Hi,
I am unable to enter the software through manager password and as well as other user id also. I have also check the user table u201DOUSRu201D that table also missing in the DB. Also I tried in the previous DB. But same thing happen. Please help me.

Hi Mayank,
I suggest you to restore the database from a valid backup version. You are not sure if other database objects were deleted.

First of all really you should be going through the webserver plugin port if you want to access the other components through workspace.
e.g. http://localhost:19000/workspace
If you entering the correct login details and the account you are using is provisioned then you could check out what information is in the logs :- \Hyperion\logs\BIPlus\SharedServices_Security_Client.log

Partial success in that I have been able to get mails onto the iPad - however....
Progress from a previous 'rumage' on problem discussions. I have succeded in setting up the iPad so that it receives emails from the sky address under 'MAIL' on the iPad. However trying to open in the 'usual' way - safari - then sky - then email - enter user name and password - I get the same result - it just returns to the log in menu for sky email with user name and password blank.
I had a previous problem with the sky mail ceasing to show recent mails, frozen in time on the iPad. Somehow by trying some reset instructions I was able to 'unlock' the iPad and all was OK until it 'froze' again. This time I clearly screwed up attempts to unlock, resulting in not being able to access email accounts via the Sky site !!

On Yahoo Mail...and ONLY Yahoo Mail..I get a 404 error after entering my user name and password. This doesn't happen with IE, just Firefox, and just Yahoo Mail. Yahoo was absouletly no help whatsoever; can you solve the mystery? Thanks

thanks so much for your posts back. I really appreciate it and yes that does help to know that you could not get it working.
I did have some success, in removing the SSL Authentication checkbox in the smtp server settings - I found that this allowed my friend to be able to send mail from the mail app via his sbcglobal (yahoo) account.
So that did help but of course the messages do not have ssl encryption and I'm not sure how big a deal that is for an individual. He is able to receive mail but unless the SSL authentication box is unchecked, he cannot send.
i hope that helps anyone out there also!

Reinstalling Lion Without the Installer
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alterhatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.

As we are working on System 9.2.0, the problem we are facing are as we log into Workspace we get a error "PLEASE ENTER THE VALID USERNAME AND PASSWORD TO LOGIN TO THE SYSTEM"; and the moment we access FR studio another error message pops up which says "COULD NOT CONNECT TO GSM SERVER HYPERION:1800" we have installed Hyperion BI/UI within the same folder and configured with same repository, Every service is successfully installed and configured, in the shared services we are able to see the BI+ node and we also have tried configuring the shared services and BI/UI , twice or thrice. I upgraded the original Hard Drive to SSD drive. After the upgrade, I can no longer automatically log in. I now have to enter my user name and password. I tried resetting automatic login in Users and Groups but it doesn't work in Mavericks.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

Time Capsule won't accept my user name and password for access - Help!

My Time Capsule seemed to stop working one day and I had to do a hard reset with the little button at the back. After that it worked and I restored my wireless network settings but now I can't access the Time Capsules hard drive with Time Machine.
When I try to choose it as my Backup Disk in the Time Machine preferences it says "Enter your user name and password so Time Machine can access the file server "Our Time Capsule" (the name of my time capsule). However, every time I try to enter my password I get "Sorry, you entered an invalid username or password".
I've already tried several resets of the Time Capsule and I've also tried logging on my computer as the Root user and changing my administrator account password back and forth but no go.

Consider the following:
*_Time Capsule Keeps Asking Me For a Password_*
It will be important to know what is going on, or what you are doing when it asks for the password. Is it asking for a password only when Time Machine attempts a backup? Consider this:
It is NOT your username and password it wants when you try accessing the Time Capsule. (I know... it SAYS "username and password") But it means the Time Capsule's Name and Password.
You will find that by launching Airport Utility.
Select the TC on the left.
Click "Manual Setup".
Click the "Time Capsule" Tab.
You will see "Time Capsule Name:" and "Time Capsule Password".
Make sure “Remember password in keychain" is checked.
That is the information you need to enter when it asks for "username & password."
*I Don’t Remember What My Time Capsule Password Is*
You can see what your current TC password is by going into Keychain.
Open your Keychain and select "login" from the Keychains pane in the top left. Highlight "Passwords" in the Category pane from the lower left.
Sort all the items by Kind. Note everything labeled "Airport...". How many do you have listed? There should only be one "Airport base station password" for each base station that you have active. Also, there should only be one "Airport network password" for each network you have created. If there are more than these, then delete all but the ones with the most recent Modification date.
To see what passwords are being stored, double-click your Time Capsules' entry. A new window will appear.
Put a check beside "Show Password". You may be asked for your own Admin password so enter that.
Now the Password field will display the password you entered into Airport Utility for your Time Capsule
*It Still Won’t Accept the TC Name and Password*
Launch Airport Utility --> Manual Setup.
Select "Disks" in the tool bar above.
Click the "File Sharing" tab.
Is "File Sharing" checked? It should be.
What is selected beside "Secure Shared Disks"? If it says "With Accounts" or "With a Disk Password" then the system will ask you for a password every time it mounts the TC hard disk. If you switch it to "With Time Capsule Password" then use the password you designated earlier in the “Time Capsule" tab. It should only ask you once and then never again - because you had checked "Remember password in keychain".
If you have made any changes then click "Update".

It may be that AutoFill is disabled in Safari, or that Private Browsing is on.
Go to Settings > Safari > Passwords & AutoFill and make sure that Names and Passwords is on.
Go to your Home screen and open Safari. If Safari is black or dark instead of white or gray, Private Browsing is on. Safari doesn't save account names and passwords when Private Browsing is on. To turn off Private Browsing:
On iPad, tap the the plus icon in the upper-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.
On iPhone and iPod touch, tap in the lower-right corner of the Safari page, then tap Private in the lower-left corner.

TG797n v3 log on to 10.0.0.138 User name and Password for wireless set-up

I have a TG797n v3 on Windows 7 to a Dell XPS via ethernet cable. Has been working fine, but. . . just aquired an iPad Mini for family use.When trying to configure the iPad Mini, I can't get past the log in requirements of the "found" wireless network. My laptops read it OK but the iPad keeps asking for a Password for the Telstra***** wireless network. I have tried every conceivable password I have ever used without success.I tried resetting the TG797, (by switching off the power for 1 minute, and pressing the rest button for 20 seconds, and leaving the power on and pressing the re-set button),and now it is asking for a User name AND a Password to enable log in to 10.0.0.138. I can't even get to the set-up page anymore!! I have re-installed the software from the CD that came with the T-gateway, but at no stage does it ask for a password. It asks for the SSID and the Wireless Key, but nothing else! and connection to the internet is established.(Otherwise I couldn't type this, could I?) So, where, and how, do I either retrieve the Password hidden in the TG or reset the password the iPad is looking for???I have configured the TG797 by disconnecting and re-connecting (no passwords asked for) I have searched all the Help topics and they ALL say " Just enter your User name and Password" . . . yeah, great if you can remember it or even resetit!! The password you need is located on the underside of you modem unless you have already changed it yourself. It will often be listed as a WAP PIN.

Need User Name and Password for External Firewire new hard drive

In the past, I've worked with two 250 GB PATA drives in my G4, one inside and one in an external Firewire enclosure. I used Carbon Copy Cloner to copy and maintain all system and user files from the internal drive to the external drive. The external drive would boot just fine. These two drives were both partitioned with 74.5 and 158.4 GB partitions with the system files on the smaller.
The internal drive died so I bought a new 500GB drive and installed it in the external enclosure and moved the former external drive inside the G4.
I again used CCC to copy the system and user files to the new 500GB drive.However, I only gave it one 465.8GB partition. I cannot make the external drive complete the boot process. It stops and demands a user name and a password. I've not been able to supply ones which work.
I have remembered and entered the user name and password which were installed when I partitioned the 250 GB drives years ago. The window thinks a few seconds and then shakes back and forth and then clears the data entry boxes so that I can try again.
I do have an Install DVD for Tiger 10.4 (bought from Apple) and have been able to use that to go back and change the root or administrator password and the User password on the computer. That has not solved my problem.
I have read about 25 pages of this forum and not seen any posts that referred to password problems with only the external hard drive. But I've seen some very knowledgeable answers to other people's posts.

Generally, when Mac OS X is asking you for a username and password, it is when you are doing something that requires an Administrator password, such as repairing a hard drive's Directory or making major changes to quasi-System things.
So Carbon Copy Cloner and Disk Utility are likely asking for an Administrator user_id and password. It will not take a simple carriage return as an answer -- the operation will not complete without that Admin authorization.
If you are among the \[estimated five or six] people who actually read the manual and followed the advice to use a non-admin password for your day-to-day computer work, you may not even remember the Admin username and password.
If you have an Installer CD, you can boot to the Installer CD and choose Reset Password off the Installer menu (10.3 and earlier) or the Utilities menu (10.4 and later). There is also an Installer-compatible version of Disk Utility there, and while booted from the CD is an ideal Time to Repair your main Hard Drive, while it is not being used for booting the System.

Invalid User Name and Password when logging onto BPM Workspace (v9.3.1)

I have installed Hyperion Planning and the related/required products. When I attemp to log on to Workspace, I get the following message;
'You must supply a valid User Name and Password to log onto the system."
I have tried using the native 'admin' account, and an NTLM account that I have setup. Both of these accounts work for logging onto the the User Management Console and to the Essbase Administration Console, and I have provisioned both of them with full admin privileges.
Has anyone encountered this issue?

Thank you all for the responses so far.
On the first response, I had already provisioned an NTLM user that is a member of the local Administrators group with all administrative roles, and also refreshed security in EAS prior to submitting this inquiry, so that did not solve the problem.
On the second, I cannot navigate to ../workspace/browse/configinfo without logging in so I am unable to review this information.
On the third response, where do you provision the user to BI+? If I open the User Management Console, there are four root roles each with a tree underneath: APS 9.3.1 Server, Analytic Servers, Business Rules, and Hyperion Shared Services. Under each tree, I have provisioned the 'admin' user and the NTLM user for all roles, including Administrator, Dimension Editor and Application Creator under Hyperion Shared Services -> Global Roles. Should there be a BI+ tree? If so, it is not appearing on the list.
Thanks for any additional info anyone can provide.

Getting prompt as follows, WebDAV File System Authentication,
Enter your user name and password to access the server at the URL "http://idisk.mac.com/bobbiealiaswink/" in the realm "idisk.mac.com."
User name and password were changed recently by Mobile Me, now either or neither
are being recognized by prompt. Constant reminders every few minutes since upgrading Safari two day ago....I am going buggy with prompts...have tried every possible configuration. Is there a way to enter new access area to enter new username and password?
