Hi,
your hostname http://A01CAC01/172.22.2.97 does look rather strange.
Can the configtool connect to your database?
Check your profiles for the MS host.

Andi

User :This is a x64 jvm bug which makes the server crash when a par file contains a corrupted zip.
Please refer to this Note 696611 - Check j2ee lockhandler
If lockhandler unreachable, an error message is returned:
Enqu-Error: Encomi: failed to connect to binmain/3277(Connection refused)
I wanted help in how to fix this issue.
Thanks

Encomi: failed to connect to INMAA02AS03/3201(Connection refused: connect)
Hello All,
There are some changes in out portal sever, but not related to SAP EP.
So it is needed to restart the server. After restarting the server,
we are not avail to start the server. There is nothing in the SAPMMC.
"There is no item to display" is showing in the SAPMMC.
So we tried couple of time to get the SAPMMC icons by restarting the server.
But it is not getting any display in SAPMMC.
I am sending some part of the latest log file of that server below:
Our server name is INMAA02AS03.

What can I do to restore my Adobe Reader to working order. Worked fine yesterday. Today, won't open any pdf docs in Adobe or saved on the computer. Message keeps popping up: Fatal Error: Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.

Adobe Reader 9.1 - Fatal Error : Acrobat failed to connect a DDE server
Hi Everyone,
I have some users telling me that when they try to open a pdf attachment in Outlook 2007. Nothing happens. The system just sits there as if you did not click on the attachment. If you wait long enought a popup box from adobe reader comes up and says:
Fatal Error
Acrobat failed to connect a DDE server.
All the PDFs are very simple, just simple scanned images or converted over from a document into a PDF.
I've tried repairing the install and still had no luck - same behaviour. The only way the pdf opens is if we go into task manager and close the AcroRd32.exe process or logoff and log back in.
If it helps, the most recent system change was the upgrade to IE7 and a new anti-virus software.
Thanks,
KEvinNo solution I am afraid but same problem, running full version of AVG and problem hit immediately after Adobe Reader 9.1 upgrade. Pretty darn sure problem is in the upgrade but the relevant Restore Point was overwritten before I figured it out. Any advice welcome.

I downloaded Adobe Reader X 10.1.4 lately and I could not open any pdf file I have and gave a message, "An Internal Error Occurred. I tried to change it under the Program Features for updates and fixes and re-started my computer. Then I tried to open again a pdf file and a message " Fatal Error", Adobe failed to connect to DDE Server. What do I need to do to fix this up? Is Adobe even aware of this?
If all things fail and you are not getting a resolution to this. Delete the Windows 7 User profile. C:\Windows\Users\<user name>
Reboot, then recreate the user profile by logging on as the User. You are not done yet.
Logoff and log back as Administrator and go to Regedit and manually delete the user profile from the Registry.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\[SID] look for the User name.bak
Delete it. Then reboot and go back and log on as the user. That should fix it.
If you get lost with those instructions on how to delete user profile. Go to this link:

What do i do when I receive Fatal Error Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE Server
Can I get some help? I can't get the Acrobat XI Pro to open...I get the Fatal Error Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server.
You already setup a discussion for this, no need to create more. It has only been an hour since your last post. Considering this is Sunday, you may have to wait a while, though it really comes down to when someone with an answer happens to stop by. We are just users, not employees of Adobe (that is why it is called a user-to-user forum). I remember seeing posts on this in the past and suggest you do a forum search for past posts. I do not have the solution at hand.
There are several posts under "DDE Server Acrobat Installation" search. -
I have installed LifeCycle trial version .
and trying to convert pdf to rtf
using following initialization
Properties connectionProps = new Properties();
connectionProps.setProperty(ServiceClientFactoryProperties.DSC_DEFAULT_EJB_ENDPOINT, "jnp://localhost:1099");
connectionProps.setProperty(ServiceClientFactoryProperties.DSC_TRANSPORT_PROTOCOL,Service ClientFactoryProperties.DSC_EJB_PROTOCOL);
connectionProps.setProperty(ServiceClientFactoryProperties.DSC_SERVER_TYPE, "JBoss");
connectionProps.setProperty(ServiceClientFactoryProperties.DSC_CREDENTIAL_USERNAME, "administrator");
connectionProps.setProperty(ServiceClientFactoryProperties.DSC_CREDENTIAL_PASSWORD, "password");
//Create a ServiceClientFactory instance
ServiceClientFactory factory = ServiceClientFactory.createInstance(connectionProps);
but i am getting error like following though i have started jboss which is inside lifecycle folder by run.bat
ERROR IS:Error OCCURRED: Failed to connect to LiveCycle server via RMI. Make sure that the server is running and accessible to this client.May be you could use "netstat" or other tools like "ActivePorts" to ensure that ports established are correct.
Also try if jnp://127.0.0.1:1099 works or not, if ports are correct. -
Decision Service calls failing with connection refused
Hi All,
Breifing of the bpel process - Async bpel process XX_BPEL_ASYNC_002 calls decision services and a sync bpel process XX_BPEL_SYNC_001.
We have moved to cluster 10.1.3.5.0 from 10.1.3.3.0 and the deployement of the bpel process and the decision service done on two nodes i.e., node51 and node55.
But the bpel process is able to call the decision service only when the node 51 is UP and running, but if node 51 is down and node 55 is up and running it is failing with connection refused error. It is also working when 55 is DOWN and 051 is UP.
the exact error is:
exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: Connection refused.
We are using file based repository.
It is failing when it tries to call particular url:
http://loadbalancerurl:7777/orabpel/domain001/XX_BPEL_ASYNC_002/1.0/decisionservices.decs
Can anyone please help me or advice me for finding some solution.
Thanks
SreejitHi Fatsah,
It has been a while since we resolved this problem. But these were the basic steps that we had taken.
The receiver was configured a File adatpter with FTP:
Port: 10021
Connection security : FTPS (FTP using SSL/TLS) for Control and Data Connection
Command Order: AUTH TLS,USER,PASS,PBSZ,PROT
Problem: The message was blocked in our firewall.
FTPS in this case used 10021 as the control port and the firewall allowed to pass the control request.
Once the connection was accepted at the control level, it generated a random port number to pass data on the channel.
This random port number was blocked in the firewall.
We monitored the data port numbers generated at firewall. Then we configured the firewall to open any port number between the specific IP addresses of the sender and the receiver. That resolved the problem.
Hope this helps!
Please give points if this is helpful.
Thank you.

LPR Error from LprSendControlFile(): 111 - Connection refused
Hi,
one of our printers produces the error message:
"LPR Error from LprSendControlFile(): 111 - Connection refused".
I can ping the printer.
Used different workstations but no problem of a single workstation.
Restart of the printer has no beneficial impact.
The printer was ok for over six month.
All other printers are ok.
No patches installed within last days.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,
I keep getting the following message:
(this is an icon in this area of a camera sitting on pictures)
Failed to connect to the device.
-Check the I/F cable connection between the device and your computer
-Please turn off the device once, and then turn ON the device again.
Then try again.
[MTW005] OK (this is highlighted like you can click on it, but nothing happens when you click on it)
I don't have this device even plugged in because I haven't a need for it. Yet the message keep showing up. I thought I would out smart the error message and plugged in the device (ScanDisk 4 in 1 (media card) reader. But I was the one out smarted. Nothing changed. I still have the error message, even after restarting the computer or shutting down and turning back on. All I can do with the message is slide it the edges of my screen display so it isn't in the way. Help, how do I get rid of this problem. This has happened before and then one day the error message disappears for awhile to only come back yesterday to drive me nuts (short drive by the way).Hello,
Try going to Macintosh HD > Applications > Image Capture > Image Capture menu > Preferences... > General tab > "When a camera is connected, open: " set it to 'iPhoto' or 'No Application'.
