Enter a name and city for one-time account posting is the message i get ,when i am trying to post a onetime vendor .I have entered name ,country and language when the pop comes.But still throws me this message ,pls help.

Pl. specify whether you are:
-Creating a OTV
-Creating a PO for a OTV
or
doing any other transaction

The system logic is the following:
In the master record of your one-time account, there is a field called
'Reference account group'. The field status settings of the account
group entered here are relevant for the one time vendor screen.
Please note that even if the fields are changed from mandatory to
optional if the NAME and CITY of the One Time Vendor is not filled, the
system will still prompt the Error Message F5266.
If you do not enter the name and city you will receive error F5266.
The system logic here is to make sure that the name and the city being
keyed-in properly for the Executive Information System reportings.
Please note that it is hard-coded in the system.

Also if you are using any bapi to post the document, you can resolve the issue pass-in 'Name', City and Region field values in BAPI while creating the billing document.

Are you having separate account group for this One time vendor?
Via this account group, the vendor-specific fields, such as name, address, and bank address data should be changed from suppressed to display when you enter the vendor master record. You need to enter this data when you enter the document.
Check the fields status of Name, city etc in the below path

Name and city not defined in FB60 for one time account

We are on SAP ECC 6.0 and I have defined a one time vendor in the standard account group CPD One-time vend.(int.no.assgnmt).
In the screen layout for that account group I have the address details for name1 and postal code, city defined as optional entry. In the master data of the one time vendor I have however created an address so the address details like Name1 and City are filled.
When I use MIRO for creating an invoice the address details are filled for the one time vendor, but when I use FB60 it prompts the following message: 'Enter a name and city for one time postings'.
Why are the address details not filled in transaction FB60 while the have been filled in MIRO ? And why can I not post the Invoice as I have defined the name and address as optional entry in OBD3 ?

The problem is however that we have invoice scanning and when the invoice is scanned it comes into the rework fase where we enter the one Time vendor. In a normal situation the invoice wille be created and parked (status completion) after which AP clerks can either enter a Purchase order or not. With the One Time vendor I don't get an invoice document as it prompting for the Name and City. Becaue of that I entered the name and city in the vendor master data and set them to optional in OBD3. Nonetheless it still gives me the error. Also in transaction FB60. So if it doesn't work with making fields optional in the vndor accoutn group and entering the requested data in the vendor master data I probably must set the error message some where into a waring ? Funny thing is that it does work for the MIRO transaction as I am not getting the error there.

Hi. I am using a time capsule for few PC s. I have made 5 different account to access time capsule. but in windows when I enter account name and password for one account, i cannot access other accounts, because windows saves username. how can i prevent this from happenning. I really need to access all my accounts and dont want it to save automaticlly.
Why have 5 accounts if you need to access all of them.. just have one account?
Sorry I cannot follow why you would even use the PC to control the Time Capsule. Apple have not kept the Windows version of the utility up to date.. so they keep making it harder and harder to run windows with apple routers. -
Cant fix - "select a certificate or enter a name and password for network"

I cant seem to fix this message when going online, nore have I managed to find any help with it.
everytime my imac27 2010 sleeps it goes offline then this message appears...

"password"
as a result I have to play around with "join other network" every time I want to join my own network.
it was so anoying that I decided to reinstall everything from scrach, so I backed everything to time machine. but I couldnt restore as im on snow leapard and dont have an original disc with me. I moved countries so the apple store isnt round the corner any more :/ (disc would need to be shipped in)
whats interesting in my mac did not have this wifi conection problem when I took it to another location. only from home. But every other devise does not have this problem even at home...

Keeps asking for Select a certificate or enter a name and password for network
everytime i start my mac it asks for "Select a certificate or enter a name and password for network" and when i'll close it and reopen it, it still asks.

If you see that near the top right corner, click it and choose "Join other network" from the drop down list.
If you do not see that icon, then go to System Preferences (under the Apple logo in the menu bar), ciick "Network", then choose "WiFi" and choose something (probably "Assist me" at the bottom) there. -

I'm trying to connect my iMac and my WIndows tablet (got it for free) together through my home network. I open iPhoto, then "Import to Library" ; the connection fails and when I click on "Connect as" up pops this box asking me to "enter your name and password for the server -computer name here-". HELP!! Where do I find the password? I've tried everything possible and no go.

How to remove "Enter your name and password for the server"
Hi there,
I have a Mac Book Pro from 2008. I have mountain lion running on it.
We used to have a server (pc) in the office that I connected to and stored all of my photos and videos etc.
We have jsut upgraded to a new server and this connects great!
However, ever since the switch, when i open keynote, imovie or iphoto i get the error message:
"Enter your name and password for the server "192.168.0.10".
(it is trying to connect to the old server)
I have tried a bunch of fixes online but i dont think they are relevant for this issue - or i cant find what they want tme to change or remove.
Any help would be great! having this pop up while trying to create things slows everything down.

You can create a bookmark with the JavaScript code via a right-click on the "Remember Password" link on the squarefree.com website and choose "Bookmark This Link" and select the "Bookmarks Toolbar" as the destination folder for easy access.

You need to use the "Remember Password" bookmarklet before or after filling the name and password field on the website with the <u>login form</u>, but before submitting the login form by clicking a button on the web page.

I have changed the name and password for my Time Capsule and now the Time Machine will not connect

1TB Time Capsule.
Yesterday I changed the name and password on my time capsule and also the name and password of the wifi network as I was having problems with the speed of the internet when using Safari on any of my devices (1 Macbook pro, 1 macbook air, 27" iMac, iPhone and iPad) all other internet services were working fine (email etc.) This seems to have solved the problem.
However, since then, my time machine back ups will not reconnect and there is no option for me to reconnect to the existing back up for my macbook pro.
When I enter the time machine preferences it shows as below that there are no back ups.
Then, when I go to select a drive to use which should be the MacBook under the Backup disks the only option is for me to Remove Disk...
So, my question is, how do I reconnect to an existing Time Machine back up for my MacBook pro as I really do not want to erase and start all over again.
Warning - In my naiveté, I did click on the MacBook in 'Available Disks' but I got the impression that it was about to start a whole new back up and not work with the existing one.
(And does anybody have an inkling as to why there was a problem with Safari on all my devices? I downloaded Google Chrome and that worked fine).Simply reset the Time Machine.

You can then mount the TC disk in finder after you reboot the computer.
You should be able to reselect the TC disk and then it will say it is going to start a new backup.
Ignore this.. when the TM actually loads the TC disk it will discover the existing backup and continue the backup.. but it will give no hint until it actually starts that it won't start a new backup. you just have to believe it won't.. and mostly it works..
Please also install the widget A1 so you have some idea what TM is doing. -
Using FF7.01 on a HP Pavilion dv6775us laptop running Vista Home (updated continuously)
The site owner changed the rules in order to improve password security so I was required to create a new password. When I did so I was not prompted by FF7.01 to save the new password.
When I next logged into the site, FF remembered the user name but presented the old (invalid) password. I was forced to manually enter the new password, but again was not prompted to save it to FF.
I then went into FF Security, viewed the saved passwords and deleted the entry for the site in question. I expected that when I logged into that site the next time I would be asked if I wanted to save the username and password. I wasn't.
I then exited from FF and relaunched it and again logged into the site in question. I was not prompted to save the username or password.
How do I force FF to ask for and then save the username and password?Thank you for your reply.
My problem isn't removing my log-in name and password for a site.
The problem is I already had the log-in name and password saved by FF, but I was required by the site to change the password. FF did not recognize that it had changed and refuses to prompt me to save the new password.
After several attempts to force the prompt, I deleted the site from the Saved Password list, hoping that the next time I entered my log-in name and password on that site FF would ask if I wanted to save both. That did not happen even after exiting FF and relaunching it.
So, right now FF will not save my log-in name and password for a site that it used track for me. Given the complexity of the new password, I really do not want to manually enter it every time I use the site.

Mandatory address fields for One time account in sales order

In the pop-up screen of one time customer's address during sales order creation, there are some fields mandatory such as name and city. We want to make the region mandatory as it determines the taxes. Is there a configuration setting for this or any user exit.

Goto Transaction "OVA2" and under sales order header for particular procedure include the region field in your incompletion procedure.

Contact Person for One Time Account Customer?
We have set up a One Time Account Customer for use in Sales Orders, using a separate Account Group to normal customers. However when creating our sales orders, we normally put in the customer contact person in the partner tab, having created the contacts in VAP1. I have tried creating a test contact for the OTA (just something like Accounts), and it will not allow me for the Account Group OTA. How do I correct this?
In the partner determination procedure assigned to this new Account Group (One Time Customer) please make sure to add the partner function Contact Person.
I think for Sales header Partner determination procedure you already have the Partner function :Contact Person added.
