Enter key no longer works in address bar

Hi, In the last couple of days, the enter key no longer works in the address bar, which is really annoying !
If I type the address I want to go to, and then hit "enter", nothing happens. I have to manually click on the "go to" icon to the right of the bar.
Is this a setting I can change back please, I certainly haven't done it knowingly or willingly, and it is really spoiling my web use on FF. I am on 3.6.13.

The same thing has just happened to me and this was very useful to correct the problem --- but now I am wondering why or how this happened. To the best of my knowledge, I haven't make any setting changes so why did I lose the Enter action?

Enter key no longer works for calculator or emails

When using the calculator on my Blackberry Curve 8330, the "enter" key no longer works as the "equals" key - nothing happens. It also has stopped working when composing emails and trying to hit "enter" to create a break between paragraphs. Any suggestions on how to get my "enter" key back?

Return key does not work in address bar after updating to Firefox 10

I just updated to Firefox 10. The return key will no longer work in the address bar. I have to manually click on the "go to" arrow. Are there any fixes for this? Thanks!

How to fill out the clipboard under "about:support" when enter button does not work in address bar? Thearrow button does not work either?

My enter btton does not work in the address bar or search engine. I have done the restart in safe mode...deleted and reinstalled firefox...done the malware/adware checks...still no improvement.
I was asked to do the "about:support" then click enter for the clipboard to paste the system notes into. That is not an option however because the orginal problem is the enter button not working. Ideas?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

Enter button doesn't work in address bar.

After inputting a site address in the address bar, either through typing or from the history/autocomplete, pressing enter does not send me to the page, and I have to manually click the go button on the right.
Disabling all my plugins didn't make any difference.

Autocompletion no longer works in address bar

The autcompletion works only with addresses I visited several weeks ago. For instance, when I type 'f', Facebook will be suggested.
But it does not work with any newer address, since about two weeks.
What can I do to recover this helpful function?

Make sure that the Location Bar is not set to "Nothing": Tools > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest: History, Bookmarks, History and Bookmarks
Make sure that you keep history.<br />
You can look at these prefs on the about:config page.

My enter key doesn't work in the address bar so I can't manually enter URLs

This is actually on my wife's computer but, apparently she recently upgraded to 3.6.13 and now the enter key doesn't work in the address bar. I can enter a URL but can never go to it because the enter key is totally non functional in the address bar. Chrome works fine and other apps work fine. The enter key works here in this text box and in the search area but not in the address bar. Weird huh!

In my Windows 7 64, my Java was update, but dissabling AVG search and restarting the problem was solved

Enter key does not work anymore in address bar after FF update

After the update the Enter key does not work anymore. Neither when I type the url directly, nor when I select it from the history.
In short FF has become unusable. Now I need to install and use a less crappy browser. Extremely sloppy, amateuristic update.

The Enter Key does not work in the location bar; I have to manually select the "Go To" icon since upgrading to Version 10.

Control key no longer works after update.

After updating Lion the control key no longer works. It beeps when pressing control and then a number key but nothing happens.
This is left control key though. Right still works?

Return Key no longer works in sql windows or procedure editors.

The <return> key no longer works in my SqlDeveloper editors. Is there an easy fix? I tried resetting the Option for the carriage return but it did not change anything.

So if you go to your shortcut keys (Tools > Preferences > Shortcut Keys) and search for "Enter", what commands are associated with the Enter shortcut? If you have tried remapping the Enter key to something else, it may have removed the standard association with the "Insert New Line" command.
You can reset to the default (which should fix the problem, but lose any custom shortcuts) with More Actions (top right) > Load Keyboard Scheme > Default.

F-secure key - no longer working

F-secure key - no longer working on ipad or iphone, crashes once password entered.?

I am using iOS 8.4 on iPad and iPhone. I have windows 10 installed on my pc. There are 39 passwords stored.
I have version 3.3.101 installed on the PC
If I sync the pc with either the iPhone or iPad and then enter the password f secure key crashes ,
