I bought new i phone and just created new apple ID now.
But I made an error to enter wrong e-mail address (miss spell) on new apple Id and it created.
I have to edit the e-mail address
Don't want to send my information to someoneelse.

Both can be viewed fby doing "About this Mac" from the Apple menu at the left end of the menubar. The OS version will be pretty obvious; posting what the window says about your processor will help us figure out what model.
I ask becasue about 60 percent of the posts here are about newer models than the pre-2006 iMacs this forum serves.

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway... -

Many thanks, James Cummings.First, you're not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. The only people who will respond are fellow users and there's nothing we can do directly with this problem.
But I can tell you that if you redeemed the card through the wrong iTunes Store ID, then sorry, but there's no way to transfer credit from one account to another. You'll have to use the iTunes Store ID under which you redeemed the card to make your purchases. You would not have been able to redeem the card through another account unless you had the password to that account, though, so you may not have actually successfully redeemed the card. Have you tried to redeem it through your "real" iTunes Store account?

How was someone using my e-mail address as their Apple ID?
First time posting, so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum.
1) I have a primary e-mail adress that is not linked to my iTunes. The only time this e-mail address was used in conjunction with anything Apple was when I purchased Quicktime Pro in 2006 and registered my iPod in 2007. I do have an iTunes account with a seconday e-mail address, and log in occasionaly to listen to free podcasts (never purchasing anything)
2) Today on my primary e-mail address, I recieved a warning that an app was downloaded, with this e-mail as the Apple ID. This was the first e-mail I've recieved from Apple on this address since registering my iPod in 2007.
I live alone, and don't share my electronics with anyone, so I know it's not that. so I'm left wondering - how did someone use my e-mail address as an Apple ID? Wouldn't I have recieved an e-mail during the initial registration this person tried to use?
Thankfully I have no credit card associated with Apple, so I wasn't overcharged, but this seems like a big security hole.The content was this:
Your Apple ID, [my primary e-mail address] , was just used to download -KingdomConquest- from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID.
If you initiated this download, you can disregard this email. It was only sent to alert you in case you did not initiate the download yourself.

There is the possibility that I did change my iTunes account to my primary and just forgot, but that's doubtful considering a) today was my first e-mail from Apple since 2007 on this address and b) I'm still recieving iTunes updates on my secondary e-mail that I registered years ago.
Also, I don't own any devices capable of running Kingdom Conquest. Thankfully, it's a free app. It would be interesting to see a list of other apps downloaded with this ID, if any. Is there a way to do that?
Maybe someone mistyped their email address when creating their account and it just happened to be yours?
I thought that, too, but my e-mail address is [email protected] My first name is somewhat common, my last name is definitely not. And back to what I said earlier, I never recieved a registration e-mail from Apple, just the one above. -
HT3529 Help with multiple e-mail addresses under one Apple ID
My 3 kids each have their own e-mail addresses under my Apple ID for the iMessage feature on their iPod Touch's. Just recently I began receiving their iMessages on my iPhone despite the fact that each device has only its own email address selected. Also, when I send messages to certain people, it goes out as one of my children's messages. When I send my children a message, it goes to them as well as comes back to me from myself. We have never had an issue with this until about 2 weeks ago. Has anyone ever experienced this, or do you have suggestions on how to fix the problem?

MelissaTo make it simple, you can use your purchasing Apple ID on all your family devices in Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID. That allows you to share your Apps, Books and Music purchases from Apple iTunes Store, iBooks Store and Apps Store.
For all other Apple services like Game Center, iMessages, FaceTime, etc. you should get each of your children their own Apple ID (using their valid e-mail addresses)

I setup my iCloud account on my iPhone 5 with the wrong e mail address, and I don't remmber the password, I reset my tel and erase all the information on my iPhone in order to try to set up a new iCloud account but when I restart I have a problem agaIn , they ask me to put again the old iCloud user account and password, what I can do in order to start the phone when I don't have the correct e mail and I don't remmber the passcode.?
I have the same problem as the emails go to my iCloud account that I cannot access!!! I cannot answer the security questions as someone else must have set up my iCloud account. Nothing seems to work. It would be great if someone has some ideas as what can be done to recover the situation?

Can't use Find My Friends on iPhone due to Apple ID not being verified.
Can't do this as I can't access my .mac email any longer and I can not change the primary e-mail address for my Apple ID!
So my options are:
Create a new Apple ID, use that and lose all the apps I've purhcased with it (a fairly substantial amount)
Somehow Migrate these purchases over to a new Apple ID
Apple let me change the primary ID for the account
Anyone else ran into this before?
I've tried accessing the mail through a mail application using the correct server information, and trying both the old 6 character password and the one I had to change it too after they updated the security guidelines - neither work.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I can see more services down the line not working without the address being verified!To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Is it possible for a user to complete an on line form in the members only section of my web site and then enter an e-mail address to send the form to.
It appears most forms have a default e-mail address that the form is sent to when the user clicks the submit button, i would like the user to enter any e-mail address they like to send the information to as well as the default e-mail address.
I am using windows 7, Dreamweaver CS4 and ASP server pages to have members logon to the members only section.

Why do you think so? This is not the case.
Just process the form, and use the contents of the field in which the visitor has placed the desired target email address (properly sanitized, of course to avoid email injection problems) as the "To:" address in your call to the mailserver. -
I have changed my e-mail address on the apple ID website and have been able to change it for ICloud. My e-mail address (ID) has not changed for I-tunes and therefore, I can't install updates. ??
If this is on your computer's iTunes then log out via the Store > Sign Out menu option and then log back in with the updated version of your account. If on an iOS device then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log out and then log back in.
