Enter code to connect to bluetooth device

Using gnome trying to connect to my bluesmirf modem. When it finds the device it asks me to enter a code of 6 digits on my bluetooth modem which of course is impossible. How can I disable that function? I´m playing with serial communication and a Arduino Uno microcontroller. I can connect to it from my Android phone with an app called Amarino over bluetooth. It does not need a security code to accept connections.

first you must put your iphone in the discover mode by going to bluetooth on your phone which places it in discovery mode. Them you must go to your car's bluetooth discovery mode and place it in discovery mode. If the phone sees the car and visa versa, the car will give you a code to place into your phone. I have an iPhone 4 with ios 5.0.1 software and i am having trouble connecting it via bluetooth to a mac so i can send pictures from one to another. I am also unable to connect to any other bluetooth device except for one in the past, a Motorola device that let you listen to music in the car wirelessly with any bluetooth device such as droid, blackberry, or iphone. My bluetooth devices used to connect to my iphone 4, but for some reason now they do not. With bluetooth setting switched on (on phone) under the devices tab all i am getting is searching....but does not pick up any of my bluetooth products!!!!!!

this is the proceedure i am carrying out and what my iphone is showing.
1). after entering settings,
2). i tap the "bluetooth" icon , (currently reading "OFF")
3). i then slide the off button to "ON".
4). screen then shows:-     Bluetooth ON
underneath the bluetooth ON box it shows an heading:-

underneath the devices box:-
                                        Searching.....       (screen shows searching icon) so it is trying

Multiple Bluetooth devices may be connected to your computer at the same time.
Set up differs from device to device. The Bluetooth set up assistant should find new devices when they are turned on and in range of your computer.

I bought recently a Pavilion 15-p036tx and I can't connect to my bluetooth device as logitech audio adapter, toshiba bluetooth mose and phone HTC.
I noticed as well that the wifi connection is realy por only 1strip.
I have a old HP Pvilion I bought in 2007 which is connecting to my bluetooth devices and the wifi is at full bandwith perfectly.
It's realy seams to be a driver issue. On the HP support donwload page the is too many drives. Which one should I use?

Hi I have a Logitech Ultrathin keyboard cover, for the new IPad. I'm using the keyboard, all the time my IPad is in use. And sometimes I want to connect my Bluedio R+ bluetooth stereo headset, with bluetooth 4.0 NFC technology. So my question is can I connect both of my external bluetooth devices, at th same time?

Problems Connecting Apple Bluetooth Devices in Windows using BootCamp

People are having trouble connecting bluetooth devices in windows 7 while using bootcamp. I solved the problem by clicking on bluetooth>ADD A DEVICE once windows has detected the bluetooth device you want to add. Now, right click on the device you are adding (make sure it's "inside the add bluetooth
Device window "see below" ) it will say "select your device". Then tick the box beside "drivers for Keyboard, Mice etc.," under "Bluetooth Services" (see below) and it will search the internet for your drivers and automatically install them. If you have any problems post a message. Good Luck

Not sure if you can help me, but I can't add my phone or some bt speakers to my MBA2011 in bootcamp. Drivers can't be found...and this is usually a problem of the bt controller drivers, not the device.
It does seem the apple bt drivers are gimped in bootcamp.

First of all, I would like to apologize if a thread already covers this issue.
I am planning on getting a Magic Mouse. I understand that it pairs with the mac via blue tooth. My question is, will I still be able to pair another blue tooth device (phone) to my mac once the magic mouse is already connected.

You can pair up multiple bluetooth devices at the same time, such as the Magic Mouse and a cell phone, no problem. My mouse can get a bit jerky while I transfer files, but that's the only problem I've seen.

After I updated my iphone 4 to 4.3.5 firmware I have not been able to connect to any bluetooth devices. Also what is strange is that I also updated my wife's 3GS to 4.3.5 and she cannot connect to any bluetooth devices eitherl. When I search for anyone else having this issue I find nothing. Anybody?

I have no bluetooth problem after updating to 4.3.5. Have you tried un-pairing the devices, then pairing them as new devices? Have you tried Reset Network Settings? And have you seen this: iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim

So unfortunately i can't connect my iPhone 5 (software is up to date on iOS 8.1) to my Jawbone device, It worked fine last week. and now it doesn't find it. turned my phone off and on again and it didn't change anything.

Have you tried to do a restore to your phone? I would do the following:
a) Backup your iPhone5 with itunes.
b) Do a restore as a new phone (I know, I know hold that thought).
c) Try to pair a bluetooth device. If you cannot see any device, then you might have a faulty Bluetooth chip.
If it works,
a) Just to a backup restore back to your phone and then repair the bluetooth device.
