Entering contacts with Philippine address in outlook

When i update my outlook address book with Philippine addresses and after syncing my iphone,I cannot see these addresses in my iphone address book.Instead it will search for the location.
But other addresses say US,canada,Hong Kong have no problem and
can see them in the iphone address book.Could it be that Philippines is not yet in the iphone software( its the first iphone edition that I have)

How to set default email address for contact with multiple addresses.

Apologies if this has been asked before, it seems a very basic question but I'm unable to find an answer.
Can a default address be set in Address Book for a contact with multiple addresses? Or if not, which address does it send to "automatically" when this condition exists? I know you can manually select the address you want to use, but what if the contact is added to a group?

I have the same question. I have a contact that has five email addresses. When I add the person to a group, Mail automatically selects one of the addresses, but not the one I want. I need to go back and manually select the correct address. Can't I select one of these addresses as the default to be used all the time?

Entering Names with Email Addresses

New user here.
Would someone mind giving me some tips on entering names with email addresses into a list of magazines in Numbers?
Is there a way to de-activate the clickable link for email addresses temporarily?
Is there a way to enter these from an external document such as Pages in a single cell? Right now I do this and (the paragarph return?) causes them to scatter across a number of cells in a way I don't understand.
Is there a way to have the addresses get listed with name and then the email address on one line and then the next name and address on the next line etc? Right now if I hit return it throws me down to the next cell.
Finally, is there a way to get the column headings to show up near the column alphabet at the top when i am scrolled down to a point where I can't see the name for the column? Right now if I am scrolled down it is hard to know which column to put information into.

Yes, in the Hyperlink Inspector.

Double-click in the cell before pasting.

Instead of hitting Return, hit Tab.

In Sheet View mode, select "Freeze Header Rows" in the Header control on the Format Bar.

How do I sync outlook for Mac 2011 contacts with Address book. I updated the itunes or apple updates and it erased my contacts from the address book. I did have is set up where the they automaticaly updated back and forth but now I can not find how to check this. Bottom line I want my contacts back to address book. ??????? anyone.

Outlook for Mac doesn't support contact (or calendar) syncing with iCloud because Microsoft chose not to include the CardDAV (and CalDAV) protocals that are required (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2648915). You'll have to use the OS X Address Book (Contacts) app to sync with iCloud.

Replacing iPad2 contacts with iMac address book

My contacts list on my ipad are all messed up with duplicates, etc. I cleaned up my computer's address book, thinking I could just replace all the ones on my iPad with my address book, but can't get that to happen.
Does anyone know how to do this? I tried clicking the bottom box that says "Replace information on this iPad" and clicked contacts, but after I sync, nothing changes.
I have a feeling it's something cloud related but I don't know how to change the info that's in the cloud, if that's the case. I just want my iPad contacts gone, replaced with my newly cleaned up and updated address book on my iMac.

They will sync back to the Mac.
Syncing Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks etc. keeps things the same in both directions, no matter where you make the changes.

Choosing an email address on contacts with multiple addresses

Has anyone found a way, using Siri, to choose which email address to send to when a contact has multiple addresses? She asks which address would you like me to send the message to and I have found no way to verbally choose and address.

You cannot rename the labels in Outlook except by modifying the Contact form. Which, as a developer, I can do. However, my fear is that it won't be pushed to the iPhone since they already have unique identifiers now and they are only showing up on the iPhone as "email". While it may be that Exchange only labels them as email Android devices equate E-mail to Business Email and E-mail 2 as Home Email by default.
Maybe the next iterration of Siri will allows us to chose first, second, or third.

Sending emails to one Contact with multiple Addresses

Hi,
I am a volunteer with youth sports, and frequently need to send emails to entire teams of kids. I have the players all listed as one contact, but have the email addresses both parents and themselves listed under their contact. When I send an email, I need it to go to all listed, Parents and Players.
Separating the contacts would be a disaster, as when I need to contact a player I always need to contact, Mom, Dad, and Player...
I did create a group for my team, thinking this was the solution to my issue. Unfortunately, when I went to send an email, it only went to one email for each player. That lead to many complaints "Why did I not get the message"...
Love everything Mac so far, but this is killing me... and may keep me away. Outllook lets me do it so easily, why not mac.
I would appreciate any help.

Thanks - starting a brand new SMS rather than continuing an existing thread gave me the option of which number to choose, and the thread then switched to show all the messages related to that number.

Apple Contacts creates a new contact with email address only.

We have Exchange 2013 (Office 365) Configured and having issues where Apple Contacts seems to add email addresses of people we've sent messages to. It doesn't matter if they are already in the Contacts on exchange. These contacts do not sync to Exchange server. I cannot find them on my iPhone, only on Mac. They just show up in Apple Contacts. So when browsing through your contacts you will see multiple email addresses stacked on top of one another.
If you do a search for the card in Apple Contacts it doesn't find the card.
It appears to be random when Apple Mail decides to create these contacts, not every time an email is sent?
Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks for the idea. I think your definitely on the right page here. I found the light version settings of OWA in a slightly different place. But you are correct that the E-Mail Name Resolution option appears. (odd it's not in the main version)
For me I found it , under Options, and General Outlook on the Web Version.
I was then able to go and remove the check mark beside "add recent recipients to the Most Recent Recipients List, and I clicked the Clear Most Recent Recipients list button.
Sadly for me, the email addresses were still in my Contacts App. I removed and re-added the account again and they still re-appeared.
I was using Safari for a browser. I will try to use Chrome and press "Clear Most Recent Recipients" and post my findings again.

Google recently terminated support for new configurations of gmail using Exchange Active Sync for unpaid accounts. In theory, existing configurations will continue to work, but there have been some problem reports.
I've seen several mentions of the problem you describe in the last few days and so far, they've gone unresolved as far as I can tell. The root cause may be in google's termination of AES support.
Facebook contact sync may also be a suspect.

iCal sync is fine. All the proper boxes in iTunes are checked. The iPhone is reconized in iTunes. Any suggestions?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I kind of doubt Apple has added a solution for that yet, since your Facebook account is not yet synced through iCloud; it is set up independantly on each device.
However I hope you can help me, I cannot figure out how to manually link contacts on my Mac; there is no Add Link button like there is on the phone...

Syncing Google Gmail Contacts with Address Book and iPhone Contacts

Can anyone recommend a good way to sync Google Gmail Contacts with the Address Book on the Mac and with Contacts on the iPhone?

How to Sync BB Torch 9800 with Office for Mac Outlook 2011?

I can not sync my bb with my mac with MS Office 2011 Outlook.
Just for the info I am using Mac OSX 10.7 and it does not have iSync.
First time I synced my device, the bb desktop manager asked me what to sync with what.
I did sync my contacts with Mac address book, but now I have MS Office 2011 for Mac and want to sync all four
1 Calender
2 Contacts
3 Notes and
4 Tasks
with my outlook.
Can some one please guide me on how can I get that done?

Outlook 2011 problem syncing contacts with address book

I am aware that Lion has broken the sync ability of Outlook 2011 with Address Book. Hopefullly this will be fixed at some point.
So my problem is that I have decided to use a workaround to get my Address Book contents into Outlook 2011. I am not concerned with further syncing at this point. I just want to get my addresses into Outlook and hope a better fix is offered at some point.
About the only way I could figure out how to do this was to export my Address Book as vCard. I then imported the vCard file into Gmail and then exported that as a CSV file. It contained 550 addresses. I opened it in Excel and it contained 550 rows. Great so far.
I then Imported into Outlook 2011 and chose import a text file. When the mapping window opened, it showed over 890 files instead of 550 and the fields were not mapped correctly. I could not complete the import because it was so screwed up.
So I'm back to square one and very frustrated. There must be others who have the same issue and maybe have figured out a way to do this. Please help.

If you can't get the exported .csv file to work you might consider using Migration Assistant: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2518, particular if you need to move more than just your contacts. There is some granularity in the options on what to transfer but I'm not sure if you can choose to just your migrate contacts.
