  • Enquiry about audigy 4 [NON-PRO] & audigy 2

Hi, I would like to make an enquiry about a few creative products.
I am currently intrested in getting a T7900 speaker system.
However i have doubts on the soundcard that i should get.
Could anyone identify the difference with a Audigy 4 [NON-Pro] and a Audigy 2 ZS.
I couldn't find any through comparison on these 2 products in the whole creative website.
And also, is the T7900 7. speaker system compatible with either of the 2 audigy sound cards.
Which card would you recommand me to go for too.
Thanks in advance. =)Message Edited by kutysam on 02-8-200603:48 AM

Well im feeling lazy ATM so I have no technical data to pass on. I would say thought the differents are :
: Price,, hmm get which is cheaper
2: The Audigy 4 would have ( at a guess anyway?)?more settings/tools and banks for media creation and the like.
Other than that, not a great deal between them. As far as games go, they both do the very same thing and with DVD movies they would produce the same rates as with music.
Id say, get the ZS if your into games and DVDs+music, or get the A 4 for the same reasons + Media creation/mixing and stuff like that.
Like I said, to lazy to research it further but close enough

  • The "about:tabs" message always appears. The close button appears inactive so checking the "don't show this again" option doesn't work.

I am running Firefox 3.6.13 under windows/xp. All of a sudden, when opening a new tab the "about:tabs" message comes up all the time. I checked the box labeled "do not show this message again" but the "close" box seems to be inactive. Pressing it has no affect so apparently the option to suppress the message is not set. The new tab must be closed manually.

I lost several App Icons after install of 3.0 upgrade. Facebook, Tweetie, Birdhouse and a few others are no longer on the home screen, but they do sync through iTunes and I can access them if I move the home screen to the right (to show the spotlight search screen) and I can open them, the icons just won't show up. It is very inconvenient, hope Apple creates a fix for this soon.

  • What is the significance of the blue, green and grey highlighted names in the directory used to text or iMessage? This is not about the messaging themselves, but the names to select to text or iMessage.

What is the significance of the blue, green and grey highlighted names in the directory used to text or iMessage? This is not about the messaging themselves, but the names to select to text or iMessage.

The entries in blue are people you've recently exchanged iMessages with, the ones in green are people with whom you've recently exchanged SMS messages and the ones in grey are people with whom you have not recently exchanged any messages.

If I'm in Mexico and skyping with someone in the US, will it go against my data plan? What about text messaging?

Unless you are connected to an available wi-fi network when Skyping, when doing so via a carrier's cellular network goes against your data plan. The same when using any app that requires internet access.
SMS is exchanged over the same network as calls, so no data usage with SMS.
MMS is exchanged over the carrier's cellular data or internet network so MMS goes against your data plan.

  • Some question about receiving messages from Skype ...

    Hello there,
I have a question or two about recieving messages from Skype users, who are not on my contact list"
    1. If I have enabled to only receive messages from people in my contact list, will they be notified when they try to send me an instant message, that they need to add me first?
    2. Will I still be able to see messages sent by contacts who are not in my contact list and them see my messages*, if we are both in a Skype conversation group but not on each other's contact list? *The messages either one of us posts in the Skype group conversation
    I appreciate the information
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    1. The person sending this message will not receive any notification about failing message delivery. The message will just disappear in nowhere.
    2. Messages exchanged in group chats will be seen both by you and the other person, even if this person is not in your Contact List.

  • Enquiry about Mac Pro Software

My wife and I are trying to decide whether to purchase an IMac or a Mac Pro.
We like the sleekness of the IMac and the fact that everything is in one unit. Having said that, acquiring a machine that can grow with our needs is high on our list of priorities.
If we choose a Mac Pro, do we have to purchase the iLife software separately? Also, can a Mac Pro be upgraded from OS X to OS X Server?
Thanks to everyone for considering this enquiry.
        none

    From: http://www.apple.com/macpro/specs.html
iWork and Office are trials. iLife is included.
Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger (includes Spotlight, Dashboard, Mail, iChat AV, Safari, QuickTime, iCal, and other software) iLife ’06 (includes iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie HD, iDVD, iWeb, GarageBand) Comic Life Omni Outliner

  • Conflicting info about Nokia Messaging phone compa...

    On the page
    http://www.nokia.se/support-och-programvara/ladda-ner/nokia-email-service/kompatibla-telefoner
it says that Nokia N80 is compatible with Nokia Messaging, while on the main Nokia Messaging site
    http://email.nokia.com
    the N80 is not listed.
I've managed to set up an account from the phone and it briefly worked but it was set up with POP3 instead of IMAP and the server names aren't the ones currently given out by Telia. When I changed to IMAP from the web interface, the service stopped functioning altogether.
Is this a problem with the N80 phone, or are there limitations to the number of e-mails one can have on the server in order for it to work? I've only got 2200 e-mails in my inbox at the moment, and the built in client of the N80 - while very bad in many respects - could still connect successfully when I had 12000 e-mails in my inbox. The same goes for the commercial S60 e-mail client ProfiMail from Lonely Cat Games.
I've thought about getting an N900, but if this is the way Nokia Messaging "works", then I guess I should change my mind?
    Regards,
    A

The program installs background service which does the communication. It is not visible, but still it is up there running. As for the incoming - I used the early beta, but generally, Nokia messaging uses Push, so that the server would force connection. So, the advantage of Nokia Messaging is that the server would sync to multiple accounts and just then connect to your device in order to deliver new mails. Actually, the Messaging application is mainly aimed at heavy business customers. If you have one mailbox which you occasionally check, then the build-in client is just that good.

  • About interface message

    Hi,
From the manual, message is created from session. That's to say,we can only use the method of the message in the main programe. It's better if we can use message type in class made, not only in the main programe, can we?
    Thanks,
    Ping

    Thank you for your reply.
Maybe i didn't make it clear: i get used to j2se development, and it's easy to use. However, because jms is a part of j2ee, we should use other development tool. i have some little applications about cryptography developed in j2se, and i want to use jms for use of message sending and receiving, How can I do?

Thank you for that reply.I thought it wasn't the drives as CMOS recognized them.I went ahead and formatted, partitioned and installed Windows XP.Everything fell into place. I wanted to make sure I wasn't trying to install an OS over a possible error.Once XP was on,it detected the LAN not being connected. I went ahead and took the CAT5 cable out of my HP and plugged it in. WOOOHOOO! ) Online and already updated. I love this MSI nForce2 board. Saves me money having to buy a good sound card.
My first complete home build.Been wanting to do this for years!! Thanks for this forum and I hope I won't be a stranger.
