Enlarged screen/icons

Odd thing; when I went to unlock my Iphone, next thing I know the home screen and everything else is enlarged and difficult to view/navigate. Any idea what may have caused this or what setting may have been changed? I have tried restarting and looking through my settings. Please help, I'm not the 'techiest' woman in texas.

You have "Zoom" turned on.
Two ways are available to turn it off..
1. Connect to iTunes. Go to the iPhone summary pane and click the "Configure Universal Access" button. Then turn Zoom off.
2. Double-tap the phone's screen with three fingers. Then go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.

Enlarged screen

My iPad air 2 has mysteriously enlarged the screen to the point that I can't sign in. I have tried every gesture I know of with no success. Yes, this did happen after I upgraded to the 8.3 system but it has done it before but not to this extent. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just want to ask about the full screen icon that used to be on the play bar but seems to have disappeared since upgrade to mountain lion, any way to get it back?

Since upgrading to mountain lion I've noticed the full screen icon which used to be on the playback bar in quicktime has gone, I know you can go to the menus to make it full screen but if you're watching something online like with apple trailers I can't seem to make them fullscreen anymore, is it me or have they just taken this option away now?

I've been playing the trailers in my browser and the full screen option has gone for me,
As already stated, the icon was replaced by the "Share" pop-up menu icon in the same location.
and the command-f keys don't work either when I'm playing in a browser and it's truly only been since I upgraded to mountain lion.
Strange! It works for me. Here is a link to a screen recording of me wayching a trailer in Safari and later watching a trailer download. In both cases the trailer could be expsnded for full screen viewing and then reduced back to the size of the original 720p player display screen. If you can't do this then you may have a player problem also.

Why did apple make these changes when they worked perfectly the old way, I mean if it ain't broke don't fix it!
Only Apple whould know for sure but my guess would be that other users may have requested the "Share" pop-up more. Makes no difference to me because I normally use the key shortcuts anyway.

probably your zoom is on. try double tapping with three fingers on your screen, it should go back to normal and then goto
settings>general>accesibility>zoom and disable it

Custom Welcome Screen Icon

Do you know whether it's possible to customize a screen icon for the iPod MINI? I would like my own icon to show up either (a) just at startup, after the apple icon, and/or (b) as a screensaver.
Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

b No, It is Not possible. The iPod Softare Does not allow You to change Any setting made for the Product (exepting Some iPod options that you can make Yourelf with your iPod).
Otherwise, You would have to find the Emplacement to Put your icon.. And Even after, You wouldn't know if You have the Good Art Type (format of the File).

Custom Home Screen Icons

I was wondering how difficult it was to create Home Screen icons for sites (like Apple and Yahoo! have).
I am a web designer and graphic artist but I'm not an "app developer." It seems it would just be a matter of creating a square graphic and somehow coding it to download when the "Add to Home Screen" is clicked.
Is this out of my league? Has anyone here made any?

In case anyone else is interested, you just need to create a 57x57 pixel graphic file, saved in PNG format, and named apple-touch-icon.png to place in the root directory of your web site. The iPhone will round the corners and add the glossy-looking overlay to the icon.
If you don't have access to the site's root directory, you can add a link to the file in the head of your HTML page... for example: *<link rel="apple-touch-icon" href="http://www.mysite.com/apple-touch-icon.png" />*
Keep in mind, they look best when kept simple.

Menu bar is missing and no full screen icon and no minimize option and cannot close firefox or clear history

My Mac automatically updated from firefox 4 to 5 today, and there is no menu bar, nor is it in full screen for there is no full screen icon. I also can't minimize the firefox windows and cannot quit the program or clear browsing history. This is a huge problem. I went to re-download firefox 4 or 5 and it said I was running 3.6 which is not true and impossible. What is going on?

Shift - command - f is the short cut to go to full screen - esc will return from Full screen to normal
as far as to where the commands are - I am (and everyone her is) a user just like yourself - we can (sometimes) help with how to use iPhoto - we can not explain why Apple makes decisions nor can we make or affect any changes

How can I get docs to fill more of the screen? Where is the "full screen" icon? FindHow said moving the mouse to the top will reveal the tools, but it doesn't. Etc.

Given what the OP wrote, he is running Lion (which doesn't display the tools palette when we use the Full Screen mode.)
In this system, there is a Full Screen icon in the right top of the window.
As I already wrote it is made of two small arrows inclided with 45°
The screenshot was made when working in standard mode.
To quit the Full Screen mode just hit Escape.

Apple TV3 Not Showing The Main Screen Icons except Computer

I tried to do everything that i've read in here..
I tried to unplug the power cable for 30 seconds and replug it, same problem occurs.
The Main Screen icons don't appear such as Youtube, Radio, the internet, etc..
I get the computer and settings icon only...(See picture)

The internet is working just fine.. The system is up to date,
I tried resetting, restarting the system.. nothing worked..
I bought 2 Apple TV 3's and they both have the same issue..
Also, when I bought it in the U.S, the sales person in NY-5th Avenue store showed me the languages available, and one of them was the Arabic language..
Now that I bought it, this language doesn't exist.. Is there a way to add more languages?

Welcome to the Apple community.
Unfortunately, a number of users appear to have encountered this problem. Some of these users have reported that the problem just disappears the following day or shortly after. Other users have found various other solutions to this problem.
Firstly, are you receiving any date and time errors when you turn on your Apple TV?
Check that you are properly connected to the Internet, by ensuring that you have a proper IP address and not one starting with 169. Also check that your location for the iTunes Store is set correctly, if so you might try changing it and then changing it back.
If the problem persists try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router, or if this doesn't work you might like to try a restore.

How do I enlarge the text in the toolbar of Safari 5. I need to be able to see the bookmarks that I've placed there. Also I would really like to be able to enlarge the icon size in the Safari toolbar too.

I am hunting for help in being able to see the text in the toolbar on Safari... also, it would be helpful, too, if I could even enlarge the icons there. I'm dealing with a vision problem and finding that it's quite frustrating when I discover I've clicked on the wrong thing or I can't find what I want to click on up there. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Took me awhile to get on a Mac that has Safari 5 on it, (I hate Safari past 3.x, so never update or use it).
Anyway, I see no options for that at all, though I think it was rumored that 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 would have it!
I think your only options are to use the Zoom in Key Combo of CMD & +, or if you don't have a numeric Keypad then CMD+Shift+equal sign, or in System Preferences>Universal Access>Seeing tab, turn Zoom on, then Option+CMD+= will Zoom it in, Option+CMS+minus sign zooms out again.
There may be some 3rd party system hacks around the text part, but they usually cause problems sooner or later.

I have an enlarged screen that will not go back to its' normal size. How can I get rid of this large screen? I have lost the option to use File, Force Quit. There is no yellow button to drop the current screen and there is no red button to quit the current screen. I have right double clicked and left double clicked and there are no options to reduce or quit. After I figure out how to get rid of this large screen, I also need to figure out how this happened so I will be careful not to do it again. Would very much appreciate any help, but will have to look for responses on my cell phone because I cannot access my email on this computer.

You have not completed a profile, so we have no idea what version of OS X you have installed. Please do that before posting a new thread. If you don't know how please click Profile Update for instructions.
To turn on a zoomed display, open System Preferences - Accesiblity - highlight Zoom in the left panel and checkmark the box called use keyboard shortcuts to zoom then use the correct keyboard shortcut.

Droid 3 - enlarging fonts, Icons

Does anyone out there know how to adjust the font size on the Droid 3. I would like to be able to adjust the fonts to a larger size, as I am having issues with being able to read it. Also is there a way to enlarge the Icons? Maybe an app for that? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
