I have installed Oracle Database 1og on Window 7
The problem is the Enterprise Manager does not open when i am moving my laptop outside the network
What should i do to make sure my EM available

Solution Description
GL setup->financial->flexfileds->key -> segments 화면의
Structures region에서 Title에 입력된 Data가 20 chars(한글은 10글자)를 넘으면
위와 같은 Error가 발생한다.

Node Manager not starting UCM Server automatically

Hi All,
I have configured Node Manager to start and stop UCM 11g server.
But whenever, I am restarting the host OS - Windows server 2003 64 bit, it does not start the UCM managed server, automatically.
I am running two managed servers on the same host OS, the first UCM manages server, starts automatically on every restart.
The second managed UCM server, does not start. I need to then manually start the managed server. There are no errors logged, and the manual start of the managed server happens without any issues.
As a workaround, I tried starting the managed server from Windows scheduler, but it does not start the server as well. I wrote a script like -
Myscript.cmd
call E:\..\user_projects\domains\prod_domain\bin\setDomainEnv.cmd
java weblogic.WLST c:\start....\ServerStart.py
scheduled the script (myscript.cmd) to run from the Windows Scheduler.
Any pointers would be very helpful. Are there any known issues, if there are two managed servers, and one starts automatically, which affects the starting of the second managed server?

Give a cross check to your ServerStart.py
As the error states The server name PRD_UCM_Server1 specified with -Dweblogic.Name does not exist
In your ServerStart.py you might have specified as follows
sh start MAnagedWeblogic.sh server=PRD_UCM_Server1
While these are the list of Server you have in your weblogic
PRDAdminServer,
PRD_UCM_server1,(You have Specified in your command PRD_UCM_Server1
PRD_IBR_server1
The Command should be as follows
sh start ManagedWeblogic.sh server=PRD_UCM_server1
This should help

EPMA Prcess Manager not starting

Hi John,
I had gone thru the document you mentioned in the other post and increased the DimensionServerStartTime from 600 to 1200 and also to 1800 later but i am encountering the following error.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion
Please let me know what to be done

Hyperion EPMA Server service does not start and displays an error "Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs" when trying to start the service . This issue occurs only in Windows 2008 server.
The event viewer logs will have the following entry
Service cannot be started. Hyperion.dimensionserver.Interface.Exceptions. EPMAServiceException:Cannot initialize the session Manager. -->System.Net.SocketException:No Connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:5255

This problem occurs in an IPv6 enabled server.
Cause
When IPv6 is enabled on the EPMA server, the "Hyperion EPMA Server" service starts a process called EPMA_NetJNIBridge which communicates using IPv6. The problem is that the "Hyperion EPMA Server" is only listening using IPv4.
Solution
This issue has been identified as a code bug in 11.1.2.1.00 and is currently scheduled to be fixed in 11.1.2.2.000.
As a temporary solution, add the IPv6 loopback address to the host file on the server.
Example:
::1 localhost
::1 is the IPv6 loopback address. It is the IPv4 equivelent of "127.0.0.1 localhost"

SAP B1 License Manager not starting automatcially

Dear All
SAP Version : SAP 9.0 PL12
Issue :
1)SAP B1 License manager is not starting automatically even when the status is automatic in the Services.msc
2)Also when logged from the client system its asks for the IP address/server name every time.
3)Some times it connects with the Server name and sometimes with the IP address.
And at cases it doesn't even connect at all throwing the error message "Connection to the license server failed" .
and then when we replace the config files of SAP B1 to DI API it works fine at cases.
This issue occurs on a random basis and at almost in all the systems(System connected in the morning is facing issue at afternoon).
And it becomes an activity on a daily basis.
So kindly let us know the exact cause for this issue and also a permanent solution for the same.
Note : Firewall setting is turned off.

Have you Installed the License manager with the Admin Rights
SAP Business One doesn't start and License Server Selection screen comes up
SAP Business One generates this error message when logging on: "Connection with license server failed"
On License Server Selection this error occurs: "Connection to license server failed; if license server address is invalid, correct it; if TAO NT Naming Service stopped, activate it and restart License Manager"
On startup, the TAO NT Naming Service returns this warning: "The TAO NT Naming Service on local Computer started and then stopped...";
TAO NT Naming Service is not running. To access this service, right-click the My Computer icon and choose Manage -> Services
Connecting to License Server brings warning: "Failed to connect to License Server"
On startup, the SAP Business One License Manager returns this warning: "The SAP Business One License Manager on local Computer started and then stopped..."
RSP: Logging on to Remote Support Platform (RSP) brings this Error: "Agent service unavailable", RSP Agent Console cannot be accessed. Nevertheless SAP Business One RSP Agent Service is running and restarts successfully

Check in Service Manager TAO_NT_Naming_Service does it has dependency with SAP B 1 License Manager.
Check the above in the services... does it has got dependency

Concurrent Manager not starting automatically with adstrtal.sh apps/apps

I am facing an issue with ICM, its not starting automatically when I start the application with help of
/d01/oracle/viscomn/admin/scripts/VIS_oracleapps/adstrtal.sh apps/apps
But, I am able to start it manually with adcmctl.sh start apps/apps - any clue why its not starting automatically?
Pls let me know if any suggestions to troubleshoot...

This issue has been fixed, it was due to (apps) password was misspelt in the script calling the adstrtal.sh script.

Node Manager Not Starting Managed Servers

I have nodemanager configured to restart managed servers automatically upon reboot but when I physically restart the 2nd node none of the managed servers start and there are no errors. Steps completed and verified....
1) Nodemanager.properties has domain path and 'crashrecoveryenabled' set to 'true'
2) managed servers have autorestart set to 'true' and -Xnohup parameter added to startup arguments.
3) Boot.properties files ave the username and password (encrypted) to start up the server.
Here is the nodemanager.log file and you can clearly see it is grabbing the startup files. It almost looks like the server files are trying to get loaded before the nodemanager port is available but I see no errors. Any ideas?

If you will stop servers monitored by nodemanager, stop nodemanager and then reboot physical server, on startup if nodemanager is configured as daemon it will start nm process but will do nothing to managed server process.

Node manager not starting servers as a OS service.

Node manager is starting upon simulating OS crash but it is not bringing up the managed servers running on that machine.

Node Manager not starting servicess after server reboot

We have WLS 10.1.3.5 with IDM/OAM(two domains in same server as its TEST environment) on Oracle Linux 5(64bit),when ever server reboots node manger is not starting managed servers.
I have enabled CrashRecoveryEnabled=true

Concurrent Manager not starting after patching/ cloning

Hi,
We have an issue where after cloning and/or patching an environment the concurrent manager doesn't start. Our steps to resolve this problem have thus far been as follows:
1. Apply 3830807
2. Run autoconfig
3. Run cmclean.sql on environment
4. Check the libc* files in 8.0.6 ORACLE_HOME/lib/stubs
We had an instance after a patch was applied where the conc mgr did not start and we applied all of the above, in that order. No success. We then decided to apply the 3830807 patch again and run autoconfig- basically re- run steps 1 and 2. Success. In another instance, running the cmclean.sql resolved the error. In some instances, simply shutting down the application and DB and restarting will be enough.
Our problem is that the resolution to this error always seems random. What may work in one instance almost never works in another. Additionally, the problem has started since we've applied ATG RUP 6 to our LIVE environment and our clones. Coincidence?
We have logged an SR but I feel like we're being spun in circles- I'm not getting a direct answer or resolution path from them.
If someone could provide some guidance on a proper resolution path for this conc mgr issue I would very much appreciate it.

Basically the approach we're now taking (and that's working) is that after applying a patch, or set of patches, we apply patch 3830807 and then run autoconfig on the db and apps tier. We then shut down the application (if not already down) and the database and then bring everything back up.

Admin Server Shows Singleton Services Manager not started

Hi,
I have an environment with 1 Admin Server and 2 Managed Servers in the cluster.
I am using Migration basis as database for the cluster. I checked by installing one singleton service that it is working fine in cluster.
Then I created one migratable target having auto migration as the migration policy and migratable target is also working as expected.
Now the problem is whenever I start my Admin Server it is throwing exception:
Cannot add Singleton Service <Migratable Target Name> as Singleton not started. Check if MigrationBasis for cluster is configured.
Anyone is having any idea about this problem, what can be the issue is?

Hi Ramprakash Arun,
To prevent the java.net.BindException, use a unique combination of the IP:port as the listen address for every channel configured on the server. No other process should be listening on that address (IP:port).
Using netstat, verify whether the port specified is already in use by another process or not. Also check if the listen address is valid (using ipconfig/ifconfig).

Concurrent Manager Not Started after RUP7

Hi All,
After applying patch (6241631) 11.ATG_RUP7 concurrent manager showing status as not started in OAM.
The patch Installation completed succesfully with no issues.
All the concurrent managers are running and all application is running fine. Only the issue is with OAM

Concurrent Manager not started after Clonning - Forms not showing

Hi,
I have cloned PROD system into a TEST system using Rapid Clone.
After I started TEST services, I log into application but OracleForms are not working. When I click on a function which calls a selfservice form, it works well, but when the function calls an Oracle form, the Forms Environment is opened but there is only "Window" menu (which contains "tile", "cascade", etc).
The same situation even when I open directly from http://apptest.rmis:8000/dev60cgi/ifcgi60.exe.
Also Concurrent Manager service is not started. I deleted and recreated it, ran autoconfig, but the problem still persist.
Please help me to solve the issue.

I did the relinking of all executables under FND, tried to adsvcm -deinstall (-install) and ran autoconfig successfully, but still CM service is started than stopped.
