Enterprise Activation screen pops up when unlocking device...

This has started happening to around 6 of my users. When they are unlocking their 8900's the Enterprise Activation screen pops up (with no information filled in) We run BES5.0 and these devices have been activated for atleast 12 months. No changers have been made to the server or policies in over a month. Has anyone else experienced this? Obviously all they have to do is close it, but then it comes back next time they unlock the device. Thanks, Edd...

I just found this over at blackberryforums, it seems a reactivation of the device would appear to solve the issue...I'll give it a try later today if I have time, TGIF!

I saw this happen on some devices that were activated via a cable. Call your BES Admin and have them walk you through activation again using a password they issue you.

Multiple screens pop up when logging in...

Yesterday, we were using it and it worked just fine, The battery got down to about 3% So we put it on the charger. When I saw the green light on the charger, I took it off and attempted to use it. When I logged back in it said i had 1% battery and I knew that couldn't be right so I decided to restart it. When it came back on the battery was right again but all of these windows you see popped up. They even pop up in safe mode. I cant figure out what to do, I cant get to any of my documents to save them. I've tried to reboot it, reset it but nothing helps. I logged into the guest account and it didn't do it in there so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm not sure if you can see in the picture but the mouse stays that rainbow pinwheel thing unless you chose from the apps at the bottom.. Only way to restart is to hold the power button down and turn it off and back on again. I'm at a loss, I really don't want to lose all of my documents and pictures...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You do not tell us what version of Mac OS X is running...
Assuming 10.7 or later, try repair disk.
Reboot while holding the command and R keys down. You will see the screen shown in the first image here:

Select Disk Utility and continue.
In DU, select your drive on the left, First Aid, then Repair Disk.
When that is done, quit DU and restart.

How to prevent BIP login screen pop-up when opening BIP report from Dashbo

My customer linked BI Publisher report on the Dashboard page by setting
"Embedded Content" as "http://172.18.1.91:7001/xmlpserver/servlet/report".
Customer could open Dashboard directly(just login Dashboard. no need to login BIP) until applied patch 13399232.
After applied this patch,BIP login scrren pop-up everytime when opening dashboard.
Customer's BIP is 10.1.3.4.
Is there any way to prevent BIP login pop-up?
I tested in my BIP 10.1.3.4 enviroment which patch 13399232 doesn't be applied in.
I got the different behaviour with customer's.
I have to login BIP everytime when I openning dashboard.
The only difference between my setting with Customer's is that I added
"Embedded Content" as http://jpdel1203.jp.oracle.com:7777/xmlpserver/~administrator/Test/Test.xdo (It's hostname not IP address)
Is there sth i should set between BIP and dashboard ?
Does anyone kindly advise it?

Check your BIP integration with Analytics: BIP Admin integration with SAW. Ensure the user and password to proxy into BIP from BIEE is correct.

I'm not able to unlock Windows Mobile Professional 6.5 from Afaria and getting an error:
The Server was unable to process the request due to an internal error. For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the configuration behavior) on the server in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .Net Framework SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs.
Is there any solution?

Are you able to turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults, so that additional information can be seen?
Also, please can you indicate which version of Afaria and any Service Packs/Hot Fixes you are running, then we can check about any known/fixed issues related to this.

WORST PROBLEM EVER !!! Activation Screen Keeps Popping Up

my iPhone keeps going to the activation screen all day long. It activates and then after an hour or so the activation screen pops up again,,I ttied all possibles solutions...from changing id's and erasing the phone to factory settings and re-installing the os but still no joy.

Hi Go to Settings Reset Restore iphone to Factory Settings After Restore you must use the same Apple ID & password Then you will get all your Apps & Data back This will get rid of any bugs & iphone will be like new. Set iPhone back up over your Wifi I don't use a pc now do everything over Wifi. Cheers Brian

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

Yes, home sharing requires both to be on the same wifi network. As it stands access to the network requires the login via webpage, which cannot be done on Apple TV. You will need to speak to IT in order to grant access for the device.

Blackberry Enterprise Activation for Nokia devices

My company's policy for the activation of BlackBerry devices is to go through wireless Enterprise Activation.
This option does not seem to be available in the BlackBerry setup screens of the Nokia E70.
1. Does anyone know if Enterprise Activation is supposed to be available on Nokia devices?
2. If not, what should be done by our IT administrator (on either BES or Exchange) to allow the activation via the BlackBerry Connect Desktop application to work?

You can most certaily connect your E61-1 to a BES server as long as you use the Blackberry connect desktop application and PC suite together on the computer that has the MS-exchange e-mail accout setup on it in outlook. We have our onw Blackberry server and I have set it up on an E61 for a staff member with no problems at all using the software mentioned before.Message Edited by serenity on 06-Feb-2007

Occasional blank screen shot when unlocking phone

I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 7. After installing IOS 7, the phone occasionally takes a black "screen shot" photo when I swipe to unlock the phone. It is annoying. Is there a known glitch that causes this, or is there some other fix for this issue?

Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with the blank screenshot being created when unlocking your iPhone.
The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching all the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting all the apps, I recommend restarting your iPhone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for the original owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. No must contact the original owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the original owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

Yoga 13 - On-screen Keyboard Randomly Popping Up When Using Physical Keyboard?

While in laptop mode, and typing on the built-in physical keyboard or a keyboard attached via USB, the on-screen keyboard will randomly pop up, taking away focus (particularly noticeable when using extended desktop on an external display) and eating up half of the screen real estate. As soon as I press the next key on the physical board, the on-screen keyboard minimizes itself. Sometimes it will pop up when I'm not even touching the laptop!
Anyone else experience this and/or know how to stop it? It's the only thing about this machine that drives me absolutely nuts. It seems to be random. I can't pin it down and haven't found any similar reports via Google search.

Disabling "OnScreen Keyboard (Lenovo Transition)" stopped it. The solution is good enough for me, as I don't need the keyboard to pop up on its own anyway. It'll pop up when I tap in a text-entry box, and that's all that matters.
Attempts to calibrate the screen were unsucecssful. I can't say whether or not a screen calibration will stop the random pop-up issue because every time I calibrated the screen, it broke the right-side screen swipe that reveals the Charms Menu. Resetting the screen calibration was the only way I could find to restore the right-side swipe function. This is quite unfortunate because, regardless of the fact that it broke my Charms swipe, my touchpoints were FAR more accurate after the calibration than before.
So now I have another problem. I can't calibrate my screen for optimum accuracy without losing the convenience of the right-side swipe.
Any ideas?
