Enroll button gone

Most of my courses are private. The enroll button is no longer at the bottom of the iTunesU catalog page. Where is it? Or if it is removed, now how do we enroll people with an enrollment code?

See if the following helps:
Turn on the iPad and open iTunes U app.
Tap Library on the upper left hand corner on the iPad
Tap + sign.
Tap Enroll in a Course.
Type or paste your course enroll code.
Tap Agree

I just updated to Leopard and I cannot find the internet connect button. I can connect through a roundabout method, but why is the button gone?

FIX:
1. You need Time Machine
2. Go to folder /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL/
3. Copy AppleCamera.plugin to good place (usb memory stick is the best place).
4. Go to Time machine in date that skype work fine.
5. Change AppleCamera.plugin with file from Time Machine
6. Restart system, Now skype need to work with camera.

iTunes 7 is pretty smart overall, nevertheless I have a few serious gripes with the interface. Firstly the little 'snowflake' icon on the bottom right that switches on the visuals has been replaced by the browse and burn icons. Was there a problem with the previous layout? My wife and I use that button everytime we turn on the visuals on our Mac Mini sound system in the living room. It was super convenient because you could move in a single mouse sweep from selecting a playlist to switching on visuals. With iTunes 7 you have to either select from the pop-down menu or switch to the keyboard and press cmd+T. It might not seem such a big deal to some but it's definitely a backwards step, no matter how small.
The album art selector/display is very cool and niftily programmed however I'll never use it. The reason? Because if you fill it with album artwork, all those images are displayed over the visualiser at the start of each tune, which I HATE. I don't want sleeve designs ruining the beauty of G-Force which I paid good money to see. It's bad enough having the track info show when I already know what's playing! iTunes 7 is simply not configurable enough if you ask me, and hey, you shouldn't have to start configuring Fkeys to make up for the fundemental lack of choice in the program preferences.
I have a pal who loves the gapless playback in the new iTunes 7 because it's great for mix cds. Well maybe that's the best playback feature of iTunes 7 but I'm afraid it doesn't make up for the loss of the visualiser button, so there!

The 'close pdf' button gone in cs 5.5

I have indesign cs3 files utilising the interactive buttons and are then exported to pdf. I have upgraded to cs5.5 and the 'close pdf' button I created in cs3 no longer works. On double checking the button panel, the option for 'next page, previous page, etc' is still there but the 'close' option is gone. This means the close button on every page of the 24 page documents no longer works. These files are outputed to pdf. Why has this been removed. This is the second button option removed in the cs5.5 upgarde. We lost the email to a friend option 'attached to email' in acrobat and now functions are missing in inDesign!
Beside our clients still wanting this function, there is no way you can close a full page pdf (without menu bar) unless clicking the Esc button on your keybaord. If you are on a tablet it is then really awkard

I did that with Acrobat 10. Are you using Acrobat 8 or 9? This is a quote from Acrobat 8 help:
Select the form field that you want to duplicate.
Choose Forms > Edit Fields > Duplicate.
Note: The Duplicate command isn’t available for forms with only one page.

To duplicate the form field on every page in the form, select All, and click OK.
To duplicate the form field on a limited range of pages, click the From button, and type the start and ending pages on which you want the form field to appear.
Note: Including or not including the page on which the form field originally appears doesn’t affect the duplication process. Including that page won’t create a second copy on top of the original one, and not including it won’t remove the original form field.

"Share" buttons gone.

The row of social networking share buttons that I had on my MUSE made website have disappeared. I updated some pages and uploaded them and the icons for the share buttons were gone. I went back to addthis.com and got a new line of code and added it to my website in MUSE and uploaded and it doesn't appear at all in Google Chrome. The word "Share" appears in Firefox and the bar and icons appear in Internet Explorer, but, the buttons don't work. I am copying the code and then pasting in using the "Edit HTML" dialog and it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas?

Thanks Brad. A friend told me it was working fine on her computer (a Mac). I still have the same issue in certain browsers (Chrome and Firefox) on my HP pc. I did open a Safari browser and it looks and works as it's supposed to. I am using Windows 7 and Google Chrome is the default browser and the share buttons do not show up. Any thoughts on why that may be happening?

Where is firefox's STOP button gone Now?!!!

firefox updated itself to version 29.0.1 This update removed some of my customized toolbar icons like ieview, and moved Home button to the far right, added some icons I removed from toolbar last time because they are useless to me, and my STOP button is gone! Where is the stop button? It's not under customize!!! I'm seriously considering Opera, or Chrome now. It's was bad enough when the "programmers" removed the ESC function so some websites now take forever to load Junk and I get ticked off after 10 seconds and have to click click Stop! But now Stop is missing too...

Detect Display button gone!

This is a rather infuriating mess-up in Mountain Lion. My wife is an educator and has a class room projector she has to connect and disconnect to on a daily basis with her brand new Macbook Air.
The problem is that her Macbook Air will not detect the projector when she connects it.
The only way it will detect is if she either restarts the computer with the projector already connected or puts her computer to sleep and waits for to wake up and that sometimes works.
Where as in Lion or any other previous version of OSX in the past five years you had the option of a Display Menu button (also gone) up at the top of your screen that showed connected displays as well as a Detect Diplays option that would do the trick. To make things worse even if you go digging to the System preferences under Displays Preferences they completely removed the Detect Displays button!
The funny part is the Apple help menu still tells you click the Detect Displays button that doesn't exist.
How on earth do you take such a monumental step backwards with an OS upgrade by making settings more difficult than easier? Having to restart a computer to detect a display? As a Mac user I haven't had to do that in the past 10 years! Please return us all the display options that should be available under any circumstance period.

Well folks I did find a work around for the time being. Though it doesn't restore my options in the menu button I did uncover the Detect Displays button. I was looking at my post request and behold I saw a related article next to this thread that says OS X Mountain Lion: About the Display pane of System Preferences ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5369?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US ) in the article it shows that they did indeed hide the option but it can be uncovered. The funny thing is this article does not show up when I search for my problem.
Hold the OPTION key in the Display Preference pane and the Gather Windows button will transform into the Detect Displays button.
Here are screenshots to demonstrate what happens when you toggle the OPTION key off and on.
Again why on earth did they hide this to begin with or not include it in the Display Menu option at the top of the screen? I don't know and I hope they fix it. This is WAY TOO complicated of a solution for a simple function. Nobody is going to intuitively find the Detect Displays option.

CS6 "Combine" button gone

Pre-CS6 there was a "Combine" button when you used the Path Selection Tool (A) to select multiple shapes within the same layer.
How does one accomplish said action now that the combine button is gone? Merging two layers has not got the same effect.
Please tell me I'm not going to have to go back to CS5 to use this feature

1. Select the path name in the Paths panel, and select the Path Selection tool .
2. Click Combine in the options bar to create a single component from all overlapping components.
Merging the documentation for CS5 and CS6 seems to have been poor decision …

Ichat bluetooth button gone in leopard

Hi, Just went from 10.4.11 to 10.5.3. I see the bluetooth button in ichat windows is gone now. What was simple and elegant in Tiger is now quite difficult in Leopard. Changing to bluetooth headset simply meant pressing the bluetooth button in the chat window. It seems that I can't change from internal to bluetooth during a chat anymore. Broken? Makes me want to go back to Leopard.

Go to ichats prefs/video and click on "set up bluetooth headset.." and set up you headset again.

Speaker Button gone after downloading realtech driver

hi all new here been having issues with pc latley with internet explorer not responding and my photoshop elements 5 program not wanting to open so i downloaded all the updates for my drivers, since then my little sound Icon is gone from my tool bar and replaced with realtek HD Audio manager?? maybe this wasnt something i need to update? and how do i get the factory sound button back?? do i need to uninstall the update and if so how?

There are two volume icons that can build to the notification portion of the system tray (next to the time).
The gray speaker icon comes with Vista and is for adjusting Windows volume levels and (as you noticed) the orange volume icon is for Realtek HD Audio manager.
They both essentially do the same thing, but Realtek gives you a fancy interface, more options, and hides the Windows icon (on some models - I think).
I believe you can uninstall through add/remove programs in Control panel. Then, you can reinstall through HP's Recovery Manager program.... read about it here.

Where has the visulizer button gone???

Since I have downloded the new version of itunes the button to turn the visuliser on has gone you now have to click on view then goto the visuliser option. Ok not the end of the world but why have they taken this away.. Also I have found that it takes ages to download anything now from itunes... What has happened
