i have to pay for the songs, and why are they in the ITUNES store and not in my regular playlist.

Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

Report availabilty doesnt showup in the Cube

Hi Gurus
we have a cube and everyday full updates are loading to the cube thru process chains
we have delete overlapping req step in the process chain for this cube..
its a basic cube and it doesnt have any aggregates...
everyday around 20 requests load to this cube.,. but today, all the requests loaded for this cube and surprisingly there is no Report Availabiltiy symbol shows up even though all the reqs are successfull...
all the reqs in the cube are successfull without showing any RA symbol in the cube
when i checked the "manage" tab of the cube, no reqs are available fore reporting even though the reqs are successfull
i have already checked the transferred and added records...everything is fine and when i checked the infocube content, data is available, but no RA symbol shows up to any of the request
please help me....

I have checked althese options...
no job is running which loads to the cube...
refreshed cube many times in RSA1 and logged off and logged on ...but in vain...
still no RA symbol shows up... and all the technical and QA status of the reqs are green
wht to do i wonder??!!

Report data is from Cube or Aggregates ??

Hello Friends,
Can any one please tell.
The data in the BW Report is comming from a cube where Aggregates are bulid on it. The data is loading into the cube daily and roll up of aggregates are done one month back, since a month roll up was not taking place.
When i run report now which data i can see in the report only rollup data which is one month old (or) fresh updated data in the cube ??
Please tell me in detail.

If request has not been rolled up, then it would not be available for reportin ...check roll up flag in manage of cube...
So data is coming from aggregates, if your query can access aggregates( drilldown data is avail in aggregates),..otherwise from cube...
But there would be data sync b/w cube and aggregates...
Also you can check RSRT ( display aggregates found) to check if your quer is accessing aggregates or not.
Let me knw if you hve more doubts

Modelling the fields in the cube from different source system.......

Hi,
I need to create one query on the cube.
User want some of the fields in the query which are present in diffrent source system , rest of the fields are present in the cube.
These are master data fields ( 7 fields in total) from other source system.
Cube gets data from one ODS.
some steps I need to do are :
1) create new source system
2) Create corresponding objects in BW.
3) Model the things in ODS and cube
Can somebody let me know what is the best way/steps to model such scenario.

Hi,
Replicate both the data sources to BW.
Create 2 infosources/transformations, map them to respective fields and infoobjects.
Now assign them to cube and load the data
