Enter verification code from iPhone

When renting a movie on AppleTV, it's asks for a verification code. I'm using my iphone as a remote. My code is 3 digits but there are 4 boxes. There is no way to navigate to "submit" from my iPhone (using as remote). I tried entering 0 and then my code but that didn't work either. Anyone else have this issue and solve it?

Reload the page. If it doesn't load, choose Activity from Safari's Window menu, find that picture in the list, and see what it says to the right; this may reveal what the problem is.

Scroll down to the bottom of the iTunes page. On the right you'll see a round flag icon.
Make sure you have the correct country selected.

HT1947 Where do I find Remote on the "tab bar" in iTunes in order to punch in my 4 digit code from iPhone (to pair and home share)?

I've already configured iTunes to share libraries at home...but I can't seem to find where to punch in the 4 digit code that is provided from my iPhone.To be honest, I am extremely frustrated at this point! Please give me an answer that will tell me WHERE exactly this "TAB BAR" is located. Of course I habve the app Remote...but where on earth do I find this to enter a code?!! Getting very annoyed.
I've seen other comments and questions exactly like mine whilst Googling for answers...but they are all answered with jibberish and cockiness. No real detail. All in all--there are NO answers and I am not a happy camper.

Hi, if you have switched on your 'Home sharing' on both itunes and your device, your device should show up in your itunes side bar and below the list of contents on ur device you will find the remote icon. click it and it will prompt you to enter the passcode. If you can't find this then
Here's what to check for:
Lunch itunes
Go to Edit
Click preferences
on the General Tab, you'll noticed that 'Shared libraries' isnt checked. that's fine you will fix this.
Now click on Sharing Tab if u have a message about Bonjour service not running then all you need do is enable Bonjour Service on you computer.
For Windows 8 users:
Right click 'Computer'
Click on 'Manage'
Double click 'Services and applications'
Double click 'Services'. This will display a list of background services/processes running on ur PC.
Scroll down to 'Bonjour Service' and right click.
Click properties. In the pop up box, change the start up type to 'AUTOMATIC'
click Start
Apply
close the box
restart pc
lunch itunes
connect itunes and device to same wifi
Do the 'Home Sharing' thing again and you will find all as i explained in my first paragraph.
Sorry I have no idea where Services is located in mac or what it is called.

AppleTV wont accept pairing code from iPhone

Hi,
In the remote app on my iPhone I went into settings and hit add library, it gives me a 4 digit code and in my AppleTV in the remotes section it says click to pair iphone.
I selected it and enter the code on the iphone screen but it wont let me finish, when I hit done it just beeps but doesnt accept or give an error message.
Any ideas?

I have the same problem. Remote on my iPhone used to work fine, but now won't connect. I deleted it from ATV and then tried to set up again. The ATV recognizes the iPhone for the remote pairing, but won't accept the code - basically nothing happens when you enter it, just hangs. Then hitting enter again, causes a "wrong code" error message.
The support article linked to above doesn't help.
Any other ideas?

Two-step verification code from apple

Hi, I've been trying to setup again the "two step verification security code" from Apple and they request that I add a telephone number for verification, to which they send a SMS with the 4 digit code when I try to access/change my contact details from apple/icloud to verify it's me and not somebody else. I've run into problems with my two meteor numbers. The text is never received from apple even though the network is listed as one that is able to receive texts from Apple. https://support.apple.com/en-ie/HT202656 I have no problem setting up the two step verification procedure if I add another mobile number I have from the Three network. The verification codes are received. But, I don't want to have to use that number as I hardly have it with me. Is this a known issue with meteor? It used to work when I was with emobile? I used to get the texts. But, then they stopped coming. It is also affecting my Apple Pay. I have UK cards which I have added to my phone, but Apple has to verify my nymber through text. They send the text, but I never receive it. (it is not an imessage, by the way. iMessage works perfectly). They have to be proper mobile messages (SMS) for the verification process, but I only run into issues with the meteor network. Is there a filter setup somewhere that stops Apple from delivering their messages to Meteor customers? It happens in my two numbers. Thank you so much for your help.Dani

I had this yesterday as well. I discovered that it was because I had changed the app restrictions on my iPad to 12+ from Allow All Apps. I don't know if this helps in your case, but it seems that access to the device app that controls the AppleID is required on verified devices.
The email is unhelpful - it would be better if it said a bit more about why devices may cease to be trusted.

Firefox won´t accept entered verification codes.

On some websites (eBay for example) you have to enter a verification code (to avoid spam messages) to be able to send email to a seller.
When I do that in Firefox the website won´t accept my enter and asks me to enter the code (a new one) again.
When I execute exactly the same procedure in Internet Explorer there are no such problems.
(Firefox ver 16.02.4680. IE ver 8.0.6001.18702.)
What shall I do to be able to use Firefox in the same way as IE?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Also make sure that security software isn't blocking or changing such CAPTCHA images.

How can I erase the enter pass code from my iphone 4?

Settings, General, Passcode lock, off. You will have to enter the passcode you first entered to be able to turn it off.

I enter the code from the iPhone on my desktop, it authorizes the iPhone which syncs tabs but stops when it hits bookmarks and says "incorrect sync key".

My previous question said "add a device" went to help and there was no place to input the code for a new device - was using Firefox 3 and found it in Firefox 4 Beta - BUT - the sync still fails when it finishes tabs and starts bookmarks and same thing comes up as before: "incorrect sync key".

Problems with entering verification code for iCloud on both mac and iPhone

Hello Apple, I am a totally blind mac user and wish to use iCloud keychain. I tried to set it up both on my mac and IOS device so that they can sync all of my account information, but have no luck. Every time I want to set up my iCloud, I have issues because it asks me to verify my identity with apple support. When I click the link to the iCloud support page, there is no way I can contact apple directly or fill out forms to verify my account. I would love to use the iCloud keychain to keep track of my accounts. What should I do in this case?

I cannot enter verification codes in safari anymore

When I try to enter a verfication code then it is always rejected (see picutre). When I open Firefox it works without a problem.
I rather want to keep using Safari :-) Thanks for the help!

Hi Marc, the adobe plugin has nothing to do with it (this is in the Library/InternetPlugins folder by the way), even with Adobe installed, I always advise to delete the Adobe plugins, the Preview plugins -default- do it very good.
Could be an extension in safari, as Carolyn said, but you do not have any.
In Safari Preferences/Security the "Java Script" must be activated (never uncheck that because you need that for almost everything, it has nothing to do wit Java).
When you activate Java in Safari and it does not work, Go into SystemPreferences and click the Java Applet and in the Security Tab you must activate it there too!
But: I never have to activate Java to put in the code... I have Java disabled almost always, it is only in one particular Banking Application that needs it.
Disable Java (not javascript), Quit Safari (from the menu). Then restart the machine. Try again.

Manually entered contacts disappear from iphone

Any contact (phone number) that I manuall enter on my IPhone disappears. Is it being wiped out by some mailbox that syncing? How do I stop it from happening?

In which account are you entering it, local, iCloud, some other account?

Firefox 29.0.1 won´t accept entered verification codes.

I went to ask a seller a question on ebay and firefox would not accept the captcha code, I tried and tried.
Yet IE 11 took item right away!!
So annoying, didn't work in safe mode etc.
So much easier to do this in Internet Explorer 11
